You're welcome sis karmark16! We booked Fernbrook sa bridal fair, may discount sila pag sa fair ka ng book (we got 30%). You can go on ocular naman para talaga ma-feel mo yung place then wait for the next bridal fair and check out their packages (if hindi ka naman nagmamadali to book); if merong date ng bridal fair na malapit na, they usually give out tickets for free entrance, take advantage of it na. Yup, ganda ng chapel 'no? Very intimate Dun na din yung wedding ceremony namen, para 1 place na lang sa'men both for ceremony and reception, hehe.

Hi sis eternalpink! wow parehas pala tayo sa Fernbrook. kelan wedding mo? buti ka pa nakabook na kami kasi ni h2b baka this October pa kami magocular and book at the same time. sana may maabutan kaming Bridal Fair para makamura laking bagay din ng 30% ah lalo na sa rate nila, mataas talaga, sabi ng coordinator ko aabot kami ng 200k venue p lang wala pang caterer so all in all mga 350k pag kasama ang food. nakakaiyak ang gastos. Pero ayon nga sa mama ko once in a lifetime lang naman so all the way na kami ni h2b. prob lang naman is pag venue lang wala pang amenities so iiisipin pa namin ang bridal car, hotel preps, stylist ng venue etc. Salamat talaga sa mga tips sis ah.
Welcome sis! Paying it forward lang dahil super dami ng soon-to-be brides din here in GT ang nakakatulong sa'kin. November 12 kame this year (11.12.13, hehe). Medyo malaki nga kase kame venue lang yung Fernbrook. Pero if you get a good deal sa caterer medyo madami din mababawas na ibang items on your list. With ours kase (Hizon's) may kasama nang cake, photobooth, emcee, invitations, reception setup & of course, yung food. If hindi pa kayo makakuwi, google google na lang siguro muna or YouTube din yung Fernbrook para makita mo ng "live", hehe! For our setup kase since personally I think maganda na ang ambience ng Fernbrook, hindi ko na super ipapabongga yung setup with Hizon's nung hall; feeling ko madadala din sa caterer yung feel nung reception.
^Super exciting sis, hehe! Can't really say kung mas mura, may kaniya kaniya kaseng pros & cons. I'm so happy lang na sinwerte kame sa Hizon's kase dami ng included sa package so medyo nabawasan yung kailangan kong i-source na suppliers.
@sis eternalpink, Thanks for your reply. Yes, may corkage fee na Php5,600. We inquired na sa both accredited nila. Both gave us a quotation for more than Php40K. Masyado na kasi kami over sa budget as in over kami ng 50% kaya eto tipid mode na. Yung ceremony naman din kasi namin is I think is the last ceremony of the day and our wedding is on Thursday. I think hindi na yun masyado busy and complicated for outside florist. For sure, I can get an outside florist for maybe 40% cheaper (including corkage fee) then, we put the extra money somewhere else. I'm just wondering if someone has done this before. I want to know is this is feasible.@Sis Mafee, We just booked Fernbrook a little over a month ago. We did consider getting a package from them (All in). Fernbrook is really gorgeous (though we haven't seen it personally yet) It is perfect for us! Since we are really looking for something classy and convenient. Given that the chapel is right there too. (This is based on our research and personal opinion only. Others may have a unique situation/experiences) Here's the tricky part: Since this place is not cheap at all, we opted to get their package too. Thinking that maybe in that way we get most out of our money. Also, aside from just getting their all in package. (This is personal need for us) I want to have all the premium & upgrades from each suppliers. But that's not going to happen if you're getting one of their packages. What you will get from the packages are all basic services from each suppliers. You will need to upgrade on each supplier to get more perks that means extra fee. But if you are not OC & maarte like me, Basic services will do and for sure you will still have a beautiful wedding.Saying this, we end up getting only the venue rental. We still think that we got a good deal out of this. We we're able to negotiate to each supplier to give us their premium package. We did have a spreadsheet comparing the price of all in package plus upgrade through Fernbrook VS Venue rent only plus individual supplier. The final cost is almost the same but at least through the venue only we think we got a better deal from each supplier. Ex: With Photo & Video, Through the package it's only basic coverage and if we upgrade to get the premium service we will end up spending around Php200k. Since we negotiate with the photo&video separately, we got their premium service with free upgrades on everything (HD, Pre-nup, senior photographer, Blu-ray etc.) Total cost of that is 35% cheaper.Also, They only offer 30% off during non-peak season. So, if you're planning a wedding during non peak season, you are most likely to get that but if like us (December) they only offered us 15%. Also, If you really want to get Fernbrook, waiting for 15-30% discount may not be worth it. We tried to wait and lost our original date. They get book so fast, just get them if you really love them. Yes, your friend or relatives can represent you. Hope this helps.
