Hahaha, kakatawa naman 2 years na ko dito pero ang natitikman ko pa lang na Malay food is the Nasi Lemak (famous breakfast in Malaysia) at Rendang (parang caldereta sa atin) Di naman ako pihikan sa food pero ewan ko, hehe.

^ ganun ba sis? ako halos lahat ng luto nila dito tinitikman ko from roti prata , nasi lemak to mee goreng hehe. natuto ng aakong kumain ng spicy food dito eh. one of the best and hokkien mee prawn dito sa may hdb block namin.

i want to try the rendang when we go to malaysia any good place where we can eat it? hehe

the food court in Suria mall in Petronas have this Nasi Lemak stall.  You can try it there.  Masarap siya.  Or you can try the Madam Kwan retaurant na famous sa mga Malay foods nila...

can you help me out with our itinerary? we will be in sg on december 13-15 pa naman then will go to malaysia for a day trip lang since sa gabi we will be flying to male na. so which is the cheapest way to go to malaysia? i have 2 options:

option 1: fly to malaysia via tiger at night at around 9pm on dec 15  then will stay in tune hotel,  then the next day, will go to petronas naman and stroll nalang around the area and by afternoon, go back to tune hotel na to catch up with the flight sa gabi.

              if ever ba, better to find a hotel near lcct or find nalang somewhere near petronas?

option 2: bus nalang from sg to malaysia pero may worry is, pano yung luggage namin pag nagikot na kami sa petronas? san namin pwede iiwan? mahal kase if we get a hotel/inn kase di naman ma-stayan talaga,.

please help me out. thanks!

May nakapag sabi sa akin na from Suntec meron daw tour to KL- Johor Bahru. Day trip lang from SG. Worth it ba? Sayang din tatak sa passport. hehe.

I tried googling wala ako makita. We will be in SG for five days. sa day 3 sana Sunday yun, gusto ko mg KL. Sino po kaya me alam? TIA.

KL ka na lang sis kesa Johor, nasa KL ang petronas and KL Tower e.  Although 6 hrs ang bus ride ha.

Di bale baka next time na lang ang KL. Siguro we'll just enjoy SG for now. Most of us first timers sa SG eh. yey! I'm excited na for my kids. I'll go back to this thread pag pa-KL na kami. Hopefully next year.

Hi sisses, just finished backreading, parang gusto ko na din  mgpunta ng malaysia.. originally Sg trip lang kami ng family ko, pero sa mga nabasa ko baka sakali pwede na din kme sumaglit sa MY. ang tanong ko lang ay kayanin kaya ng sked namin. kc Feb17-20 lang kami sa Sg, dating pa [textspeak!] sa Sg 9pm ata via PAL. pwede po ba kyo mgsuggest ng itinerary [textspeak!] frm Feb 17, 9pm to Feb 20, flight [textspeak!] back to MLA 8pm ata. eto sana yun gusto ko puntahan, Sg- universal, sentosa, vivo at esplanade, marina bat, clark quay tapos sa KL, batu cave, petronas. help [textspeak!] po sa mga nakapunta na frm SG to KL. ^ sis, sabi nga ni sis kady, halos 12 hrs na ang byahe mo from SG to KL kung itutuloy mo pa ang KL mo.  Medyo gipit na sa oras.  One day kasi is not enough to visit KL.  You can check out the Malaysia thread for more info.

if its your first time to go to sg and you will be staying for 3 or 4 days lang i suggest you exlore SG first then next trip na lang ang MY. kasi although maliit lang ang SG marami namang places na magandang puntahan. tapos mostly you have to spend 1/2 day each ( jurong bird park ; sg zoo + night safari; sentosa) or whole day universal studios, pwede rin sentosa.

MY also medyo magkalayo ang mga tourist spots

can I have more details please? We are going to be in SG for five days and my friend and I are considering a day trip to KL via bus. I gather that you could leave SG at night and then arrive in KL in the morning then leave later that night to go back to SG. Can I ask what bus to take? What bus station? How much ang fare? Can we get like a round trip ticket na? ANd from the bus station in KL, how do u get to Petronas? What other tourist spots can we visit? Thanks so much.

may diretso bang bus sa genting from SG? 12mn ang balak namin, tapos from genting bus rin di ba papuntang kuala lumpur? from petronas tower malapit ba yung terminal ng bus pabalik SG? ano oras ang last na byahe?

^ sis, try reading the Malaysia thread.  Pero to answer your question, malayo ang bus station from Petronas.  More than 10 stations ang layo, it will take you mga 30 - 45 mins. kasi lilipat ka ng ibang train.  Pag taxi aabot ka ng mga less than RM20.  Ang last na byahe usually before 12 midnight.  And yes, alam ko meron bus, Starmart (http://www.journeymalaysia.com/ptagenting.htm).
