I see.. I'm pretty sure may mga Psychologist din na nagttreat ng depression base sa mga previous post dito na nabasa ko..
Ganun din ako ngayon Sis.. Napaka nega ko na and I am so pessimistic and I avoid people most of the time.. I hope bumalik yung dating energy mo and yung pagiging masayahin.. I'm sure you can do it..

Gusto ko mag patingin kaso nahihiya ako, kinakabahan and my hands are getting sweaty. Baka kasi mamaya tawanan lang ako at sabhin sakin n wala lang tong nararamdaman ko.
Naexperience ko kasi na as wala akong gana kumilos, as in nakahiga lang ako mag hapon. Ang mahirap, may 2 anak akong lalake, isang 9y at isang 3y. Yung panganay ko natuto siya at his age na mag saing mag-isa dahil hindi ko sila maasikaso. Siya din nag babantay sa kapatid niya after school. Hindi ko maintindihan pakiramdam ko, knowing na hindi pa dapat ginagawa yun ng isang 9y. Na dapat ako nag aasikaso sakanila. Sobra akong nag woworry,pero wala naman akong magawa or wala naman akong ginagawa para maasikaso sila. Parang pagod lagi pakiramdam ko kahit wala naman akong ginagawa. Minsan halos 1week wala akong ligo.
Hindi ko na alam gagawin ko.

Same tayo ng sentiments before, when I was contemplating of going to a psychiatrist. Na kesyo baka sabihin lang ng doctor na exercise and sunlight lang kailangan ko para sa nararamdaman ko, or nag-iinarte lang ako. I mean kung yun lang, sayang din ang consultation fee bilang hindi naman kinocover ng insurance ko ang mga mental health issues.  Pero the moment I went there and tell my stories sa mga pinagdadaanan ko, I was wrong. My doctor found out that I have dysthymia. It is a form of mild depression pero long-term and chronic. Yes, nakakafunction naman ako everyday, nakakapagwork ako pero there is something heavy that affects how I perceive things. Kaya I would really encourage you to consult a specialist. I am hoping that you would feel better. No matter how big or small the things that you're experiencing, if it's causing you stress, seek help na and not wait na maging full-blown emotional breakdown sya.

First consultation is around 2500-3500/hr. Succeeding consultation is 2000-3000/hr. I can PM you their contact information if you're interested.

a schoolmate of mine actually tried sa National Mental Hospital sa Mandaluyong. Okay naman daw tapos super mura around 600 lang and now meron narin siyang pwd card. Kaso yun lang they are only open on weekdays which is kinda hard for me to  leave work.  Contemplating if I shall go with her when she visits.

Natry ko na rin dun sis! kaya lang medyo mainit talaga. Kaya medyo nag opt na lang ako na mag private na di gaano kamahalan, minsan pagdating ko ako lang talaga patient. Bago lang yung clinic nila Prescription Psychiatrists and Psychologists sa centuria medical makati. maganda yung vibe, maganda yung service, babalik ako dun for my CBT next week. Crossing my finger.

Ahh okay sis thanks for the correction.  Pero yung consultation area ba is airconditioned? parang hirap naman mag focus pag tumutulo ang pawis mo. Also, per appointment ba sila or pila lang? And around what time kayo pumunta?

Update guys:

I think my last post was made during a manic episode LOL.

So I went to that new Psych clinic at Centuria Medical Makati, the staff are very nice and accommodating. I met with a Psychologist this time as I was advised by the doctor to pair my meds with talk therapy.  I am now doing that. I wish that we are more educated at school about mental health. We Filipinos tend to bottle our feelings and sometimes it bites us back. I am doing better now, but I was told that the meds may take a while to take effect.
