Avoid taking your child to malls and crowded places.Instruct all members of the household to wash hands frequently.Keep surroundings clean. Sa house namin, no shoes in the bedroom. Slippers for the bedroom should stay there. We have separate slippers/footwear to wear outdoors. When we come home from work or if we've been out, we change into house clothes and wash hands before we go to our kids' room. Change the clothes of your child often. I don't believe (and doctors agree with me) that there is a connection between natuyuan ng pawis and getting a cold. But we do change the shirt of my kids pag pinagpawisan na sila to make them comfortable.
^ Sis, di ba colds are often caused by a virus and one gets infected through droplets in the air and contact with a carrier. So the natuyuang pawis alone should not cause a cold or a cough. I think though na kapag pawis ang bata, kailangan palitan ng clothes para mas comfortable siya. Proven ko na - my kids are very active and since summer, laging pawis and kahit na I have instructions to the yaya to change their clothes often, I'm certain hindi ito nagagawa 100% or all the time. But still, hindi naman sila inuubo or sinisipon at least during this summer. Actually, it's been almost 6 months since they had a cold. I think nakakatulong kasi na hindi ko nga sila dinadala nga sa crowded places and we wash hands often sa house. That's what I meant.
