Do not say you are preggers.. hindi pa halata ang 2 mos. 
The less you tell them, the better... maniwala ka sa amin dito.

^ay sis, as a tourist, its a no-no to give birth dun sa US. parang sinamantala mo naman ang hospitality ng US di ba. pag nanganak ka dun, since tourist ka, libre ang hospital bills mo c/o the taxpayers. kaya naghihigpit tuloy sila sa mga tourists dahil sa mga ganyang pangyayari. i think mas mahigpit sila sa mga buntis dahil nga sa mga ganung cases na dun lang gustong manganak. i think mga 2wks lang binibigay nila pag nakita nilang pregnant.

Also, may baltik na dito sa US Embassy ha.  There is 1 case I am very sure of... na deny ang visa ng whole family (and the wife had connections!  pero buti nga)  because she gave birth to her last kid in the US on a tourist visa.   The consul said that her case is to send out word that Filipinos may not do that or go that route just to pad up their family chances of getting visas continuously.   The way that family was blacklisted.. akala mo on the terrorist listings sila.. how do we know?  kasi pinapaayos nila when they themselves could not fix it - so the story got out.

Always have a return ticket, regardless of your real plans.
Having none puts them on guard en punto kasi.

^It not only puts them on guard, but if you're travelling on a B1/B2 visa, a return ticket is an immigration requirement. What we are suggesting is putting a specific date on the return ticket. That's what they are on the lookout for. That is also what we in the airline biz keep on suggesting to passengers unsure of their travel plans.

yes sis kahit na grant kana ng visa dito sa pinas...ang susunod mo naman iisipin is pag tapak muna ng airport hehe... dun nakasalalay kung papasukin ka ba nila or hangang kailan lang ang pwede mo stay...hindi mo pwede insist na gusto mo 6 months...nag dedepende talaga sa interview...

may mga cases na yung iba napapabalik ng pinas lalo na kung may duda ang IO...

yup mga sis I won't tell them naman na I'm pregnant baka lang kasi pag dating ko sa US magka prob ako while staying there kasi lalaki tyan ko. I'm thinking if I'll avail Continental Airline pero sa Guam [textspeak!] stop over nila dun din ba ang POE ko? tas after Narita tapos JFK na.

Bakit hindi naman kung yun lang talaga time mo for vacation eh. Ganda pa nga nyan it impresses on them na wala kang balak mag-TNT at fix yung schedule mo. For my trip next week, I'll only be staying for 9 days too. I'll be attending my sister's wedding lang kasi.

^^check mo na lang online kasi depende naman yun sa travel dates mo at kung direct flight or not. basta alam ko mas mura yan sa pal.

I'd say just relax and tell the truth. Prepare everything and memorize your lines. They usually ask you to declare valuable items before you land so make sure walang surprise items na hindi declared.

Haven't experienced being discriminated against because I'm Asian.

FYI, ina case lang if you are using a B1/B2 visa aka tourist visa...it is not only advisable but MANDATORY that you have a return ticket, otherwise, dito pa lang di ka na iche-checkin sa airline counter. Di ka din papaalisin ng immigration. Sa bagay, di ka talaga aabot sa immigration kasi nga the airline pa lang will not let you check in with a one way ticket on a tourist visa. I've had a few passengers who got into trouble and missed their flights because of improper/incomplete docs.
