How much are tuitions fees in preparatory schools nowadays?

I'm from pasay. and proximity-wise, little archers at moa is the nearest... Anybody tried it there already?  My apprehension is that it is located inside the mall, wouldn't that send confusing impression about school/mall to my child?

We're scheduled for trial class at Kids in Day School next week, and my kid is quite excited about it.  Hope all goes well.    I chose this school over the ones in Salcedo/Legaspi Village because of the "homey" and not "building" atmosphere.

^ may i comment sis ha tama yun ipasok natin mga anak natin sa kaya ng budget natin pero maayos na school pa rin. Maaari kasi na sa ngayon afford pa pero ilan taon mag aaral kaya dapat yun kayang isustain na dun papag-aralin. Para d rin palipat-lipat ng school. Buti at may nakita ka na malapit sa area mo dito sa area namin e reasonable na ang 100k tuition kaya medyo lalayo kami. 70k lang budget ko sa TF kasi may baon pa, school projects,field trips, minsan may costumes pa, atbp so 150k/ school yr yun na total budget ko.

i'm also interested in KIDS. how old is your kid na? i still haven't decided whether to enroll my daughter in the coming school year. she's turning 3 pa lang kasi this may baka maaga pa. when i ask her kasi, sometimes she says she wants to go to school na. i'm thinking of enrolling her sa summer class muna to see.

Hi Mommies! Our family had a sudden decision to sell our house here in Imus, Cavite and move to Proj. 4 Quezon City. Late April na nung nagdecide so sobrang nataranta talaga ako when I realized the need to look for a pre-school in QC. I want to express my gratitude to this forum because it helped me a lot in my last minute scouting. Sobrang nadalian ako maghanap ng trusted pre-schools around the area. Ang bilis ko nakagawa ng list ng pre-schools to consider because of the reviews and recommendations. I know we all want the best for our children, but some of us ay may financial limitations talaga.Like sa Cavite yung 35k magandang school na, 50k authentic montessori na, 60k international school na tapos pagdating sa QC yung 50k nagtitipid na. Baka kasi may ibang mommies din dyan na gusto muna matantsa if may chance ba na kayanin ng budget or not yung school before actually calling. Naka-reserve na sana kami sa Kinderhaus, Sr. Nursery, at gustong-gusto ng daughter ko dun kaso lately lang nagsink-in na mahirap magcommute everyday from Proj 4 lalo na pagnagtag-ulan na. Buti nalang umabot kami nung tuesday sa last slot ng Vertical Class (Nursery) ng Learning Tree   Enrolled na kami  Yey!! Ulit nga ng Nursery yung baby ko, kaka-4 lang kasi, ayaw tanggapin na kinder, strict pala talaga sa age ang mga pre-school sa QC. Pero ok lang, atleast mas maaabsorb niya yung basics, galing kasi kami ng traditional school.

^sis, maitanong ko na rin ah... for the preschool kasi, we plan on sending our child to a progressive school like this one sana nga Montessori. But after that, we are thinking of sending her to a traditional school, how is that going to affect the learning abilities of my child? masyado bang malaking adjustments for her? or pag nag-Montessori na, stick to that method na dapat? what's a strategic move? I am thinking if sending her to Assumption College sana or CSA, pag start na ng grade 1 onwards eh.
