Hi sis, I'm working in the IT industry and my field is software/programming.. I suggest you finish your degree first. Like here in our company, the requirement must be a bachelor degree holder, I think most the other companies do..
But if you wish talaga to have an IT job while studying, try yung small time companies muna na contract basis lang or be a freelancer..

^Tama po sila sis. Im from an IT industry na rin and na assign sa ibang bansa. Sa requirements, check nila yun course and degree mo. So, hindi lang sa entry level sya maging important. Pati na rin sa pag angat mo and sa opportunities na pwede mo ma grab. I even had an interview with an internal client. I dont have the skill they were looking for but they asked my course in college and concluded that i have the potential to learn the technology. Btw, i was a graduate of computer engineering. So pursue the BS degree.

hi sis, age is not an issue,, for me ha.. kasi I'm a team lead and so far lahat naman ng nihhire ko is di nagmamatter sa akin ang age... yung qualifications ng applicant ako after..
my advice is dapat tuloy tuloy mo yung pagenhance ng skills mo kahit wala ka pa sa company, kasi nagmamatter din yun, tipong atleast updated ka

kailan ka nagapply? kasi ongoing pa yung interview namin sa mga applicants,, baka kaya mo pa humabol..

Im a jr programmer with almost 2 yrs experience sa rpg language but I want to shift to other programming languages (C#, .net, sap, or java) anong company ba magandang pasukan na nag o.offer ng magandang training and compensation? iv'e been wanting to apply to mcquarie, headstrong, Deltek Systems or misys kaso d ko alam san mg.aaply.

^^it's not too late sis. meron pa rin naman companies na nag aaccept ng exprienced IT grads without prior IT related work. yun nga lang, mag start ka as entry level. pero kung yun talaga ang gusto mo diba, it's worth trying. at mabilis kasi mag progress ang career sa IT. i heard nga malaki na rin ang pay ngayon kahit sa mga fresh grads.

^have you tried to search online sis? alam ko ang macquarie at misys sa makati ang office. same with headstrong, pero meron din sila sa alabang.

mga sis, advice naman po, as we all know madaming IT related jobs na in demand na ngayun yun nga lang hindi lahat ay qualified. ano bang IT job titles ang para sa mga fresh grad or those who has less than a year na job experience. mga software engineer ba pwedi sa IT grad or need na may masteral na ? mga ganung scenario. nag prof ako ng IT sa college at shs nito lang last semester.
