How much are tuitions fees in preparatory schools nowadays?

nakakalula naman yang mga tuition na yan. ako graduate ako sa public school ng elem at high school, then private naman sa college. ok naman naka graduate naman ako. yung dalawa kong kapatid nag private school nung pre-school, i don't know pero mas matino ako sa kanila in terms of education. lol. kung ano lang kaya ng bulsa nyo dun nalang kayo, wag nyo pilitin kung di kaya sa mahal. at wag nyo gawing status symbol anak nyo. lol ))

^good for you sis, siguro yun positive experience mo will guide your decision pag time na mag-school ng anak mo. Kagaya siguro na may nag-guide na factors sa decision making ng iba pa na mommies saan school ipapasok ang anak nila.

My daughters are 3 and 4. In San Lorenzo Paranaque tuition for nursery traditional is 30k+ i believe and 40k+ in Junior Casa.
Last year in Westfield International in Angeles City toddler and nursery progressive for them is 85k and 90k respectively..

I hate progressive.. Im much happier with traditional and montessori..

i enrolled my son in ingenium marikina in senior nursery. he has matured a lot since his toddler years. he is more expressive and talks a lot. tuition fee is 74k annually. i was a bit surprised with the price of tuition fee but when i saw the classrooms and how my son reacted to his new school, i would say the fee is worth every penny

^sis, what made you hate progressive preschools?

feeling ko sis nadikdik ng nadikdik sa nonsense un anak ko lalo na nursery. Toddlers talagang playschool lang sila dba. Pero un nursery ko nalito na. Andami "centre" ng progressive. Reading centre; phonetcs etc bukod pa sa theme nila for the sem. Ang nangyari ang dami gusto ituro agad sa kids without mastery. Sa quantity nagfocus instead of mastery and quality.

Right now sa new school un kids ko andami ng alam at the same time master nila lessons kasi hindi minadali. Esp. In montessori. Un bunso ko imo montessori ko din next year then grade one kundi sa ibang bansa e sa ateneo or miriam.

sis regarding sa chiang kai iba iba ang tuition nila since magulo din ang preschool nila hehe may montessori, special, at may regular. kung regular lang aim mo sya ang pinaka cheaper sa are

Hi mga sis, magpapaaral na ko ng panganay kong toddler ko next year. E nalito naman ako sa ilang posts. Ano ang difference ng:

Montessori
at
Progressive?

ako kasi nung bata ako sa center ako nag-aral ng nursery tapos nung kinder to prep sa Christian school naman (which wala namang special don so I guess traditional tawag don).

Hi to all mommies,

I'm very new in this forum but decided to find some answers to those mommies  who are taking their kids to St. Pedro Poveda. My baby shoudl be enrolled in preschool by 2013.

Anyone can have a hint of how much is the tuition fee now for preschool in Poveda?
Secondly,  do they have school service for kids around qc let's say our house is located edsa corner west avenue. We do have a driver but not for everyday.

I wont be sending my daughter to school this school year yet but I will enroll her in ISYC's summer program this May. 3 weeks daw and 2 batches, there's one in April and another in May. 8k for 3 weeks. Not bad considering it covers snacks, 1 field trip, and all the materials for their activities. I will hold off enrolling her in Gymboree Music muna and we'll try this muna.
