The counsellor can help you sort out your issues.
But the psychiatrist can give you meds.
Going to either 1 is nothing to be ashamed of. 

When a person is burdened, confused or too hurt to think clearly (even a genius  can be temporarily floored by heartbreak/betrayal/disappointment/death of a loved one)  -- better to go to someone who is competent AND non-judgmental and does not know you from Adam.   For although your family/friends love you dearly... well, they have this image of you or are not that competent -- so you can't reallly get objective assistance.

ROSE YENKO for me is 1 of the best counsellors.
She charges P2thou per 1hour session.
If there is anybody here who needs assistance with regards to her PF -- PM me.

As for psychiatrists --  Dr Rondain is good.
But the best is really Dr Jercyl Demeterio (she charges P1500 per 30min session). 

Again, PM me if there are problems with the PF.

i actually doesn't know what is wrong with me. i don't know if talking to somebody will help but i have been thinking about it. i can't say i'm completely depressed coz i don't necessarily have to "drag" myself around. i do feel bitter, angry and not quite satisfied with my life. could this be midlife crisis?

i'm considering going to cefam as they're technically free, you just need to give a donation. especially as i recently found out that they have a satellite office here at don bosco parish. parang destiny coz it's been in my mind to look for somebody to talk to recently and out of nowhere that information gets to me.

i don't know what's stopping me though. maybe i'm scared to find out what's causing all these.

^ for me my doctor gave me medication for something like that and it did really help me improve my daily routine. You need to be all out ( laki budget) for this coz I remember my medicines would cost like 60-180 a pc. My doctor is 1500 per session and I had to see her weekly for 2 mos. I gues it depends on your condition naman.

mga sis, need advice..when bf gets drunk kasi nag-iiba yung personality nya, parang dr jeckyll & mr hyde. pag lasing parang laging naghahanap ng away. although hindi naman ako yung inaaway, pero like if in a bar, nagpprovoke ng ibang tao kahit di nya kilala. then pag nawala na yung tama, di nya matandaan masyado yung pinaggagagawa nya nung lasing pero apologetic naman sya. sya na rin ang nagtanong sakin if he should go see someone kasi di din nya alam bakit ganun sya. any recommendations on who to see?

amihan07, kung wala namang gamot na kailangan e sa psychologist ka na lang pupunta, o kaya life coach. wala nga lang akong marekomenda ngayon na psychologist o life coach.

Kilala ko sya as a friend so i can vouch she really has high EQ. madaling kausapin. magaling mag-intindi. mahaba ang pasyensya. yun nga lang di pa ako naging pasyente nya. he he he. I don't know her rates. I suppose you can ask the secretary Regine.

last March another friend of mine brought her super-problematic mom to Dr. de Guzman. she texted me later na umaayos na ang buhay nila ngayon.
