nice naman ang curly or wavy hair. buti at naayos na problem you. for me, I trust Sunsilk shampoo because they’ve turned to experts like Yuko Yamashita who understands the value of straight hair, or other hair types for the other experts, and knows exactly what to do to maintain or improve it.

@sheenaQ how much yung monea and loreal? hindi ba malagkit/matigas? madalas din ako naka-pony tail(as in pusod) dahil mainit. inaaway din ako ng mga officemates ko before kasi ang ganda naman daw ng hair ko, bakit ko tinatago.

sis Monea curl defining milk lotion is worth 95php lang sa watsons,ok iapply sa damp hair then air dry hindi stiff or sticky sa hair, basta enough lang ang amount na i-aapply
Loreal power curl creme(white bottle w/orange cap) was bought for me by my sister I think mga 350-400+php siya, tagal na kasi nun, pero medyo tricky iapply this loreal, minsan sobrang sticky sa hair, minsan naman parang hindi intact yung mga curls ko when I use this, nabubuhaghag ba..kaya I use monea madalas! its cheap lang naman kaya i tried this, sayang yung citre shine maganda pa naman,as in buo ang curls and parang my lift and bounce yung curls ko!! kaya i tried to look for an alternative, yung white citre shine gel,big bottle worth 200+ may orange ding variant w/c i think has more control or mas harder kapag nagdry sa hair...kaya white/clear lang yung binili ko ayoko ng stiff o matigas sa hair,ok nman siya, kasi nahold nya yung curls ko,buo pa rin..

Im born with a naturally curly sorta frizzy hair.. then nagparebond ako.. sabi nila mas bagay daw sakin ang straight ang hair.. pero kasi nga di ba.. ang hirap i-maintain.. ngayon nga tumutubo na ulit yung buhok ko.. and I want it to be curly nalang.. medyo mahaba na din yung hair ko.. lampas shoulder length na.. what do you girls suggest? :)

^nag-try din ako magpa-rebond before, then nagsawa ako. ang hassle kasi. nagd-dry if hindi ko nilalagyan ng leave-on tapos lagi pang split-ends. then pag tumubo na ulit [textspeak!] natural curly/wavy hair, ang pangit na. so ayun, i let my curls be. about sa frizz naman, im always on the look out sa mga anti-frizz and curl defining products. like yung sinabi ni sis @sheenaQ i bought monea last week. its good for everyday use since its cheap lang naman and it holds my curls better than splash hair polish. next time ill try citre naman.

But so far, I'm loving it! :D

Mga sisses I uploaded pics of my kulot na hair. Naturally curly ako and I am currently using Pantene oil replacement therapy perfect curls as a conditioner and leave on. Di ko alam if meron dian sa atin (I am here in Dubai). What I do is I apply it then I take sections of my hair and pinipilipit ko. I still experience bad hair day when my hair will poof like cotton candy (kainis) but that does not stop me from loving my curly hair :)

Try nyo mga sis. It's found in Watson's and mga 200 lang sya :)

Thanks sis! naku di mo lang alam, sobrang frizzy ng hair ko, feeling ko nga I have one of the frizziest hair in the world, no kidding! I think It is just about how we take care of our hair. Ang ginagawa ko after towelling my hair dry I rake my hair with pantene's oil replacement therapy right away tapos pinipilit ko sia into sections para lang di bumuhaghag, ayun goldilocks effect ang nangyayari. Am planning on coloring my hair also, kasi mas maganda kapag may kulay, but not really loud, maybe something subdued lang. ganyan din ako dati sa iyo, laging nakapony, but as you become more confident with your curls you will see, mailaladlad mo rin yan. Just find the right product and regimen and I guarantee you na maeenjoy mo ang curly hair :)

sabi ng friends ko mas bagay daw sakin straight hair, pero i think dahil hindi ko lang maayos yung hair ko nung curly ako kaya yun yung feedback nila. buhaghag kasi hair ko eh, and frizzy. i wanted to perm din kaso i'm scared na baka sumobra. i'm tired of rebonding na din kasi, sakit sa bulsa and minsan bothersome na ang maintenance. help naman sisses, i really want to learn how to take care of my curly hair na eh. :(

hi everyone! I am also endowed and blessed to have a natural curly hair. I said blessed because I get good compliments about it and it never occurred to me to have it straightened or rebonded. I am just simply proud of it. I always wear my hair long ever since. Good thing, I don't have that buhaghag or super frizzy type of curly hair, mine is tamed and manipis lang especially when it's still wet. I only use creamsilk conditioner and a curl enhancing mousse. It makes my locks super soft and more defined. I would never ever trade what I have with a stick straight hair. I believe that having curls are much more sexier and can make one even more beautiful. Let's embrace our locks ladies! Kodus to us.

Naku sis yan ang dilemma ko noon. when I tell people how bad my hair looked like before, akala nila niloloko ko sila. It took me a while before I finally found my style. You know Salma Hayek's natural hair? That kind of hair, if not properly managed can look like a bird's nest. The key is to find the right product, find the hairstyle you feel most comfortable with. This is what I do: After towelling my hair dry (do it gently and AVOID rubbing your hair!) I position it ala Sadako (hehe, for want of a better desription)you know, yung bangs nasa harap lahat tapos yung hair parted in the middle na nakaladlad into both sides of your face. Then I take a couple pea size amount of pantene oil replacement therapy (my hair is bra length), rub my hand then rake it in my hair. I do it left side first concentrating sa ends ng hair. Then couple pea sized amount ulit, rake my hair sa right side naman then half pea size of hair product for my bangs. I then flip my hair back to position gently ( I do this like nakatungo ka then you face the mirror, I hope you got what I mean) finger comb my hair then I take small sections than I twist my hair. Twist twist twist na ako until almost my whole head of hair is now twisted in neat ropes (cos it looked like ropes after :) ) This takes me about 5 to 8 minutes tops. air dry lang ako and when my hair dries yung ropes ala goldilocks na tignan. I dont use ipit or barettes anymore. But if you ladies still feel conscious with your curly hair, try this style, this never fails me and I always get compliments when I do this to my hair :)  I hope it does for you too!

^ang ganda ng hair mo sis. Pareho pala tayo ng ginagamit, creamsilk lang and curl enhancing mousse when I go out. I dont rinse the creamsilk conditioner na, good thing I don't get dandruffs or anything naman. I wanna share my pic too and my sis. thanks sis. =) Yes sis, I agree. It's really difficult to maintain a curly hair, dapat it's always well-moisturized para di buhaghag. We should also use wide toothed combs so as not to destroy the locks and keep it flowy at all times. I love my hair and we always stand out in a crowd filled with stick straight hair people. Mainly our main assets! =)

sige sis, upload your pic later so we can see too. Don't be too harsh on yourself naman sis. Siguro you just still have to find the right products for your hair so you could learn to love your natural curls. When I was a kid, my classmates would usually tease me 'negrita' because of my curly hair. I can't blame them because I still don't know how to tame and manage my locks back then. Pero now, it has been my major asset. =) I get to be a head turner because of it. hahaha. =) Sige lang sis, keep on discovering new products that can do wonders for your hair.
