summer activities for your infants/ toddlers

It's really good to expose our babies with different activities. I am planning to enroll my baby in a swimming class. He's only 3months, I researched na as young as 6 months meron program for swimming. Might enroll him when he's 6 mons na. Any suggestions pa ng ibang activities?

^Hi sis yes as early as 6 months google na lang sis lozada they have different programs depends sa age ni baby

6 months to 2 years pre-swimming class with the parent in the water. Games, songs, and structured activities help build water confidence, teach buoyancy, free float, and holding on the wall with parent's assistance.

I also want to enroll my toddlers in swimming class.  I'll check out Lozada.  I hope meron near our place.

When my boys are older, I plan to send them to Futbol Funatics (soccer) and basketball, tennis and baseball classes - depends on what they want.

edited to add: may iba pa ba na ice skating rink aside sa MOA? Mas gusto nya raw ito pero try pa rin nya ballet since mas accesible sa amin ang location

I have read somewhere that babies that young can get ear infections (high probability) from swimming pools, not to mention the swallowed water pag naparami can be toxic for babies (it dilutes the blood something to that effect, got it from "what to expect the 1st year), and also baka makasama if babies that young are exposed to chlorinated water pool.

^ Our pedia also cautioned us against enrolling my kids too early in swimming class because of the likelihood of getting an ear infection.

ooohh really? Nako thanks for warning me. My cousin's son kasi nag swimming lesson before, okay naman siya. Nothing bad happened. but thanks mommies for warning me ah!

i also plan to enroll my 22-month old daughter sa swimming lessons. we've been spending time in the pool every weekend lately and she's pretty comfortable in the water. Too comfortable that it makes me uncomfortable - she would often try to escape from me, wade on her own and try to "swim" towards the deep end.

My husband doesn't want my kids to take swimming lessons this summer.  Futbol funatics, on the other hand, requires kids to be at least 3 years old.

I have to create a diversion because my kids' yaya is leaving this month (for good) and my kids are so attached to her. 

I'm thinking of taking them to Museo Pambata, Ark Avilon, Ocean Adventure and Manila Ocean Park this summer. I desperately need to find amusement para hindi sila ma-sad masyado sa departure ni yaya.
