^i already posted this on the all about pores thread... i'll just post here for info ;)

regular exfoliation can create glowing, smooth skin, but if you exfoliate too much, your skin can be damaged.

on application - less is more. only a small amount will do ;) if you take a large amount, it will just grind against itself more than your skin... don't forget to apply a layer of moisturizer to keep your skin healthy/supple.

general rule, coarse scrubs (extremely grainy) should be used no more than once a week. salt scrubs tend to be the most coarse, while sugar and plant fiber scrubs are much gentler.

Normal Skin – can be exfoliated about three times a week. any type of facial scrub or masks will do

Oily Skin – don't exfoliate more than twice a week. clay mask or scrubs that contains salicylic acid is recommended.

Sensitive Skin – once a week will do and you will need a very gentle exfoliant that contains natural ingredients such as rice powder and oatmeal

Dry Skin – exfoliate at least twice a week. since skin lacks in sebum/oil... in order for the exfoliation to work, a stronger exfoliant is needed - such as glycolic acid, alpha hydroxyl acids (aha).

Acne Skin Type – scrubs with salicylic acid (kills bacteria) or clay mask is recommended.

newbie here , reader lang talaga ako

st. Ives ang isa sa love kong products. I also use their lotion the one yung meron oats and shea ang lambot at hindi greasy sa skin mura pa. I also use their facial wash which is the gentle one the sensitive line. Matagal ko ng gamit at maganda naman sa skin since hindi naman ako nagkakapimples hindi naman kasi ako prone . Nag sale siya sa watsons kaya i bought many oats and shea lotion haha
