All About Garden Wedding!

hi sisses! Hubby and I are planning to have a Garden/Christian wedding next year. Actually we had our civil wedding last year. But of course, a girl wouldn't miss to have a dream wedding of her own

Were setting the date January 2011, and now were starting to scout for the venue, as our 1st step on our to-do list. We're planning to separate the place for the ceremony and the reception but in one venue lang, parang american style wedding. Gusto namen na nakafocus sila samen and sa pastor heheh.. (shempre star kame for that day), then after the ceremony transfer na for the reception..

For the budget, we are holding tight on it though.. hehe

Sisses do you know a place na pwede gawin yung plan namen na mejo hindi naman pricey?

We saw oasis set-up, ok sila but were still looking for other options. If you could also suggest/ make kwento about your thoughts and experience about garden wedding, it would be very appreciated!

sis, how many guests mo? try The Grove, Rockwell. I think it would cost around 40k for the rental. But the place is really nice. you can also try Father Blanco's garden or Patio Victoria in Intramuros. =)

sis around 100-120 pax guests namen..
ive checked sa net oasis, jardin de miramar, and blue garden.. so far ok naman pero hanap padin ever! heheh!

Prang may nabasa akong review (from the Tagaytay thread, I guess) na hinde masyadong nice yung Tropical Green (nakalimutan ko na what exactly made it not that nice, kung anong aspect), kaya I suggest you better check the site on your own to assess it talaga. Basta read all the posts sa tagaytay thread, overwhelming lahat ng posts/replies nila.

I am overseas and we were initially thinking of having an open garden wedding. I asked my mom and relatives to do ocular for both mango farm and la huerta estate. They love la huerta estate. Try La Huerta Estate. I think it will be more expensive than Mango Farm though.

Hi mga sisses! We're overseas couple too and be having a Garden/Christian wedding on May 2011, very limited lang time namin last vacation sa pinas, so we just did ocular for our top 3 venues, di na kmi lumayo pa e, we choose between Oasis, Lights of Love and Glass garden.. We choose Oasis, since the garden for the ceremony is separate to the reception w/c is their pavillion and exclusive pa [textspeak!] area. of course mahalaga din [textspeak!] mag a-assist, napaka maalaga ni Ana Maahilig, saka marami syang binigay saking signs.. nag clicked talaga kmi. accessible and malaki [textspeak!] parking. So ok na kmi ni fiance sa venue, all major major stuff inuna nmin, now I'm fixing with little stuff.. uuwi nlang ulit for Gown fitting.

share ko lang mga sis, nag ocular kame kanina sa tropical greens..
for me ok naman yung place, mejo mababa nga lang yung ceiling at hindi makakapaglagay ng mga drapes & swags pero for me ok naman kahit wala na nun and kasi malaki yung space sa pool area pwede mag set up dun ng tables na din instead un sa ibaba.. mejo luma na [textspeak!] paint ng clubhouse pero ok pa din naman cia, need lang [textspeak!] linisin yung area ng super linis pag may event.. caterer nalang ang magpapaganda ng venue or event stylist if you want to hire one..
baka dito na lang kame kasi we set our priorities kung san kame mag spend ng malaking budget eh (photo&video,rings & travel for our honeymoon ang priorities)

if may malaki sanang budget BALI VILLAGE pa din ang first choice ko, but since we're on a tight budget eh ok na din to..
siguro maglalagay na lang kame ng candles sa pool and floating flowers para mas romantic yung setting
we're praying lang na sana available pa yung date namen since ang daming naka-booked na sa calendar nila..

^Sis, kapag garden/christian wedding dapat ba both kayo ni fiance' ay christians? We opt for a civil then christian wedding kasi since I am based overseas and I don't have time to fix the requirements if we go for a Catholic church wedding. Thanks

We are planning to have our wedding on Nov. 12, 2011. For the reception, garden wedding (poolside area) sana ang choice namin pero I am worried that it might rain that
day and all the preparations might end up ruined. Given the date of our wedding, what are your opinions mga sis? Sino ba ang mga Nov. brides dito, what are your experiences?

sis, my wedding will be in july. i was insistent of a garden reception also, but h2b does not want na magbakasakali. so we opted sa covered venue na lang. mahirap na. ok lang sana kung before the event eh umulan na sha at magagawan pa ng paraan na ilipat lahat, eh what if dun mismo sa event mangyari..

if you really want a garden reception, i guess magrent ka ng tent if you're pursuing yung garden talaga.
