X-Tenso Thread
« on: February 21, 2010, 03:41:30 pm »
I am planning on getting my hair treated for this one. I don't want my hair rebonded anymore because my tresses are quite thin, and I don't like how my hair looks when it is rebonded.

Have you had this treatment? Share your thoughts and before & after photos.

Thanks!

You don't want your hair rebonded? But Lorea'l X-Tenso is used for rebonding like Schwarzkopf Strait Therapy. X-tenso has Moisturist and CeraThermic.

I heard that with xtenso, you still retain hair volume. Unlike with the usual rebonding.

i always use x-tenso.. madami kasi kami nito.. kaya home service kami kapag magpagawa.. mahal kasi pag sa salon na mga high end. same lang naman kinakalabasan

yes sisses maganda kakalabasan ng hair mo kapag xtenso kasi andun padin ang volume. unlike sa iba na flat na flat. and dito super soft ang kakalabasan ng hair mo.. parang nagpa cellophane nadin after rebonding.. i always get compliments whenever bagong rebond ako. kaya i always share my experience.:)

for maintenance i use loreal hair spa para soft lagi

pero mga 5 months na ako hindi nagpaparebond kasi balak ko magpa perm.:)

whitestarr,  1,5k any length? sure ka sis na l'oreal x`tenso talaga gamit nila? kasi per tube ang xtenso. each tube costs 600-700.  hindi pa kasama yung neutralizer nun.  for a shoulder length hair, nasa 2 tubes na magagamit, and more kapag longer or mas makapal..

I'm not speaking for Hair Embassy. Pero sa province namin yung mga salons na X-Tenso at same price for same hair length, malas yung mas mahaba kasi pareho pa rin ang dami ng cream na ilalagay sa short at sa long. At mejo makapal ang strands ng plantsa. If you think about it, 600 ang gamot at least, may labor cost pa yan kasi mahirap talaga magplantsa ng masinsin, kuryente, tubig, other stuff. Magkano na ang matitirang kita niyan? Just make sure na ipapakita sa yo ang pagmimix ng creams straight from the tube (moisturist hindi na siya tube). Pag sobrang tipirin ka sa gamot o haluan ng iba.

each tube of x`tenso costs 600-700.  125 ml per tube. ang guideline sa dami ng cream na gagamitin for length of hair:

100 ml - short
200 ml - medium or 1" below shoulder
300 ml - long, bra-line,

add extra 100 ml if thick hair

that's for the step 1 cream pa lang, may neutralizer pa, which is another cost.  i estimate nasa 1/3 the cost of step 1 cream yan.

just like chippyq said, baka super tipiran sa gamot yan. worse, baka ibang gamot ang ginagamit, yung mga chinese chemicals na sobrang mura. make sure na talagang iopen yung tube sa harap niyo. :)
