Mymom has this transiion glasses - hooooong mahal lang pero maganda talaga. Astig lang. Siya lang ang may afford noon di kaya ng budget ko.

I have a pair of transition glasses since last year. pinagawa ko sa quiapo since my doctor introduced me to her friend na may store sa quiapo. di ko kaya price ng ultrathin aabot ng 10k sa grade and astigmatism ko wala pa frame. un pinili ko umabot ng 10k kasama frame (essilor with authenticity card). Then ng pumunta kami sa guangzhou nagulat ako transition lenses nila wala pa 2000pesos pero brand ng china, nagpagawa kami ni hubby ok naman.

Sa renminzhong road un. Buong building 5storey puro salamin lang binebenta,gaganda ng design may branded din sila eyeglasses pero class A. Nakita ko binebenta dito sa mall 6000 and up eh sa china wala pa 1000 un

Advice: should i get a frame that wouldnt look awkward when it transition as sunglasses outside and vice versa? Im just thinking if i get a pair of eyeglasses talaga lang and it transition outside di kaya mukhang awkward tingnan?  Im thinking like the oakley persuasive eyeglasses or the likes. What do you think guys? Thanks again

I got the Rayban frames para okay din itsura nya when using it outside. Nasayang lang sa akin since I got to use my transition glasses for less than a year lang kasi I had lasik done.

Thanks sis.  They told me nga they have this contact lens tht you will just put at night before you sleep and remove it int he morning for a 20-20 vision if in case i dont like going through eye surgery. Im thinking about it nga rin eh.

I have a pair with Transitions and another one with Transitions XTRactive.  I like the XTRActive because it also has a slight tint even indoors and moderate tint while driving.

When I went to Paterno St. in Quiapo last week, there are two types of transition lenses - one is the Transitions brand which is really expensive (around 5K) and the generic ones (2.5K)

I recently bought a transition lens. Canvassed three different stores.
Their offers were: P2,500 - P5,000 - P5,250.

Thinking of getting transition eyeglasses but my eyes have huge difference in the grades and I wonder if that would have any effect on how thick/thin the lenses are or the darkness of the tint. My left eye is 125 and the right is 375. Has anyone had experienced this?

^wow huge difference. Mine is 425 (right) and 550(left), got no problem with transition thou I always buy mine from china and ordered the thinnest possible kasi pag makapal kita kapag hindi dark lens.

hubby got his transition lens few days ago. it cost 2500 sa ideal. was supposed to get the 5k one but when we checked the time of how fast the transition pag natamaan ng uv ray parang ganon din. sabi din ng opta same gawa ng essilor din. sabi niya so far so good daw. he used his oakley frames na din kaya okay na okay sa kanya.
