^try checking sa amazon or ebay sis. search mo lang, lilitaw yun ;)

hi sisses! nagpabili na ako ng palmer's products. i read that cocoa butter with vitamin E daw is good for fighting stretchies, kaso sana nasimulan even before lumaki yung tummy  :( so maghahabol na lang ako at may stretchies na ako sa tagiliran ng balakang ko. both sides  :'(

plain cocoa butter or shea butter or whatever moisturizing products are good daw, pero for stretchies, better daw with vitamin E incorporated eh.

lotions, creams and oil might not guarantee na hindi magkakastretchies, pero they help.

nung nalaman kong preggy ako I was in US , hayun nakabili ako sa Target @ 19.00 each.
naglalagay na ako now , im almost 3 months preggy... hinahalo ko sa lotion ng St Ives, kasi di ko masyado type ang amoy ng bio oil, tapos medyo sticky pa. pero sana nga iwas stretchies.

with my first pregnancy I put regular cocoa butter on my tummy everyday, twice a day.  ayun wala naman stretchmarks e prone pa naman ako (and my family) sa stretchmarks kasi kahit di pa ako preggy meron sa likod ng legs ko.  Yun nga lang I forgot to put cocoa butter on other parts like my butt and sides kaya dun nagkaron although slight lang.

Now , ever since I knew I was pregnant again, I started putting cocoa butter na.  And I put it all over even on my bust area, thighs, back, tummy.  I also use Mothercare's Stretchmark Oil (less than P400 lang) right after my bath followed by the cocoa butter.  Siguro di na ako magka stretchmarks kasi super layers na nilalagay ko of different products.  I also put pala J&J Cornstarch powder bec. it still feels itchy at times.  So far no marks on my 25th week (e ang laki ko na!).

according to my doc, stretchmarks depends on your skin type.  kya w hen i got pregnant a year ago, i did not even bought any expensive lotion like palmers. kase i have 2 friends who both used palmers, the other 1 got strech mark, the other 1 wala..

what i just did, even before i got pregnant, i put lotion on my tummy area  and the lower part of my butt. i moisturized my tummy kc feeling ko, kapag dry [textspeak!] skin mo and pag lumaki tummy mo, dun nagkakastretch mark.  and im happy wala ako stretch marks. btw [textspeak!] mom ko, [textspeak!] din, pero my younger sister who got pregnant ahead of, have stretchmarks.

so siguro depende sa skin type and the only best thing is to moisturize those areas na lalaki

I used Palmer's cocoa butter regularly during my first pregnancy as well (3 years ago) and didn't get any stretchmarks..... until after I gave birth. After you give birth kasi, your tummy suddenly shrinks from a 9-month tummy to a smaller one (kinda like a 5-6 months size pregnant tummy), and this is the time most women get stretchmarks. Kinda like how people who are chubby lose a huge amount of weight - they usually get stretchmarks.

I'm happy though that the marks are very minimal, only a little bit on the sides of my tummy, and they've faded and whitened, and they're not really noticeable unless you look very very closely. I still wear a bikini and no one notices the marks. :)

This time around (my second pregnancy), I'm using Bella B Tummy Honey butter... it has great reviews at Amazon.com, so decided to try it. It has a great smell as well. And though I'm not really sure it can really prevent stretchmarks, it might help to lessen the effect of the stretching, and moisture is always good for your tummy, so I've started putting it in my 3rd month and will continue till right before giving birth.

i think any lotion will do. as long as you put lotion before pa lumaki ang nyan niyo. because one's magstretch na siya and dry ang skin mo, dun magkakastretch mark.

if certain lotion is effective, bakit meron pa din nagakakaron ng stretchmark kahit sila gumamit non. so dahil talaga sa skin type and if too late na and malaki na tiyan mo before ka magapply ng lotion.

even after i gave birth [textspeak!] ako stretch mark, ordinary lotion lang gamit ko. after i take bath and before i sleep at night.  and even after i gave birth, naglalagay padin ako. kase may nagsabi sakin na minsan lumalabas stretch mark after mo manganak. so i moisturize that area :)

^sis, nung nakakita ako ng stretchies saken, lotion sabay dasal ang gawa ko lol!!

mga sis na gumagamit ng palmer's: WHICH one do you use? Lahat ng items below are Palmer's Cocoa Butter Formula

-TUMMY BUTTER for Stretch Marks (yung nasa round, short tub with tin cover)
-Massage LOTION for Stretch Marks w/ Vit E. Collagen Elastin & Shea Butter
-Massage CREAM for Stretch Marks with Vit E. Collagen and Elastin (Concentrated Cream)
-MOISTURIZING BODY OIL with Vit. E (parang lagyanan ng johnson's baby shampoo)
-Palmer's Cocoa Butter Formula w/ Vit E (Heal and Softens Rough Dry Skin)
-Palmer's Cocoa Butter Formula na CREAM (same as above yung title lol pero butter/cream form sya not lotion. in small plastic tub not pump/tube)
