Transition Glasses

charmedPrue, mataas ang astigmatism ko so my lenses are made to order.

i paid 21k in total but my swissflex frame pa lang 9k na then my lenses are multi-coated, ultra-thin, transitions, airwear. not sure kung magkano ang portion ng transitions.

mas gusto ko sis yun brown, dont know lang if bagay sa tortoise na color

Hi! I've asked some optical shops regarding the price of transition lens (transitions).. most shops have 4000-4500. But the price still depends on the color shade.. They have two shades: gray and brown. The usual color is gray.. the price increases when you are to use the brown shade (4500-5500). And the price also increases depending on the grade of your lens needed...

As for what I know, the manner of transition depends on the brand... Genric photochromatic lens changes color quite slower than Essilor/Airwear brand.

I'll go for the brown shade....

i had mine two years ago, still wear it now. transition lens (essilor) gray. it really changes pag labas ko ng house.. 8,500 ang price joop frame and transition lens..  i remember 5,500 frame, so 3,000 yung lens.. discounted kasi friend ni hub yung dr..  depende sa tindi ng araw ang pag-iba ng shade. pag tirik ang araw, really dark gray. pag walang araw, mid lang.. indoors, clear sya..

i had my single vision essilor/transition at guadalupe mall for 3,800.
masmura than sa mga opticals sa Sm malls,,
Family eye doctor na kasi namin yun owner ng optical,,its beside Avon shop. ;)fiy lang.

sa akin 2,500 lang sa vision express.

yun yung regular lang na transitions.

yung mga branded kasi ang mahal e.

sabi sakin ang difference daw kasi mas mabilis magreact sa light and heat yung mas mahal.  pero so far, ok naman ako sa lenses ko.

My dad has this, pinalagay niya sa 1 frame niya. Then eventually 3/4 frames niya naka transition glasses na. hehe! Ok siya kasi pinalagyan niya yung oakley frames niya para tuloy siyang naka shades sa sunlight.Then pag indoor photos naman normal glasses siya:) 2 in 1 hehe! and he likes it for driving din daw.

Hi guys, has anyone tried the optical shop in quiapo "Optique Prima"? do they accept credit card po ba? and is it reliable to buy transition + anti-radiation lenses there? Thanks po!

I wasn't planning on getting transition lenses yet pero biglaan akong napabili. My eye doctor ordered me not to wear my contact lenses for a month due to allergic conjunctivitis. Bad timing since I am going on a trip. Napamahal tuloy ako as I had to get the Essilor Airwear since yun lang ang readily available lens na grado ko and I had them rush it.

^ ang mahal nga niyan. my lenses now are airwear transitions also plus made to order because of high astigmatism.

been using transition lenses for years and it's always a must for me every time i change my glasses. convenient kasi i'm not into shades so this works well. the one year i didn't i felt like i deprived myself of this luxury.

mine doesn't work when i ride the car as one did mention when it comes to synthetic lighting. also match frames correctly with the shade of your tint i made a mistake one time of having my tortoise frames with black (which actually is just grey) tint it didn't look good

I had a new pair of glasses made today, ang mahal ng lenses ko. I mentioned here before na i have high astigmatism so my lenses are made to order. Grabe, they now cost 12k for the pair. Ultra thin multi coated lang yan. So for the first time in years, i decided not to get transitions anymore. ang mahal na kasi sobra.

20k+ with frame na. Too steep if i add in pa transitions. I hope di ako manibago masyado.

I thought about getting a pair with transition lens but I didn't. My friend had a point: I have no
control of the lens. And true enough, my friend was complaining about how it won't go dark enough
while she's driving during the day.

I'm happy with anti-glare.

Mine's transition and I have astigmatism. Nung left lang ang may astigmatism sa akin, ayos pa eh..like when I go out tapos maaraw hindi sumasakit mata ko, ulo ko ayos lang.
Now i just found out na pati right ko may astigmatism na, sumasakit ulo ko... pinapalitan ko na pero transition pa rin...so uhmm let's see

My mom bought a pair for 35K last year. natutuwa ako pag nag ttransition na, i always stare at her whenever she puts it on. hehe. ;d

i have this pero pambahay lang, sabi ng mga friends ko parang nakakatanda daw ng itsura kase medyo nagdadarken ang lens kahit nasa mall lang kame. okay na ako sa anti glare lens.

been using transitions, essilor since 2011. so far ok naman for me. kasi may migraine ako kaya need ko hindi gaano naliliwanagan ang mate

Just a friendly reminder, always ask for the authenticity card of your purshased transition lenses, cause without the card you just purchased the generic ones,

what do you mean generic ones, sis? may generic na transitions? when i bought mine almost 5 years ago, binigyan nga din ako ng card of authenticity. pero may kakilala nga din ako nagpagawa last year, wala naman daw binigay na card sa kanya.
