How do you take solo pics when traveling ALONE and you happen to be a camwhore?

it is perfect for taking photos of yourself but of course you have to use the timer function of your camera. di ko alam saan nakakabili kasi kasama sa package ng nikon point and shoot namin pero hindi siya nikon na brand. it's an after-market accessory. it's retractable, only less than a foot long when not extended.

digital hub's camera store in trinoma (near croc's) has this for P500.00 near the counter.

^monopod tawag sa kanya sis. i have that one also. bigay sakin ng sis in law ko last christmas because she knows im travelloign alone. pero at the same time binigyan din ako ni boyfir ng dslr because he also knows im travelling lone.  so i went to SG-KL and Indonesia with that and point and shoot and my DSLR.  for me mas ok gamitin pa din ang powers ng "can you please take my picture?" kesa sa monopd kasi mas kita lahat ng view pag nag ask ka ng favor sa iba.  just my pov

Tripod + DSLR + Remote = Solo Picture

Ingat sa paki-take ng picture ha, yun friend ko ng nasa HK siya, tinakbo yun camera nya ng pinaki-favor niya. 

I have 4 tripods (parang engot ano? hehe) pwera pa yun gorillapod ko, pero I'm planning to buy monopod pa. Ewan ko ba. Sakit yata yun eh. Hehe. Kidding aside, maganda kasi ang kuha pag walang camera shake di ba? Kaya I would also suggest na mag-tripod ka na lang. Monopod kasi limited pa din space na makukunan mo eh. And yeah, remote also. Ewan kung may remote ang point and shoot pero sa dslr kasi meron eh.

wala na yung 850 na tripod sa cdr king, yung 1,1k na lang binili ko. mukhang okay naman, let's see kung ilang beses ko lang siya magagamit bago masira.  hehe, alam niyo naman ang quality ng cdrking, parang disposable! LOL

^ i also bought a tripod from photoline P1,200 bili ko. it's not that i have more confidenCE in their product, but i think theirs is better than CDRking.

eto na, i met CDRKing peeps when  I was in Sagada. They knew exactly the model of my tripod and they said it's their product. Sabi ko I bought it at photoline for P1200. Sabi nila when I buy that at CDRking P850 lang.

^ some of us avoid CDRking, pero yung binebenta sa iba, dun din pala galing. haha

quality? uhm mabigat kasi above 5ft siya, 1ft when folded. pero sturdy naman. pwede din sa beach kasi made of aluminum. yun lang takot pa din ako i-tilt for portrait shots. laging landscape lang para safe!

me too, i use remote and the tripod. meron me maliit na tripod. pero kami ni bf, we never asked someone to take our pictures, takot ako na baka itakbo ang cam...

when i was alone enjoying the city tour in singapore...boss ko kasi kasama ko e matanda na yon, first time ko sa sg...so dapat sulitin ang free city tour...one foreigner said to me, "you know how to take picture of yourself" ...i replied, "yes, i have too "

i take my gorillapod tripod (sory mali post ko tawag ko kasi dito dato godzilla hahaha!) pag gusto ko nag medyo malayo ang kuha. =)

si hubby natatawa sa kin kasi kahit pagkain namin kinukunan ko ng pics. so bago nya touch yung food ask muna nya ako kung kukuhanan ko pa  ng pic. pag katapos ko mag picture ask ulet siya if pwede na nya kainin.! LOL!!!!

sis, kaya mas mura sa CDR kasi wala silang binabayaran na endorser o kaya ads. established na kasi sila.

try mong magcanvass sa ibang store, mas mura pa rin sa CDR kahit same brand lang naman. ang laki ng difference ng price.

therefore, yung sinasabi nating "poor quality" ng products ng CDRking na iniiwasan natin, ay binebenta din naman sa ibang store (hindi lang natin alam) at yun ang binibili natin.  Kala natin mas matibay na.

i also have one like sis clueless' device. very useful. I also use a large gorilla tripod. so i can tie it sa puno, post, fence, etc.

yes! my tripod na ako! yes yes yes!! a camwhore's dream-come hehe! hindi naman pala kamahalan ang tripod, nag-hesitate pa ko bumili noon.

yup, 600 lang yung nabili ko sa cdr king, kaso anlaki niya. hirap dalhin. ambilis daw kasi ma out of stock ng mga tripod accdg sa SA.
