^^Thanks Sis Annie M. Thank God my dad arrived safely sa Chicago. Yun nga lang nagkaroon siya ng problem pagdating sa Detroit and he missed his flight. Na-question kasi yung handcarry niya. Bakit daw yun lang ang dala niya eh 1 month daw siya mag stay sa US. Ni-nerbyos nga daw siya kasi dinala pa siya sa isang room kung saan kinuwestion pa siya ulit. But eventually they let him go kaso na-miss na niya yung flight niya. Buti nalang daw filipina yung nasa counter ng Delta, hindi na siya nahirapan mag explain at nai-sakay naman siya sa next flight without any charges. No question about the money. Dun pa naman kami ready haha

my fiancé will leave the country in October...na grant na immigrant visa nya.  I will go there in November for vacation, spend the holidays with him, experience thanksgiving and winter in the US.  Hinde ba ko ma question pag sinabe ko fiancé ko bibisitahin ko at isipin nilang hinde na ko babalik?  Though nagpagawa ako sa office namin ng certification of my approved leaves na 1 month lang ako dun and I need to go back for my work.

hello! hoping someone here could answer my query.

i was  granted a 10-year multiple US visa 2 weeks ago and i am leaving for a 20-day stay on 3rd week of March. the thing is, my passport is expiring on August 17 of this year. do i need to renew my passport before i go or is it okay to use my current passport as i will be back before expiration anyway?

1.  What are travel requirements for Philippine citizens with tourist-purpose visas?

Unexpired DFA-issued passport (at least six-months valid)

Baka hindi ka payagan to get out of the PH if the validity is less than 6mos, whether you're bound for US or for any other country

^^ sis ms. G, you definitely have to renew your passport. you won't be allowed to leave PH if less than 6 months na lang validity ng passport mo. better schedule your renewal asap since medyo mahirap makakuha ng appointment in less than a month

Share ko lang questions that the immigrations officers asked me when I visited the US last Nov.

PH to SFO:
1.  When did you last visit the United States? (which was 2007)
2.  Where are you staying?
3.  What's the purpose of your visit?

I also went to NYC.  Wala naman questions since domestic flight naman sya.  Tas I went to Canada din from NYC.

Sa Canada, same questions lang din tas nag ask din how long will I be staying there.  Yung from Canada ko back to SFO, medyo struggle sya because ang tagal ko sa harap ng immigration officer.  Nakakapanic.  Worried ako baka hinde ako papasukin uli ng US sa dame ng questions.  And I didn't know na ang US port of entry pala ay nasa airport ng Canada (Toronto).  So bago ka sumakay ng eroplano malalaman mo na kung makakapasok ka ba uli ng US or not.  Buti na lang we went to the airport early. 

Here are their questions:

1.  When did you last visit the United States? (Nalito ako sa tanong siguro kase naunahan ako ng kaba because marami sa harap ko nag tagal din sila sa window.  So  answered 2007 which is wrong kasi last entry ko was last Nov. 2016 haha! Pero bumawe ako agad)
2.  Where are you staying? I said San Francisco which is wrong nanaman.  Ang nasa isip ko kase that time kung san ako lalapag which is SFO. But I told him the address where I'll be staying.  Haha sabaw talaga!
3.  What's the purpose of your visit?  I said leisure. Tas he gave me that look na parang nagtaka and then I said vacation/tour.  That I'll be spending the holidays  there. Tas todo explain ako na ang nasa itinerary ko e ph-sf-nyc-canada-sf-ph. Whew!
4.  How many days did you stay in Canada?
5.  Who are you visiting in the United States?
6.  How long will you be staying in the US?  When are you going back to the Ph?

Tas may mga questions sya na inulit uli siguro just to check kung consistent ako.

Lessons learned:  wag papauna sa kaba and just answer their questions straight.  Very important din ang eye contact.

We'll be leaving next month.. Our visa will expire next year so kailangang sulitin before renewal lol..

Port of Entry namin ay SFO. Twice na naman kami nakapunta ng US.

^^ Sis, hindi naman. I was really nervous when we went to the US a couple of months ago because of that plus pa the fact na sinagad ko yun 6 months last visit ko. The only questions asked were the purpose of the trip and how long yun stay.

2 trips to the US, parehong JFK ang port of entry. Questions are: What's the purpose of your trip? How long are you going  to stay? and Where are you going to stay?

Nabigyan naman ako ng 6 months, unang alis ko i only stayed for 4 months tapos yung pangalawa 10 days lang. I also tried to present my return ticket pero sabi nung immigration officer, "no need".

Can I enter US this December to visit friends for 2 weeks? Go back the the Philippines and then fly to US again for the training in March?

nung ako, single entry lang. so yung tour ko, nakadikit right after my training. tapos good for 3months lang ata. tapos nakaidentify pa sa visa na "for company x training on march 20-24, 2017"

2nd time ko na yan na training. ganun lagi. 3months single entry. eto yung mga tanong.

am i wearing my brand - sabi ko no, i'm wearing a local brand
what will i do if the mother company offered me a job - i havent thought about it
am i carrying anything that should be declared - im carrying dried mangoes and dried kamias, is that allowed?

It happened to me once in SFO, 4th visit to USA last March 2018.

What other US airports easy to enter? So far I know SFO, LAX, NYC for a Filipino.

Hi sissies! Graduate na ko sa kabilang thread Got my visa approved. Start na ko magbasa dito. Question lang, mahirap ba pumasok sa hindi touristy destination? May relative kasi ako sa Texas, so dun ko una magagamit yung visa if ever.
