give me some feedback on fernbrook gardens.... is it really a gorgeous wedding location? mern na ba nakaexperience first hand ng fernbrook  wedding?

sis ok yung place. if you want, visit the place. almost everyday merong wedding dun, near the place kasi kami nakatira kaya nakikita naming along the way.

If i'm correct i think fernwood is air-condiotioned while fernrook is not.

hi sis.. we had a wedding last jan 10 sa fernbrook. The place is nice. They have a lot of venues to choose from wag lang yun sa baba kasi parang di OK for me. kasi low ceiling unlike yun mga nasa taas na talagang high ceiling with matching vines pa.. though if to compre ha i've seen din kasi ang glass garden in marikina. the set up and ambience is almost the same. yun fernbrook kasi to compare with fernwood mas mahalaman ang fernwood unlike the fernbrook. though syempre mas mahal ang fernbrook over the two venues i mentioned because maganda nga naman ang mismo place.. me bangka bangka effect pa at the church is OK pero mainit nun time namin kasi 3pm ang wedding kahit me aircon kasi parang glass na malabo ang bubong tumatagos ang init..

pag pictorial the best ka kasi ang dami pwede areas for pictorial. sa venue mismo yun sa pang reception.. the same with glass garden..

medyo malayo lang ang room mo for prep mga around 15 mins from alabang town proper ang mga hotels na meron.

If noise naman. nagkataon kasi wala kami kasabayan event sa katabing venue. yun ka across na venue ang meron di naman nagkakarinigan unlike ng fernwood daw.

OK naman yun mga AE's nila.  sa church lang yun coordinator mo ang mas aasist sa procession ng entourage.

@mistiqshannen, thanks for sharing. Na-excite naman ako. Sige i would try to book the upper venues. Mas mura yung colonial pero sa basement siya.... nwey, natawa naman ako sa bangka bangka effect.. yeah, they have their own gondola...

I think they're having a promo.... go to their website.. regular rates are as follows:
VENUE RATES
colonial venue ( capacity:150 pax) - 150,000
victorian 1, byzantine 1 and byzantine 2  ( capacity:200 pax) - 165,000
victorian 2 (capacity:350 pax) - 185,000

this includes 2 amenities of your choice: bridal car, dance panel, photobooth or skylanterns
plus free a/c and 150 pieces of maps

oh i think you have to add 12%VAT on top of that... i guess they can give you a better rate if you pay in full instead of two installments

sis hunhun01, we had our wedding reception sa fernbrook last december and i can say, sobrang worth it talaga yung bayad namin. tsaka lahat ata ng sulok dito ok for pictorial. the place is so beautiful, morning or evening. never kaming nagkaproblema dito since nung nabook namin sila. pero ang mahal na niya ngayon ha. when we first heard about them kase back in 2008, yung rate nila 65k lang, imagine after 2 years, laki na ng markup. sabagay, gumaganda pa ng gumaganda yung place eh.

hi! im a fernbrook bride... my wedding will be on may 12, 2010, lapit na... fernbrook is very nice lalo na sa gabi. with matching  lights effect and ang dami nilang add ons effects like yung gondola, dance panel, horse carriage, etc.. mahal nga lang but i think its worth the price.. that's my dream wedding place kasi e..

sa prep, ano ba mas malapit, vivere or bellevue?

the same lang halos magkalapit lang. maganda din ang vivere masikip lang yun one bedroom suite lalo if madami tao mag aayos sa room. pero ok lang carry naman. havent seen bellevue pa e yun mga kasama ko nakapasok dun.

nkabook din po ako dito sa fernbrook! Oct this year na ang wedding at sobrang kabado na ako. kaya lang masyado ako napamahal kasi ang available nalang na venue dito ay Victorian 2 na pang 350 pax. eh 150 lang guests ko. anyway, ok na yun! gusto ko kasi talaga dito eh.. kaso medyo mahigpit sila, kasi gusto ko talagang irelease ay butterflies instead of doves pero PROHIBITED daw. tapos meron din silang piling accredited caterers. hayz basta dami pa. pero mukhang sulit na sulit naman dito!!!

sis bratchiq congrats! you will definitely love fernbrook. Madami kasi halaman kaya bawal ang butterflies. its the same rule sa fernwood.
hiozn and josiah ata are accredited caterers just check them out.
im not if si eloquente accredited..

Hi everyone!

Fernbrook's also our target wedding venue, although it's an hour away from where we're located, (Marikina and Quezon City) hindi na kami nagdawalang-isip when we visited the place. The only dilemma I have right now is January 15th @ 6pm na lang available na time for January weekends. Then yung bridal room na lang na available is the smallest one, since napagpilian na. We had it pencil-booked na, they're just waiting for our confirmation.

Question for those in the know: Hindi ba magiging crowded yung place kung occupied lahat ng venue hall nila? And is 6pm too late na for a wedding mass?

The room kasi for prep is too small if you will be having your entourage change and have their hair and make up fix there sobrang crowded wala na kayo space for pictorial. unless pagkatapos ng maayosan e punta sila sa sala na walang aircon ang init grabe!

dont also invite ninangs and relatives to come sa prep sobra na kayo crowded pag ganun.

yun prep room nila down stairs near the chapel walang kama dun pano ka magpictorial if ever. as in room lang wala na. i still suggest to get a suite from a hotel.

it may become crowded also pag all halls e me wedding. unless lahat ng visitors naman e nasa loob ng hall at iilan lang lumalabas labas.

Hi sis mistiqshannen! Thanks so much for the reply. It's Fernbrook I'm referring to. It's an hour drive from our place without the traffic. Fernwood is near our place lang pero I find it too small for 350++ guests. Sabi din ni Ms Malyn of Fernwood, it will be a bit crowded nga daw. Macocrompomise na yung dance floor. Maganda na sana sa Fernwood. Maganda din yung atmosphere ng Chapel, yun nga lang maliit talaga yung reception hall. Ang hirap  mag-plan!!
