We're planning to go to Subic this coming July 30.  Food trip and photoshoot lang ang balak namin.  Initially, we decided to stay at Lighthouse kaya lang parang sayang naman kasi overnight lang kami tapos most of the time sight seeing pa.  Baka po may recommendations/suggestions kayo on a chaper alternative sa accomodation, preferrably within the area po ng lighthouse and kung saan magandang magpicture picture. TIA

^ Sis try Boardwalk Inn, if you just need a place to crash for the night. It's in the same area as lighthouse.

i called up boardwalk inn, kaya lang wala raw silang room na good for 5 pax.  pa-help naman mga sis, baka may alam kayo na merong "family room" style accommodation that's good for 5 adults and the vicinity is near lighthouse. TIA.

ang alam kong katabi talaga ng lighthouse is vista marina, moonbay villas, and another hotel beside vista marina which name escapes me at the moment. katabi nun yung pier 1 na. then sa other side of the street a few hundred meters away yung seorabeol, boardwalk inn, etc..

anong korean restaurant ang masarap kainan sa subic? we will be going there again eh. the last time kasi we didn't try eating sa mga korean resto but napanasin ko ang dami nila. any suggestions?

you may try texas joe. Katabi sya ng herbie's mansion. Masarap food and nice ng place.

hi po..ask lang po san maganda mgstay, yung mura lang..we plan to celebrate our daughter's 7th birthday sa pagpunta na lang sa subic and go to ocean adventure and safari..it will be in October 1st..one night stay..help po sa itinerary and place to stay..thanks po!! also san makakuha discounted entrance sa ocean at safari..thanks!

hi sis you can try Bayfront Hotel or Seorabeol, para sa tapat lang ng baywalk, para tawid lang kayo andun na yung pasyalan at kainan...or kung mas mababa pa ang budget pwede den ang Hotel Venezia nasa bandang gitna lang pero pwede pa den lakaran ppunta sa baywalk, medyo lakad 2x nga lang pero kung may dala naman sakyan carry na den, kita ko sa site nila ang cute ng interior ng room... about sa discount hindi kuna kasi alam ang new # na napagkunan namen nun research kuna lang uli, den repost it here

sis, sorry pero wala nang GOKART dito sa Subic. Re: Foodtrip madami kayong mapupuntahan dito Korean, Japanese, Mexican, Filipino foods depende sa type nyo.

mukhang ok na ang weather today but di pa din nagpapakita ang araw, much better than the past few days though...

I just came back from subic.  It was still rainy this morning when we left.  We went to zoobic and ocean adventure.  It was fun even if it was raining very hard.  Sometimes it stops then lalakas na naman.  Buti nalang when we were in zoobic walang ulan.  We enjoyed the adventure. 

I also want to share the hotel we checked in to.  THE CLIFF in Bo. Baretto.  First, ang hirap hanapin ng location.  We already called the hotel to ask what's the nearest landmark to them, even the lady we talked to cannot properly describe their location.  It took us 3 round around Bo. Baretto to find this resort/hotel.

We booked for the mini suite with loft for Php 2500/night without breakfast.  But to our dismay the mini suite has a 2nd flr which is part of the master suite and when we can hear the foot steps of the guest upstairs! We immediately asked for a transfer. Fortunately, there's still 1 available room, a standard room beside the information.  It was ok, no 2nd floor, no guest foot steps.. but we can hear the arriving guest while they are inquiring at the information office. 

During our 1st night, the electricity went out! the hotel has no gen set! Nakatulog na kami sa pag aantay na bumalik ang kuryente. Buti na lang malamig ang panahon. I think it took 3 hours bago bumalik ang kuryente. We cannot open the window because there's so many mosquitos! Uso pa man din ang dengue.

2nd night, we went back to the hotel at 9pm from our zoobic and ocean adventure trip.  We also had dinner at xpresso cafe. Wala na naman ilaw! this time sa parking lang.  But we have to take a long stairs for us to reach the hotel.  Mataas kase yung place that's why it's named THE CLIFF, so yung parking sa baba then papanhik ka sa taas para makarating sa hotel.  We have to use the light from our gadgets para maglakad sa dilim and to make our situation worst sinabayan pa ng ulan. waah! I swear I will never go back to this hotel again. 


Btw, this hotel has only 1 channel in their tiny tv.  Ang maganda lang sa kanya malakas ang tubig at may hot & cold water sa shower. Yun lang.
