Subic [Thread 4]

Hi, katatapos ko lang magbackread. Grabe!  We plan to go here this Holy week April 5-7.  4 adults and 1 kid (5yrs old). Anyone recently stayed at Boardwalk Inn?  I am looking for a cheap but clean and safe place to stay.  Mukhang ok dito. 

My planned IT is: (commute lang kami.)
April 5 - check in at hotel, pasyal and shop at the vicinity
April 6 - Ocean Adventure and day tour at Camayan beach (swim and try the biking trail)
April 7 - more shopping, check out. 


My questions:
1. Kelan open ang ocean adventure during the Holy week?  Baka masayang punta namin dahil close.
2.  What else can we do around the hotel other than eat and shop?
3.  Meron ba public transpo or free shuttle outside Ocean adventure that can bring us back to hotel at night.  Gusto namin stay at Camayan for the fire dance.  What time ang fire dance?

We just want to relax at a beach pero not willing to pay for the accomodation there... hehe

Pasensya na if dami tanong.  It will be my third time to go to subic.  The 1st and second was way way back 19-forgotten.

What other recommended hotels or inns?

just got back from subic.. stayed in subic residencias, 2100/night, 2 to 3-minute drive from SBFZ rizal gate. ok naman yung place, all the basic needs, you'll have it there, nice din ang staff. the only problem -- wala ng parking. i think meron silang 3-4 parking slots sa likod pero full na syempre. ineexpect ba nila na max of 4 lang ang merong sasakyan na magsstay sa kanila? although puede namang magpark sa side ng street (rm drive) sobrang daming taong dumadaan and dun yung main route ng mga jeepneys so hassle.

we only went to duty-free shops, tinamad na kaming mag-OA. advice lang -- wag nyo ng itry yung maliliit ng duty-free shops. no good finds there. back to royal and puregold duty-free lang kami. puede din siguro dun sa subic duty-free for sports goods.

we also tried seafood by the bay, xtremely xpresso, sakura and magic lagoon (too bad hindi kami umabot sa cocolime). pero ok naman lahat ng nakainan namin but pinakasulit siguro for me yung magic lagoon.

also, pag pupunta kayo dun, try to gas up to pang-punta lang. laki ng difference ng gas dun, kakatuwa. kaya dun na lang kayo magpa-full tank

Mga sis suggest naman kayo saan maganda magstay yung affordable lang na malapit sa beach na house may alam bakayo? Mga 10 adults kami then 2 baby. Sa saturday na balak namin and overnight lang sana.

hindi ko masyado ma-elaborate kung saan ang cubi kasi hindi ako nagda-drive. but i'll try para mas may alam ka kung saan ang cubi From petron/puregold/royal duty free, basta yung intersection na yun, ang daan papauntang cubi is also the same papuntang airport and where the beaches are. basta same way lang sila. paakyat kasi sis ang cubi area eh. If I'm not mistaken, may 2 akyatan before you reach the airport. dont worry sis, pag andun kayo, kilalang kilala naman ang cubi at ang treetop

planning to go here on feb, meron po ba kayong contact no.ng herbies mansion?hindi kase sila nag rereply sa PM ko sa FB..natapos ko na rin mag backread pero etong thread lang..heheh wala pa rin ako nakitang contact no.nila..8 kaming pupunta and we jsut need a place to stay and sleep since most of the time we'll be out..need ko yung mga 30 mins away from OA, treetop and Zoobic.. sana may maka recommend senyo..

We went there last weekend. We stayed at Camayan Beach Resort and visited Ocean Adventure. Pricey talaga sa Camayan pero worth it naman yung stay.  Nakaka relax kasi hindi crowded yung beach. Before bumming sa beach we went to Ocean Adventure with my four-year old son.

Next time siguro if gusto lang talaga naming mag gala, we will stay sa budget hotel.

here's the number of herbie's mansion, (047) 252- 7350.  Affordable ang prices dyan mga sis, and malapit lang sa mga gimikan like Pier One etc.

Which is better, Seorabeol or Subic Park? Wanted to stay there overnight after the hot air balloon festival so we can go to Zoobic with my kids the following day Camayan kasi is a bit too pricey. I wanted sana nasa 3k range lang.

^^hot air balloon festival is being held at Clark, Pampanga sis. Subic Freeport Zone (Zambales) is about 30-40 minutes drive from Clark thru the SCTEx.
