I'm planning to undergo acupuncture also, for my chronic back pain. I have scoliosis kasi, grabe ang sakit. My friend who has hypertension goes to Health Dev in Ateneo de Manila, in Katipunan. I'll go there din.

Go sis. I have scoliosis, too. Dati, I needed to have a massage every two weeks or more often pa because of my chronic back pain. Since I started acupuncture, hindi ko na kailangan magpa-massage. And I only go once a month for acupuncture at that.

Hi girls! Nagpa acupuncture na ako sa Health Dev sa Ateneo. One session palang, so I can't really say kung effective pero babalik ako for sure. May appointment na ako for ventusa this Friday din. He didn't want to do ventusa kagad kasi sabi nya he wants to know how I react first to acupuncture.

Regarding sa pain, well hindi naman super sakit na parang injection. Although mafefeel mo talaga yung pagpasok ng needle. Ever so slight kurot lang naman. Ang mas mafefeel mo, is the effect of the needle. Bibigat yung limbs mo talaga, at mafefeel mo yung sensation na may rush of blood inside your body. I can't explain it. It's not painful per se, but you do feel something's happening to your body.

Bale I paid 750 for the consultation, plus 200 for the needles kasi si doc used 20 needles (at P10 each). Yung first 10, I was lying on my back tapos may 5 needles on my right arm to my right leg, and  5 needles on my left arm all the way to my left leg. I was just wearing my regular clothes, hindi naman kelangan magpalit. After 15 minutes, pinahiga nya ako on my stomach, and used another 10 needles. This time I was wearing hospital gown (with my jeans) so he can insert needles on my back. I went for my back pain kasi e, so siguro kaya need nya to put needles on my back. I don't know how it is if you're going there for migraine, or insomnia or whatever. Baka no need to change to a hospital gown.

I recommend it guys. I'll be back this friday, and I'll update you guys again.

^thanks sis, now i know hindi naman pala sobrang masakit yung tusok ng karayom. feeling ko kasi maiiyak ako sa sakit kapag nilagay na ang mga karayom, baka kasi malalim yung tusok. anyway, i'll try this kapag nagkatime ako, as of now kasi dami pa ginagawa sa work eh...

I have an acupuncturist in Antipolo, near Blue mountains. Hindi lang bongga yung clinic pero sobra dami ng tao especially on weekends. I heard mga Vip and mga artista pa ibang clients nila. 600-800 yung rates nila mga 1hour yung session. 2-6 needles- electro acupuncture siya kaya mejo masakit at first pero eventually okay naman. after treatment, masarap ang tulog:)

Mga doctors ang tumitingin dun. before the session they will give you blood work up. First session was 600. Tapos succeeding 300. Ewan ko kung nagbago na ang rate nila.

My acupuncturist is from SM Megamall. Since nagstart akong magacupuncture naging ok na ang pakiramdam ko. I have vertigo and diabetes.

laser accu follows the same principles as traditional chinese accupuncture pero ang technology ay french yata. at dahil same principles, expect na the doc will insist in some changes to your diet. para talagang gagaling.
