hassle talaga ang transition from rebonded to naturally curly. tali mo na lang muna hangang ma-reach mo ang comfortable length for you, then chop off the rebonded part.

Hi girls! I'm a new member and i just did the big chop! Yey! I dont like my haircut though, it's shoulder length and looks dated. Can anyone recommend a good hairstylist that's good in cutting curly hair? Sobrang hirap mghanap and i end up spending too much  :(
On a side note, all your curls look amazing.. Hoping to achieve those glossy perfect curls soon! :)

^^^ Splash Hair Setting Lotion is tried and tested (by my mum and me). Been using it since I was 12 (about 2 decades ago) It's good in defining curls and taming frizzy hair.
I bought this na,   Sis.  Thanks for the recommendation.   Ill alternate this with Monea siguro.

Anyway,  how do you apply this?  Any suggested techniques?  Do you comb this thru with your fingers or just scrunch up the hair?

Excited na ako to try eh.  :)

Gamit ko ngayon either Nivea (blue can) or Monea.

Day 1 - sulfate free shampoo, silicone free conditioner and very cheap hair treatment from watson. I let it dry without any hair cream. - result, straight sa top, wavy sa bottom

Day 2 - silicone free conditioner, then scruch with hair cream. Very moist yung effect sa hair - result, mejo loose spiral

Day 3 - as is pag gising.

Then back to day 1 na.

Shampoo - giovanni triple treat with tea tree, pero pag naubos na, kahit ano na lang siguro basta sulfate free and may tea tree (good for dandruff problems)

Conditioner - alternate ng natures gate from healthy option (day 1),  hhn (day 2), suave naturals if I need to shower at night due to pollution or exercise.

Deep conditioner / treatment - hair treats sa watson (argan variant)

Hair cream - organix morocan curling cream. Day 2 lang naman to.

Day 1 - http://m.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=611836322165806&id=100000183312483&set=a.158202414195868.53689.100000183312483&refid=17

Day 2 - http://m.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=572800359402736&id=100000183312483&set=a.487807077902065.144422.100000183312483&refid=17

Sana maview. First time ko magpost ng link.

^ Can't view the 2nd pic but ganda ng loose curls mo! Mine naman I use the ff:

Shampoo - hair grower shampoo from derma (I only shampoo every other day)

Conditioner - I alternate these three: Watson's beer hair treatment, HHN strengthning condi and Herbal Essences Color Me Happy

Weekly treatment: HHN hair mask (I also use this on days that I have to blow dry/iron my hair)

Setting product - Splash hair polish (fave! Much better than Monea), Dove serum (if I want messy, laid back hair) Finesse mousse (for when I straighten my hair)

naturally wavy ang hair ko. nung hs ako inis na inis ako sa buhok ko kasi kung san san pumupunta. so from college til nung nag wowork nako nirerelax ko sya. hanggang naisip ko  na itigil na ang pag paparelax kasi magastos at nakakadamage ng buhok. nagcocolor din kasi ako eh. mas pinili ko color then let go na yung relaxing. plus, i want to go back to being wavy again. ang secret lang pala ay wag suklayin after maligo. madaming naiinggit sa hair ko ngayon. kala nila nagpakulot ko. ako naman masaya kasi wavy na nga, naging mas shiny, less damaged pa sya.

pero di talaga maiiwasan ang bad hair days. ok lang, i have my scrunchy.

Mga sis, saan kayo nagpapagupit? I want sana stylist na nag-dry cutting. Or can I suggest kaya sa stylist ko na dry cutting ang gawin? What to do.. What to do..  :-\

Btw, I have humabang-pixie hair (had my pixie cut last year, bagal tumubooo!).

OR one length?  Ano style ang sinasabi nyo sa hairdresser?

thanks sis!

^ i think sis, mas maganda kung layered para hindi maging fluffy masyado. kasi kapag one length parang triangle ang labas nun. or baka sobrang kulot at kapal lang talaga ng buhok ko, kaya chaka sakin. :D
