ako pag aalis lang gumagamit ng mga products kasi lalo maglalagas at mgdry ang hair ko eh pag palagi nag aapply ng ganito what i do is i used monea and a little bit of hairgel i rubbed it together then i apply on my hair and letting it air dry un na ang look ko. pero pagsasakay ng jeep extra challenge kasi humahampas ang hair ko s face ko which i don't like kaya i end up in a ponytail. argh.

^ true sis.. nakakadamage pag pinastay yung mousse or kung ano pang styling hair product sa hair.

i've discovered nakakatame pala ang oil sa hair . lapit na maging straight yung hair ko lol  from frizzy to straight.  ;D

we want what we don't have.  ::)  ako fine, thin and stick straight and my sister's hair is curly, parang digiperm, i used to envy her hair as in i love the texture, the volume the curls! tapos yung akin limp and straight and no body or volume. booo. boring. even if I bun it after a while straight na ulet :(

we went to a salon to have mine permed and then hers naman straightened, i kept asking her not to rebond it :( as in naiiyak ako nung inaapply na yung gamot sakanya. sayang kasi :(

and now i love my curly hair!! super low maintenance kesa nung straight yung buhok ko. i always worry about fly aways kasi and how to volumize my hair, now after shower, squeeze exces water, apply products, twist and scrunch and then forget about it. haha vavavoom hair after! sana naturally curly rin ako :( my son's hair is curly rin and I love his curls, although pinakalbo namin siya para kumapal daw buhok. cannot wait to have a daughter with natural curly hair!!

kaya gurls, tamang maintenance and products lang ang katapat ng curly hair! embrace your curls! wag na magparebond lol.  ;)

Hello, fellow curly sisses.

I'm currently very much in love with my hair. :) Sobrang uso kasi.

As usual, I just use a rich conditioner and apply hair setting lotion after shower. Then if I have time, I finger-twirl while blowdrying to have more defined curls like what I have here:

Pag tinaramad naman, air dry na lang. Super haba na nag hair ko kaya medyo mabigat and hindi na ganun ka-curly unless twirled:

I agree with sis Ainge88, low maintenance ang curly hair. Wash and wear lang talaga. :)

Hi sisses, I have natural wavy hair.

I have naturally wavy hair.. to me hndi gumagana ang mousse ,, lalo na after ko nagpaperm na pangit yung kinalabasan  :P  yung kulot pa naman is from root to tip!  >:( but now I'm trying to grow it na so parang natural na lang talaga na wavy yung hair ko , so wavy on the top and curly sa baba parang nagblend na man ..

naparegister ako because of this thread. ang hirap ng transition ng rebonded to natural hair. pero nainspire ako kay bugs. kasi same length kami if ever pa-chop off ko na yung rebonded hair ko.

^ I feel great,  sis,  knowing I somehow influenced you into embracing your curls back.  Ako din,  meron ding big influence sa akin na nagpachange ng outlook ko about curls.  And no regrets talaga.

Yung isang friend ko,  nagparebond.  Bidang bida sha nung una.  She was even egging me na magparebond na din,  kasi nga,  pawala na yung relaxed hair ko.

I decided otherwise and learned the art of fixing our curls... ayan tuloy,  sha ang inggit na inggit ngayon sa kulots ko!

ganda talaga ng kulots natin.  Parang lagi tayong aattend ng party pag kulot diba.  :)

Whoa! I like your hair, nice curls. It's oh-so Lena Katina for me!

I like to have that hair rather than the frizzy ones, yung parang magulo tingnan.

Yung microfiber towel, san part ng mall nakikita yun? Sa towel section o dun sa health and beauty. I'm on my third day of letting my hair down and breath. Excited for the weekend to experiment with products. Kala nung officemate ko nung nasa cr kami, nagpasalon kami.

Anyway, concious pa din ako, pero tingin ko attitude lang need ko to rock this 'do.

monea pa lang natry ko sis :) and it seems to do a decent job, holds the curls well and not crunchy (if you put in the right amount for your hair)

Another good hair lotion for defini curls and not have that crunchy feeling is fekkai :) i love love this. Although a bit expensive and not locally available but it is worth it. It gives me the definition i get from a mousse and the touchability i get from a lotion like monea. :)

Sis Kwang Sun, thank you. :) Maganda kasi pag medyo mahaba, di ba? Parang mermaid lang.  ;D

Sis Ainge88, thank you. Nakiki-feeling straight hair din ako noon when I was having a rebond regularly.  :)

Sis Bugs, I agree. Pang-party nga ang dating pag curly hair. Sexy bedhead 'do is also easy to achieve. :)

Sis Molybdenum, mine tends to get frizzy din pag hindi moisturized.

Sis Lady Avoidant, when I was still living in the Philippines, I was using Splash Hair Setting Lotion. It's cheap and effective.

Monea din works for me best.   Okay din yung Curls Up ng FX.  Meron sa Watsons MOA and sa Market Market Metro...
Pero for 99php a bottle,  mas sulit talaga ang Monea.

question lang, pag nasa bahay lang kayo, let's say during the weekend, di nyo na nilalagyan ng mga products yung hair nyo? parang oa naman kung everyday naka-monea yung hair, baka di maka-breath.

share ko lang ginagawa ko while transitioning from rebonded to curly. while my hair is wet, kina-cut ko unti unti [textspeak!] rebonded na part, making sure na [textspeak!] hair sa nape part (which is also pinakamahaba) ay hindi ma-cut, para maintain pa din yung length. since layered naman ang hair ko, di halata kung may nababawas na rebonded part. tapos yung straight nga sa nape part,  naitatago na ng curls. nakaka-excite na totally mawala na yung straight part.
