@sis paramore11: thank you very much sa reply! confused kasi ako if i go for fernbrook or not.. yung basic ba lahat eh ok na? i mean good quality na? and if basic ba kukuhain ko kasama pa din yung pag style ng caterer sa event?  if place lang kukuhain ko then caterer is separate? mas ok kaya yun? yung 500K ba sis eh all in yun? kasama na gowns and everything? pwede bang send mo sakin mga suppliers mo and also yung amount? i want to weigh kasi muna if kaya talaga namin.. august 10 yung visit ko sa place na.. im also an overseas bride kasi.. September 2013 Fernbrook bride here. We only got Fernbrook as our venue because I want a separate church for our ceremony and we have other non-negotiable suppliers.

As for the worry-free package, if I remember it correctly, inclusive lang dun ang venue, P/V, L/S, caterer, florist, OTD coordinator. I'm sure di kasama sa package yung gowns  I'll PM you their rates as of May 2012 once I get hold of my copy.

Sis diane03, naku sorry for misunderstanding your question. Hehe.

I think kaya naman ang 500K especially kung yung worry-free package yung kukunin mo sa kanila.  Kung venue rental lang naman, I think kaya pa din. Ilan ba ang guests mo, if I may ask? Saka ano yung mga priorities ninyo? Kasi kami, non-negotiable ang caterer kaya kahit may corkage fee, we got our preferred caterer. Though ngayon medyo sumobra (sumusobra!) na kami sa 500K When we booked them last May, I got a free overnight stay sa isang suite room sa Vivere hotel as a freebie tapos yung mga complimentary amenities na nila.I tried to have the VAT and SC waived pero sadly, di pumayag. Maski yung sa corkage fee, di rin namin napawaive yung extra charges. From what I've read dito, I think may discount nga if you pay them na in full pero wala naman na-mention yung AE namin about this (at kung meron man, baka di namin carry  kaya 50% na muna.)

nag upgrade pa ba kayo like lights and sound? Im planning to have PC as my caterer kasi.. how much yung corkage fee kaya? parang lalampas nga sa 500K if i will go for fernbrook.. think.. think.. think.. PM mo naman sakin suppliers mo and their price so i can have idea din and check if kaya ng budget or not.. Thanks a lot sis!

Hello sisses! Who among you had or would have their prenup at Fernbrook? Just want to ask kung tama lang ba ang 4-5 hours na shoot? I'll have my prenup there kasi this september, I just found out na 5 hours lang pala ang i-a-alot na time for prenup? Kaya ba yun? Hindi ba bitin?

Another thing, meron ba kayo alam na cheap hotel or inn near the area? Kasi yung hair and make-up ko for the prenup would take 2 hours. Gusto ko sana sa Fernbrook room na rin mag ayos kaso if 2 hours would be alloted for hmu, baka kulangin ang oras sa prenup shoot.

when i had my prenup in fernbrook (2x hehe) di ako nilimit ng hours actually wala sa akin sinabi ilang hours lang allowed. and i dont think hmua will be 2 hrs kasi prenup lang nman yun. malayo hotels to fernbrook ( Acacia, Vivere, Bellevue) are located in Alabang and added gastos yun for you.

Dont fret kasi di naman sila ganun kahigpit esp if weekday prenup

Ha? Talaga? Yun kasi ang sinabi sakin. Actually, sa Fernwood talaga ang wedding venue namin. Yun lang, free prenup daw kami sa Fernbrook. Kaya sa Fernbrook kami magp-prenup. Tapos sabi 5 hours lang daw. Hay! Kelan ka nag prenup sa Fernbrook? I'm thinking baka nagbago na sila ng policy on prenup kaya nilagyan ng limit ang oras. Sana payagan na kami ng more than 5 hours. Nag check nga ako ng malalapit na hotel dun, oo tama ka yun lang ang nearest to the location, and medyo beyond our budget. Hay sige, I'll try to figure out ano pa pwedeng gawin. Thanks sis.

hi! recently got engaged.. no date yet but we're hoping 'ber' months of 2013..  kaya we're trying to get started na po sana with ideas/preps since my fiance and i are both out of the country.

our first choice for venue is fernbrook.. we already got their august rates/packages.. hope you can share your feedback/experience on their accredited suppliers (sayang din kase yung corkage if non-accredited). hope you can help us..  thanks in advance! god bless and best wishes!

I'll check it with them kung kelan walang event para mapayagan kami the whole day. Ang isa pa kasi prob ko, ang nagko-communicate samin is yung coordinator ng Fernwood. Yung sa Fernbrook, kapag nag sesend ako ng inquiry, hindi sumasagot. Until now wala pa rin reply, naka ilang message na ko, sa email and text.
Hoping maayos na, sa sept 17 na kasi ang prenup ko..


