i've been using transition lenses for more than 5 years. before that, i used clip-on shades with my glasses. mas gusto ko siya ngayon kasi no more clip-ons.

the only thing i don't like is that halos lahat ng outdoor photos ko during the day, dark yung lenses eh out of my control naman.

not sure how much it costs normally. i have high astigmatism so my lenses are made to order. the ones i use now are multi-coated airwear (very lightweight and practically unbreakable, swissflex pa yung frames ko so super gaan kahit makapal) transition lenses and they cost me about 12k for the pair (regular lenses for me cost about 7k).

two years ago 4k siya sa optha ko. it depends kasi sa brand yong price.

^ yes, it depends nga din sa brand.

my brother has tried using a cheaper brand (i forget the name) pero ang bagal mag-transition.

i use the original transtions brand transition lenses. transitions and airwear, both by essilor.

i also have astigmatism and this was recommended to me..ok nga gamitin kahit nmag-drive no need to switch to your sun glasses, i got mine for 7k (including the frame) unfortunately i lost it

ang prob pala dito talaga pag nasa loob ka ng medyo dimly lighted area ayun mukha ka na naka-shades

my officemate has one. cool lang tingnan pero parang ayoko sakin.
as for the lens, cant remember how much kasi nung tinanong ko presyo lens at frame sinagot nya hehe.

^^ the lenses are not supposed to darken if it's artificial/non-UV light. so if you're indoors with the lights on, colorless siya. at least, yung sakin ganon. hindi ako mukhang naka-shades pag indoors.

ako din i just bought my transition lenses may astigmatism din ako,,ganda niya outdoor,,no need for another pair of sunglasses.
i bought it near our place,,sa guadalupe mall,,for 3k,,sa level ng Avon yun eh,,katapat ng isang salon.

^ yung sakin yes but it depends on how long i've been in the sun and kung gaano kainit. Pag tanghaling tapat, talgang dark na dark.

^^I don't wear eyeglasses but my husband does... I got him this as my Christmas gift for him last year and nanonotice ko na nagdadarken sya talaga parang sunnies pag nasa labas... pero hindi sya yung tipong black na black na you can't see his eyes.. it's dark dark grey but you can still his eyes

ganyan din ang eyeglasses ni hubby, hindi masyado nagddark kahit gano kainit. Sa taas kami ng Mercury sa Glorietta nagpagawa. Though I have friends na ang bilis mag-dark sa araw. Feeling ko naloko kami dun sa pinagpagawaan namin

yup, sa Vision Express. Not sure what brand yun, basta we told them we wanted transition glasses. Umabot nga ng 4k yung glasses palang, wala pang frame. But mataas din naman kasi grado ni hubby. How much yung iyo sis?

meron ako nito kaya lang kahit sa loob ako ng mall mejo nagdadark yung lens kaya back to normal glasses na lang pag pahinga ko mata sa sa contacts
