How much are tuitions fees in preparatory schools nowadays?

Big school na baby ko... From Integrated Montessori Center to Lourdes School of Mandaluyong, just enrolled him for Kinder 2(Prep) 68k++ exclusive of books and uniform.  The school supplies I think inclusive na, not sure yet.

My son is enrolled at LSQC (Lourdes School Quezon City) for Kinder 2. 45k inclusive of school supplies and bag. Books were almost 2k.

we went to little archers moa yesterday and medyo hindi accommodating yung receptionist nila.  and add to that, ang ingay sa location nila sa moa.  nasa top list ko pa naman sila pero sobrang ingay talaga doon, sumakit ulo namin.

We enrolled our preschooler at Angel's of the Lord School of Taguig. For PREP, tuition + misc including books is 38,750. Uniform costs 400+ per pair.

Anyone here knows how TF in Manila Cathedral School in Tayuman for Nursery & Kinder?

My daughter just finished her kindercamp program at gymboree  and so far in 4 weeks 12 sessions yun super laki ng improvements ng child ko. She used to be so sensitive about loud music and sounds and afraid to be on crowd. But now very happy talaga ako sa improvement nya. 

So me and hubby decided to enroll her for Gymboree Preschool program
Their tuition fee is  P90,000. And ang kagandahan nyan is grooming kit lang dadalhin nila on their first day of school.

Pero ngyon pa lang ngsscout na ako ng big school for her

Any advice mommies? I'm thinking about Miriam College or Poveda any comparison/advice mommies you can give?

^my daughter attended too Gymboree's preschool program then moved to Poveda last year. In terms of tuition i think MC is cheaper. For poveda Kinder 2 last year, it's php 120k. Uniforms not included. They don't have books. For Grade 1, it's php 135k + uniforms then no books too. Compared to other schools, classes in Poveda is smaller. About 35 students per class, then only 4 section per year level. They (at least for the lower grades, not sure for higher ones), don't have homework and instead would allot a time in school called IW.

When are you planning to enroll her? Based kasi with feedback I got, there are less available slots for Grade 1 as compared to K2. Like the year my daughter applied, a friend's daughter was applying for grade 1 as well. My friend was worried cause there were only 4slots available. For my daughter's batch there was about 20 slots if I remember correctly.

Thanks sis hunny for the reply. Rhis year sa Gymboree Pre-K na siya and  for next year kinder 1 to Poveda sana. Does the school (Poveda) also offers school bus for the kids or hatid sundo talaga dapat? And when you enrolled your child, how early did you go to the school to get forms. As what I have learned is that you need to reserve slots daw. May month ba na sinasabi ang school when to reserve or get forms?

^of course may bus! Not everyone are chauffeured by drivers. i know some students who live in acropolis and valle who takes the bus. You can ask the office at the Lanuza lobby. Usually too the service has a table during enrolment so you can inquire. My daughter took the bus last year but this year my husband will drop her off in the morning cause if bus susundo, she'll be picked up at 6am for her 740 class.

With the whole k-12 program, the Pre-k of Gymbo is equivalent to Kinder 1 in Poveda. So with my daughter, from Gymbo's Pre-K, she entered Poveda at K-2. Call Poveda when do they release the forms. From what I remember my daughter took her exams somewhere October ata. Then results were released sometime January/February (I remember this cause AC released theirs earlier and I got in on my husband's bday and that was december hehe). That late cause they will only know by January/Feb on how many slots they'll open. This is dependent on how many current student will still apply for the ff year (they have to pay php 10k reservation fee).

I don't remember paying reservation. I was asked to pay the tuition (can be annual or semi) by a certain date (march ata). Mabilis Lang when I enrolled her. Didn't even take 10mins.

Btw, yesterday at the grade 1 parents orientation, i discovered there 5 sections already. They added a new section so a lot of new students this year.

To Add: when you call the school, ask when is their Open House (I think they have 2 per year). Try to go and bring your daughter too so she can get the feel of the school.

 Oh wow. Many thanks for all your advice and tips sis hunny. I will definitely go to their open house so that  my daughter would also enjoy as I did  when I enrolled her to gymboree. Super happy talaga ako  for knowing all these from you. I am crossing my fingers and would really be very glad if my daughter will be at poveda.

sis, same pala tayo yung middle son ko din Lourdes nagaaral. may idea ka how much tuition sa STC?..along street lang naman Lourdes and mga 2-3 blocks away lang naman ang STC very accessible.

^sis beatrize, what level is your son in LSQC? Yep, I know where STC is. my 3yo daughter goes to OLL CDC infront of STC. For the tuition, depends ata what level but based on a thread I read here, parang cheaper than LSQC ang TF ng STC

^ i haven't checked the OLL CDC di ko to masyado napapansin pag dumadaan ako ng STC, sabi naman ng mom ko mas mataas ang STC sa LSQC. nag scouscout na kasi ko ng school fo my dau, kinder next year. grade 1 naman middle son ko dyan sa LSQC. baka mag ka neighbor lang din tayo ah?
