^sis.. kami ng sis ko nag DSD last april 30 sa aqua venture.. 3.5k lang nagastos namin.. may certification na.. then mago-open water course kami ng early june..

Nice. Pwedeng pa-post ng mga alam nyong may mga murang fun dives. Nung nag search kasi ako, it will cost you around 4K. E parang hello, 4K isang araw? Parang ang mahal nun para sakin. Baka may contact kayo sa Anilao na mas mura?

Sis fun dive ba gusto mo or intro dive? if fun dive (which means certified ka na) usually P600-800 lang per boat dive (depende sa layo at dami niyo) and shore dive naman is 200-400 depende kung may DM o wala. So sa isang araw wala pa P2k gastos mo for at least 3 fun dives.

haha, discovery dive ata yung 4K, ah so fun dive pala for certified peeps lang. sana may murang discovery dive yung 2k lang all in + food

Buti yung iba pumayag ang instructor na hindi marunong mag-swimming. Instructor ko kasi, very strict. Pinag-20 laps ako and 10minutes threading. Otherwise, di pwede.  Di ic-certify.

I miss diving though! Ever since I got married and had kids, di na ako naka-dive ulit. 

Before, almost every week nasa Anilao kami!  Went to Galera (nice dive spots there too!) tapos nakapag-Tubbataha pa kami! Hindi na ako nakasama sa Coron, Palau, Malapascua and Apo Reef.   Sayang! But I really miss diving.  It's very therapeutic for me.

Hindi masyado ok ang dive sa Boracay.  Swerte lang yung dive namin na may dumaan na shark and a Napoleon  (pa-ascend to safety stop pa!)... pero pag wala yon, puro sand lang talaga. 

Tubbataha was amazing!!! ganda ng visibility.  Lots of sharks, turtles, buhay na buhay ang corals. Sulit!!!

i just sort of enrolled for an open water course with diver's network. i said 'sort of' because i haven't paid full kasi they want me to give them a schedule for the water training (pool and open water) before i pay the full amount. i just paid them for the theoreticals as a deposit.

anyone interested to join me? one student pa lang ako in my class and i think it'll be more fun if i have a classmate hehe...

WOW. We plan to go to Tubbataha next year. What month kayo nagpunta dun sis? And would you mind sharing kung how much nagastos mo? TIA!

^sis beck, how much rate for PADI open water cert?

Had my first scuba diving (DSD) at El Nido through Palawan Divers, 3.5k all in which consists of lecture tapos 2 dives at helicopter island and west entalula at 16.8 max depth. Grabe, na-amaze ako sa underwater sceneries sobrang ganda! Kaya now pag-iipunan ko pang-enroll for cert... =)

gusto ko talaga magdive kaso i can't stay afloat in the water for a long time because of my mitral valve prolapse. hindi kasi normal yung heartbeat ko. =( although i can swim in lapses pero inconsistent yung breathing ko. pwede kaya ako magdive?

sis zaki ang SWERTE mo naman! DSD mo sa Palawan! WOW!!!!! nakapunta na ako El Nido pero tipong island hopping lang kasi hindi ko pa enjoy ang underwater idea before..

anyhoo, the open water course na nakuha namin is 17.5k. PADI siya. inclusive ng manual, pool sessions, all rent ng equipments, lectures/exams, and 4-5 check out dives. exclusive ang transpo, and boat rentals. the good thing here is -- installment siya. actually hindi pa nga ako fully paid, pero nakuha na ang c-card.. hehe

sis freeswan you need not to worry if you cant stay long afloat.. kasi ang scuba diving naman is about --sinking. believe me. ako hindi rin marunong lumangoy pag nasa surface ka na, may BCD (buoyancy compensating device), that will aid you float after your dive. yung breathing mo, mare-regularize yan once you get comfortable breathing using the regulator.. personally, na-appreciate ng lungs ko yung clean air ah..

joining. mga sis help me naman. i was reading this topic and it suddenly dawned on me na ito n lang bday gift ko kay bf. meron po ba na package na kasama swimming and dive na din? i am really not familiar with your shortcuts like DSD. need your help mga sis. i can swim but i know for sure that BF doesn't.

@zaki: how long did it take you to finish he whole course plus the dive? do we need to have our own equipment ba?

badly need your advice sisses sept na kasi bady niya eh. i want his dbay to be memorable hes meeting the BIG 3 0 na kasi. hehe

school ba yon? hehe.. actually you only need to find a resort na may affiliated na scuba diving instructor.... gusto niyo dun na lang sa instructor namin?

personally kasi namahalan ako sa ARC.. well sumptuous food, pero dun sa dive camp namin mas nakatipid kami kasi we brought our own food tapos we cook na lang...

hmmm ano pa ba.... sis zaki.. para magkagroup tayo! hehe.. exciting ang fun dives nito..
