Chocolate Bars wholesale supplier (aside from chocolate lovers)

HI mga sis may alam ba kayong factory ng chocolate bars and other bakery supplies? My friends and I are planning kasi to put up bakery supply business.. HELP me please

Sweetcraft along Boni Ave. in Mandaluyong!!!  wag ka lang pupunta ng sunday kasi closed sila (like nangyari samin nung valentines day, magbabaking bonding sana kami ni bf e sarado pala sila). one entrance is all packaging, the other one is all raw materials.  yung chocolate bars nila iba ibang kinds of chocolate, and meron pa nga ibang colors like green, yellow and red!  marami din sila ibang stuff like fruit fillings, etc. and the usual basics like flour etc.

to get there, from edsa, take the tunnel to boni avenue (boni mrt station), and it's on the right side, in front of a school, RTU yata yun. have fun!

same ba sila ng brand ng chocolates na binebenta sa chocolate lovers?

meron sila parang generic (no brand) na mas mura, and meron din more expensive ones, depende sa kind, may brand yung iba.  i don't know what brands they have at chocolate lovers e, it's been years since i was last there.  ever since sweetcraft opened never na ko bumalik don, mas malapit kasi samin.

tomorrow am actually going to try and visit Chef's Nook, also in mandaluyong, on pilar street, sa may shaw/san juan area.  they have supplies and a wide variety of chocolate din daw so i want to check them out too.

was at chef's nook this pm. as in "nook" talaga siya.  really small space and konti lang talaga ang makikita mo, mejo mahal pa.  the place is a little hard to find on pilar street, probably kasi iba iba ang numbers, but if you plan to visit, it's more on the shaw-honda side of pilar street.  malapit lang sa palabas sa shaw but since one way, you have to go around.  sweetcraft pa rin ang bagsak namin!


if tipid mode ka and bulk talaga bibilin mo, try mo na lang sa quiapo, mas mura pa kaysa sa chocolate lovers yung ibang ingredients.

yup! mejo OT na, but i love it because when i go there andun na lahat, hindi lang yung baking supplies mismo like chocolate or flour, pati na rin what you'll need for whatever you'll make/bake. pag tinatamad ka nga to decorate let's say a cake or cupcake, meron na silang available na edible toppers for different themes.

way back in high school, gustong gusto ko gumawa at magebnta ng chocolates.. now i just want to eat hehe.

^okay lang kahit di wholesale! kaso mga blocks ang benta, not pieces. pwede tiyagain sa pagputol. hehe.  natuwa ako last na punta ko meron sila nung beryl's na brand.

update din, napuntahan ko kanina baker's depot sa robinson's metro east.  mejo mas mahal konti yung chocolate pero marami din choices ng amounts.  meron silang branches sa galleria, starmall, and waltermart makati.

i went at sweetcrafts last week and ok sila kasi convenient and nearer our place - plus, the price is almost the same (if not the same) with choco lovers.  the brand of choco is mayfair which is actually the same manufacturer ng nova which is what choco lovers is selling.  mas complete lang ang choco lovers sa packaging materials but sa mga ingredients, parang same lang

actually, sis me_love_havies, choco moulding sya.  kung yung chocolate mismo ang gagawin mo, madugong proseso yun, hehe...anyway, about choco moulding, it's very easy kung one color lang.  ang mahirap yung more than one color like this one:

with baker's depot? ah, mas mahal pala talaga sa chocolate lovers than sweetcraft.  pero i agree okay na rin yung mall branches ng bakers depot kasi marami naman choices.

pag one color lang, melt mo lang tapos pour sa mould then lagay sa freezer, ok na.  wala ng timplahan.  yung more than one color, mahirap kasi iisa-isahin mo per color, per cavity

ah.. kasi napadaan ako sa baker's depot ata yung name ng store.. basta yung sa galleria, sabi lalagyan pa daw butter? i was under the impression talaga na as is na yung chocolotes when you melt and mold so post kaagad ako sa forum hehe

i dunno with adding butter pero when i attended the class, ang sabi ng chef was to add CBC (or CBG, di ko maalala) - para syang lard, hehe.  what it does is it helps you achieve yung desired texture sa chocoloate para madaling ipour - nagiging thinner sya.  but i tried naman before na as is, mas thick but it still works

okay! kala ko bakers depot kasi mga 8-10 bucks yung layo niya sa prices sa sweetcraft.  understandable naman kasi they have to pay higher rent sa malls.  tagal ko na din kasi di nakapunta ng chocolate lovers e, and last ko na punta don parang walang laman masyado yung place.  makabisita nga ulit minsan.

hi.. still new here.. my napuntahan ako sa Killion St. in Quiapo. Harap ng Killion Merchandising. Nuts Store yung name ng store. retail (1kilo)/wholesale orders ng chocolate...- dark, semi-sweet, bittersweet, regular, premium, white chocolate... pati colored white chocolate and mga choco drops meron dun... pati nuts meron sila.. and mga dried mushrooms...
i find their chocolates more firm (parang watery [textspeak!] un sa Chocolate Lovers.. madali madurog kapag icut na) and much cheaper than that of Chocolate Lovers.
