do pregnancy kit/test lie??

i'd been delayed for 1 month now...i already done pregnancy test...few days after my missed period,. thats why im very confused right now... any idea ??

hmm..first day of my missed period (feb.7 ) i bought pregnancy kit and after the result is negative .....then i tried again 2 or 3 days  after just  to check if its really negative then again it is still negative...the reason why im confused is that i am delayed until now for almost 1 month...

....grabee...nkakakaba....what should i do?? please help..

No matter how cheap the preg test kit is, it's still quite accurate. You should go to the doctor to have yourself checked. My OB told me before na when you get a negative result on the home PT kit, pwede pang maging positive yan when you use the ones at the hospital kase they're much more sensitive. Pero pag nag-positive na sya sa home PT, there's no denying na.

Pregnancy tests don't lie though depending on the time they're used, their results may not be very reliable

Have you tried taking a test again? because if it's still negative, then you're really not pregnant and your hormones just probably went wacko... or there is something w/  your reproductive system that needs looking into

if it showed positive though... bingo! my last test was done with a P50 kit hubby bought... positive and it was confirmed by ultrasound the following day

^^hahaha same tayo sis. When i bought my PT at watson's, i said na i'll buy the cheapest one na lang so that if it turned out negative at least i didnt spend a lot of money. I doubted pa the result at first kase nga cheapipay lang sya so I went to my OB the same day

sis it has only been almost a month you're delayed so it is possible that your hcg level is not high enough OR baka you're really not preggy.

I tried to take a PT 3 weeks ago, when i was a little over a month delayed. negative siya. when i tried last sunday when i was 2 months and a week late, ayun nag positive. i tried another test and ganun pa din. i'm my ultrasound tom.

I knew that I was pregnant with my baby using PT kit din. But it didn't work with my officemate. She learned she was pregnant with her 3 babies thru blood test.

same here i was also delayed for almost 2 mos. na ang mas malupit pa my last mens. delayed din ako ng 6 mos. pero wala ako na feel na kahit na ano & di rin ako worred kasi wala naman si bf that time but this yr. paguwi nya nung delayed na ko ng 2 mos. naka 4 PT ako knowing na 8weeks preggy na pala, thinking na delayed lang ayun kaya eto 25w preggy na.. pacheckup ka sis to make sure..

this is such an insightful thread. i dint expect na may negative sa test pero pregnant naman, even if they took the test after the missed period na.
its hard lang if ganun kasi baka uminom pa and mag super exercise, pero buntis na pala. i heard the blood test is more accurate.

ako din hindi pa makapaniwala that im pregnant now...nung day 34 ko nag PT ako kase nagka lagnat ako, gusto ko before ako mag take ng medicine sigurado ako na hindi ako pregnant, negative yung result, yung mahal pa ang gamit ko na PT. last saturday, day 49 ko nag PT ako ulet, ang reason ko lang kase plan ko na talaga magpa check up yesterday, syempre tatanong ni OB kung nag PT na ako gusto ko may maisagot ako,at naisip ko mahal ang PT sa kanila  . akala ko negative kase clear yung 1st line, after ko mag wash tinignan ko ulet may 2nd line na pero malabo, then inulit ko ulet nung hapon ganun pa din, weak positive. yesterday nagpa check up na ako, im 5wks and 3 days pregnant, may ges sac na pero wala pa heartbeat...sana magtuloy tuloy na...

tama naman yung result nung nag-test ako. ginamit ko yung medic one step pt from mercury. na-confirm na buntis nga sa tvu.

sept6 first day of mens ko. sept18 unprotected sex. after 3days nagkaroon ng bleeding at alam ko ang sept20 ang ovulation day ko. 28days ang cycle ko. ngayon wala pa din akong menstruation. nahihilo ako, sinisikmura na parang nadidighay, ihi ako ng ihi. in short na-paranoid na ako. today, nagPT ako. i bought blue cross na 55 pesos lang sa watsons, 2 lines faded 'yung isa. nagulat talaga ako at hindi ko na alam gagawin ko. kasi hindi naman kami ni GUY. then i asked my friend kung ano gamit niya before, so bili ako ng medic, negative. Ano ba talaga? alin sa dalawa ang susundin ko? kung mapregnant naman ako, itutuloy ko naman 'to. wala akong paki kung panagutan ni GUY.

A line is a line sis.. Subukan mo ulit after 2-3 days kasi tumataas yung level ng hcg every 2-3 days. Ganyan din sakin nung una faint sya tapos after 2 days malinaw na yung second line.

accurate ang PT. week or say days old pa lang yung panganay ko may nag appear na na 2nd line na although malabo. after 2 wks if i remember it right ob suggested ng transvi.. ayun preggy nga hehe kita na heartbeat
