I suggest TROIS garden in laguna. Dun ginanap yung wedding namin it was outdoor/garden wedding. dun narin ang ceremony and reception. Dun narin sa hotel nila yun preparation. 26k (100pax) yung catering/food then lahat ng decorations sa kanila. then 15k for location, Nag add lang kami ng 20k kasi sumobra kami sa visitors. so basically, same lang ng christian wedding ang civil wedding, the only diff is hindi pastor [textspeak!] sa civil.
i am catholic kasi, pero i opt to do a civil garden wedding kasi gusto ko tlaga ng outdoor and i want it to be personal so garden ang lola mo.... ang problema ko n lang ay ang magkakasal.... hirap maghanap ng solemnizing officer

ME AND MY FAMILY WAS REALLY DISAPPOINTED WITH SONYA'S GARDEN.

MY FAMILY WENT THERE 3 TIMES. THEY CHARGED US 10,000 FOR THE RECEPTION BUT THEY NEVER SAID NA IF WE HIRE AN OUTSIDE CATERER, THEY WILL CHARGE US 80,000 PHP FOR THE RECEPTION.

MAY GANYANG RULE. SO THEY DIDNT GIVE US ANY OPTION, WE ARE FORCED TO AVAIL 630PHP SET MEAL (SALAD, BREAD, BASTA, DESERT AND DRINKS) PARA MAKUHA NAMIN ANG 10,000PHP NA PRICE NG RECEPTION.

THEY DIDNT MENTIONED IN THE EMAIL. HINRI RIN NAKALAGAY DUN SA PAPER NA BINIBIGAY NILA.

Help please, we're booking Fernwood Gardens for our morning wedding reception.
We went there last weekend from 11am - 6pm and noticed that it was really, really warm in the venues especially when your seat has sunlight hitting it! Pawis na pawis kami, malagkit! We're not even in formal wear yet. Considering na this is in August, not really summer even.

I know there is an option to add Iwata cooling fans and we plan on adding at least 10 units in Coral Tree for our reception, but we're worried this might still not be enough to cool it (may Iwatas na nung ocular namin, mainit padin with an event setup). It seems that they cannot do anything more to address it apart from this.

Since Dec naman wedding namin, can i get feedback from Nov / Dec / Jan morning brides if di nainitan guests nyo during the actual event?

Thank you so much for the feedback sis. If ever, maglagay kami mga 10-12 iwatas. The drawback of doing that is that kita na sya in almost all angles ng picture :|

We actually haven't made our reservation/ downpayment with Fernwood because I found out na it will cost us about 30-52k extra for the same menu of the same caterer for the same # of guests--- vs. if we had a different venue. So totoo nga, napapamahal yung caterers dahil sa fernwood. Now we are thinking of just using that amount to fund all the out of town fees should we consider Tagaytay (and will no longer have to worry about the warmth of fernwood). 52k is a big deal to me, especially if my guests will not 'feel' it. Kaya pala mura ang venue fee ni Fernwood compared to Tagaytay venues, mas mahal naman yung per head nila vs. other venues for the same food!!

I agree, sis. Fernwood is also my personal choice. Sobrang mesmerizing ng venue para sa mga guests. HIndi rin hassle puntahan if most of your guests are from the northern part of Metro Manila.
I had my wedding in Fernwood on a December night, yun nga lang, medyo hindi masyado malamig nga without the air coolers, kahit gabi. Konti lang din ang nirent naming coolers (6 yata yun) due to our limited budget saka para hindii rin makita sa pictures yung mga iwata, akala namin since gabi naman yun at December, baka okay naman. However, medyo di pa rin malamig for guests sitted not too near the air coolers.  Nevertheless, di naman ganun ka un-comfy yung pagkainit. Na-compensate naman ng ganda ng venue.

Hi sis +arte20+! I would like to ask sana kung sino yung priest nyo nung wedding nyo? Sa Fernwood Gardens din kasi ang wedding ko and dun na din yung chapel.. nakita ko kasi sa suppliers rating mo na okay yung priest nyo.. TIA!

Hello! Just wanted to get advice from garden brides I am renting evaporative aircoolers so that my guests won't feel too sticky but my mom is also suggesting I provide parasols. Planning to go to Divi pero can anyone share how much it would cost para I can prepare my budget? Nakita ko sa sulit/olx na around Php 150-200/parasol on average. Will I be able to find Php 100/parasol in divi? Or that's hoping for too much?

Also, I'm wondering if having the guests use parasols will block the view of the 'altar'?

Garden ceremony and indoor reception kase ang plan namin. Pwede rin bang yung basic sound system sa reception yun na din ang gagamitin for ceremony? TIA!

^mostly yes sis. You will need l/s. Kasi hindi maririnig ng mga bisita kayo or yung pari. Need nyo ng mic, speakers, amps.  Alam na nila kung pano yun isesetup.And kung indoor reception, kailangan nyo  ng tamang light, otherwise madilim kyo. Kung basic sounds system lang baka kulang yung specs na kailangan especially kung may band kayo. Chaka sino yung magooperate nun, may tao ba na ipoprovide yung venue nyo?