Anyways, mga sis, may alam ba kayo ma-re-rent na mga gothic-medieval outfits? Kailangan sana namin for the prenup. Thanks

kaso morning function yung event namin.. Victorian 1..
ang worry ko lang is yung lights? do i still need to get yung upgrade ng aljoe mix?
nag email ako sa kanila to ask if pwede sana gawin dim effect yung venue kahit morning yung reception.. ours kasi eh 11am-2pm.. kaso sabi nila di daw pwede gamitin yung mood lights..
although according to our AE eh pwede ON lahat ng hanging lights there.. pero mas feel ko sana pag may mood lights.. ayaw ko na sana mag change to PM function kasi double yung price nya..

Hope yung mga fernbrook brides (AM function) can share the experiences about the lights.. and if no need to upgrade na ba eh ok pa din yung venue?

^Evening yung reception namin pero in my opinion, di na kailangan talaga ang mood lights kapag morning (11am-2pm). Parang di rin siya magandang tingnan kapag may mood lights kasi glass yung windows/rooftop ng mga venues nila so natural light will really go in. I have attended naman morning weddings there na wala ng mood lights, okay pa rin and elegant yung place.

AE from Fernbrook sent me their rates, and as of this year, they have a corkage of 33,600 for non accredited supplier. Di ko naman malet go ang want ko na maging PC bride... huhuhu. I Just hope that by 2014, PC is already accredited by Fernbrook Gardens. Ang mahal magpakasal.. Waaaahh...

We just booked Fernbrook for Aug 17, 2013. WHEW! This is it, pwede na akong magpost dito. hihi.

^sis I agree, SUPER MAHAL MAGPAKASAL!  sabi ko nga kay h2b eh, pacivil na lang kame! hehe. Pero sabi naman niya, he wants to give me daw my dream wedding. kaya eto, kayod! hihi.


So far, our AE, Nica, has been kind enough to let us book now then choose the package later, since they will be coming up DAW with a new package for September. For our date, we booked the final venue na sa Byzantine 2 naman kame. Chapel at 1:30 PM.

my question now sissies, yung sa florist ba sa chapel eh kasama na ang bridal and ento bouquets? hindi ko masyado type [textspeak!] designs ng accredited florist pero baka naman pwede nila gawin using the flowers na gusto ko. hehe. TIA

Hi sis, sorry to burst your bubble pero ang balita sa akin ni Maja ay Fernbrook is planning daw not to have any more accredited caterers. Akala ko good news nung una yun pala, bad news daw yun kasi kahit sinong caterer ang kunin mo, may corkage fee na.

^ay ganun ba sis? haha! di ko pa kasi nakausap yung florist kaya no idea pako, pero so far kasi sa websites nila eh hindi ko masyadong type. sobrang colorful kase! gusto ko sana like 1 color scheme lang or pure white lang para magpop yung colors sa ento ko. hehe! thanks for the help sis!

Sabi ko naman kasi either of the two lang, ngayon, mangangarag na lang ako sa paghope for a good venue in tagaytay. Sorry, medyo off topic na ata ito.

Ang bigat kasi ng corkage ng fernbrook, pati sa ibang suppliers!! Ginto!! Huhuhu

^i agree super ganda ng tagaytay, kaso not practical for us, kasi we have a lot of out of town guests who'd be flying in pa from the province and outside pinas kaya ayun baka madoble gastos pa kame. hihi. Fernbrook is gonna give us that garden feel pero at least within the metro parin  

anyway, i just got the email from our AE re new packages. When we computed ni h2b, parang mas mahal pa ang labas ng packages kesa sa venue rental only. May floating na 20k kasi dun sa all in package nila same with nung August rates compare sa pag kukunin mo ng venue rental only plus amenities. tama ba ako? just wanted to know if gumawa kayo ng comparison ng mga packages.

Sis muy: Naisip din namin ang Tagaytay kaso OOT fees naman ang magiging problem namin, not to mention, baka malayuan ang mga oldies. Di naman lahat ng suppliers may corkage fee pag sa Fernbrook. Yung mga accredited suppliers naman nila ay okay din so you can avoid paying the corkage fee if you choose from them. Pero I have to agree, hirap nga i-let go ni Passion Cooks.

Sis mommybunny: Naku, we didn't bother to compare na kasi yung package vs. venue rental only. Gusto ko kasi ng more flexibility in choosing our suppliers, #1 dito yung church so we only got the venue.

^Hahaha! Ang toxic mo sis! Punta kami sa Sunday to book Hearts and Bells and tingin ng invitation suppliers. We got Passion Cooks (pikit-mata na lang sa corkage fee! ) but KbyCunanan was our top choice dun sa mga accredited caterers ng Fernbrook (okay both ang food and styling). I attended a Fernbrook wedding kasi before na Hizons ang caterer and so-so lang ang food at ang ginawang styling. Mas na-impress ako sa KbyC. Go for Fernbrook na rin!
