mga sissies, my OB said the vaccine is best before maging sexually active. That if you have the virus already useless yung vaccine, still hindi 100% na protected from cervical cancer only a few strains lang kasi ang ne pprevent ng available vaccine today. Regular paps is a must to monitor if there are changes.

mga sis may marecommend po ba kayong ob near sm molino o alabang.. gusto ko din sanang magpa vaccine e. yung last ob na natanong ko e nasa 5k yung price. yun ata yung meron na for the prevention of genital warts. im really worried na din kasi i had my 1st papsmear then meron akong inflammation , need mag antibiotic for a week.

Had my gardasil shots 3 years ago. Chose it because my ob-endo said it's better.

I think every woman should have it. What is 15k or less compared to cancer right?

I had 3 shots of Gardasil last year which costs 4k from my OB. After a week of my last shot, dun ko nalaman na preggy pala ako. Before that i was told by my OB na wag na wag daw akong magbubuntis, after 3 months pa daw after my last shot. I was 6weeks preggy when I bleed and I lost our first baby. I dont know if this is the effect of the vaccine or nagkataon lang. I made research about being pregnant after taking the vaccine but so far wala naman akong nabasang namiscarriage dahil dun. They also had safe deliveries pa nga. Oh well nagkataon lang siguro yung akin.

^ sa OB ko, 3k/shot ang Gardasil. Kakatapos ko lang nung 3rd shot last January. Wag daw muna magbuntis within a year. Which is sakto lang kasi kakapanganak ko last year, CS. So wala pa din talaga plano magbuntis ulit soon..

Sis bagaholic_chewy, sino OB mo? Which location? Sana sa may bandang Medical City or St. Luke's Taguig lang para malapit. Is she "cool"? I had an OB-GYN kasi who berated me & said na sana di raw gawin ng daughters nya yung ginawa ko after learning my sexual history which I disclosed since magiging doctor ko siya & as part of history taking & assessment. So that was my 1st & last consultation with her. Di ko na binalikan result ng Pap Smear ko. X﹏X

hi mga sis, my mom in law just got diagnosed with cervical cancer yesterday. so far we dont know the stage yet pero sobra natakot ako. i wanna to ask about the vaccince like how much is it and ilan ba need to protect myself? anyone who did it in las pinas area?

Im a newbie in this thread. We learned that my mom in law has cervical cancer and she is due for biopsy tomorrow to determine the stage of the cancer. I will backread all the post here so i will know more about this illness and post if ever i have questions. Thank you in advance mga sis sa help.

nag avail kami nito sa office ng kuya ko before but we werent able to get the 3rd/last shot kasi may flu ako that time and sister ko naman kakagaling lang sa opera. is it still effective or need na namin magstart ulit from 0?
