Imonlyyours24, based sa mga nabasa and napanood ko on youtube, yung pang-luto lang din talaga ang ginagamit nila na EVOO on the skin. Most of them buy the cold-pressed or expeller-pressed oils.

Honestly, for old scars, it's difficult to say if any oil can help.

For fresh marks, emu oil and sunflower oil worked well for me.

^ sis sa alimall meron pero tv shopping yun, quite pricey, sa sessou sa market2 meron cheaper, saka sa glorietta, not sure sa trinoma kung meron. rosehip is not effective on old scars. but it lightens the skin evenly, and removes dark spots pero matagal makita ang effect. i only use it as a moisturizer, sayang kasi.

i tried Oil concoction (i learned it from one of the GT'er), it's very maganda! nakalambot ng skin specially sa paa ko. i put it every night lang sa feet, siko, tuhod and hands. nakakasoften ng rough skin, promise :)

here's the formula:
1/2 part Olive oil (yung pangluto ginamit ko, since that's what i have Extra Virgin)
1/4 part Vit. E (i squeezed it from the capsule, around 10softgels, 400iu)
1/4 castor oil

what i read is GT'er used it to her hair and it lessens her falling hair.

Sis share ko lang. I used extra virgin olive oil (yung pang-food lang) on my hair a few weeks ago. Very effective as a hair treatment. Only downside is ang hirap tanggalin sa hair. Out of all the hair treatments I've tried (I've tried Golden Fabulouz, Creamsilk hair treatment, Human Nature hair treatment), EVOO had the nicest effect. Oh, and it makes the bathroom floor super slippery, so careful lang sa CR.

@baby_astig, google mo yung oil composition sis. Yung mga at least 60% oleic acid ang component, nakaka-clog ng pores.

Comedogenic kasi ang oleic acid.

I'm planning to buy sana pero ng aalangan me..

thanks..

I used rosehip on my stretchmarks nung kakapanganak ko lang.. after ilang weeks, nagpeel yung sa tyan ko at medyo na minimize yung stretchmarks ko.. at nag lighten din yung tiyan ko nun.. kasi umitim nung nagbuntis ako. kaso hindi na ako nakabili uli kaya madami parin ako stretchmarks. balak ko bumili soon.. medyo pricey kasi rosehip oil.

I used to put on Extra virgin coconut oil and didn't bother na with the smell for hopes that I could hydrate my very dry arms, legs, and thighs. Kaso parang more than a month, wala namang pagbabago.

Ano po bang mairerecommend nyo na Natural oils in replace of lotion para mahydrate ang skin ko?
(Now I've been using a little of H♥N Sunflower oil on them (arms, thighs, legs) and then konting H♥N Passion Fruit Hydrating lotion. Ang bath soap ko rin is Heavenly Beauty Goat Milk soap. As mush as possible ayoko na kasing gumamit ng chemical na body products. Kinailangan ko lang mag-Dove before for a few weeks kasi nagdry after magbeach.)

Thanks mga sis.

Andee How, oil is oil and moisture is water. Magkaiba sila. Oil seals the moisture in. Kung walang moisture sa skin mo, wala syang i-s-seal.

What you can do is, put oil as soon as you towel dry your skin.

Kung ayaw pa rin, and aversed ka talaga sa synthetic chemicals, the mildest lotion you can do is mix glycerin and water to hydrate your skin and put some oil afterwards.

Anyway, regarding your aversion to synthetic chemicals, take into consideration that many oils are chemically-extracted. Baka hindi ka din nakakaiwas sa synthetic chemicals after all. Look for cold-pressed or expeller-pressed oils.
