ako naman, I love SM malls. I haven't had any bad experience with them and I've been to different SM malls nationwide. I have also exchanged items several times, mabilis naman ang service.

Even when we bought a unit, mabilis and smooth din ang naging transaction naman with the agent. Sana tuloy-tuloy ang smooth dealings namin with SMDC even until after the turnover of unit.

Napaka Panget ng ayos ng mga unit dito.  Studio unit is 20 sq meters lahat ng units pare-pareho.  So if you want let's say 2 bedrooms and 60 sq meters, 3 ang bathroom mo sa pare-parehong location... para talagang nag dorm ka  at mahal naman di mura

just to update you mga sis kung gaano ka walang kwenta ang customer service ng SMDC, we've started our refund process before pa kami umuwi ng philippines in time for my baby's bday, that was Oct 18 last year, nakipagmeeting pa kami sa kanila ng Nov 18 and they promised na before daw kami umalis ng Dec 13 ibibigay na yung refund namin but hanggang ngayon under process pa rin ang ang aming refund.... haaaayyy nako talaga.... tapos initially I was in contact with a manager, nung una nag eemail pa later on hindi ko na macontact sa email or kahit sa phone, anong klase yun?!?!

kahit ang customer service nila hindi man lang kami iniinform sa status, nagkandahanap talaga ko sa internet ng pwede tawagan to get updates.... Hindi na talaga ko uulit sa SM!

Hay ganyan mahirap sa mga refunds. Kahit sa airlines or anywhere else, more often than not, pahirapan kumuha ng refund. That's why, I think many many times before doing a big purchase. ayaw ko ma-perwisyo sa huli.

^thanks sis! yun na nga kaya nga we really evaluated all our options before investing with them, so sobrang frustrated talaga kami when after going through all the hassles in dealing with them, lalo na in our case we don't live in the Philippines, tapos parang bale wala lahat ng hassles na pinagdaanan namin to finally purchase.  haay nako talaga

Just imagine, what ever kind of service you get from their savemore and SM malls, ganun din ang same service you will get.  If you hate BDO and SM's customer service.  What more can you expect from SMDC? 

In terms of quality, how will I get assured that the condo I will be buying from them is not made of substandard materials when sometimes, I get lantang fruits from their precut fruit assortments sa supermarket.

I'm not planning on purchasing any condo from any developers.  I'm just making a point because I get disappointed ALL THE TIME with BDO and SM supermarket.

same sentiments... i'm also very disappointed with BDO. lousy customer service... last year we made a TD with them for 1 yr and to my dismay, they didn't notified us through letter or even give us a call that our time deposit already matured. unlike bpi-fb, they're really nice & keeps on reminding us thru calls of our td & sda's maturity. so ang nangyari, nagroll-over for another year ulit yun td namin with bdo...

last year we bought a 1 bedroom unit 23.47 sqm at sm jazz makati.. hopefully it will be a good investment.. you cant go wrong with a makati central business district property.. the downside of it is it took them almost a year to release a copy of our contract to sell... sabay sabay rw kc pg pinapa notarize.. well we will see after the turnover if SMDC could live up to our expectations

Our unit in Berkeley Residences in Katipunan has been turned over to us. Okay naman ang pagkakagawa and we were pleasantly surprised to see that the shower head was the 'rain shower' type and the flooring was nice.  The downside to SM condos is the size and configuration of their units.  Lahat parang rectangular ang shape. Another negative factor is BDO (if you plan to get a loan from them) because ang gulo nila kausap.

The company that will manage Berkeley is not SM, though. It's FPD Asia and hopefully, better service than SM.

^ yes, we got a loan from BDO only because they sent a letter saying pre-approved kami. But when we went to talk to the loans officer, dami pa ring delays and they don't coordinate or give an update.  There was an instance pa na the loans officer said that we have to pay a certain amount in any BDO branch and to just bring the letter she sent to us.  Buti na lang we insisted that she tell us how much kasi there was no amount stated. Sabi niya alam na raw ng teller yun. True enough, when we went to the bank, the teller asked kung magkano raw. Duh!

Yun SMDC Jazz Makati yun ba na nasa Reposo?  Ill planned kaya gumagrabe ang trapik sa neighborhood namin  

I've checked some homes na ipinatayo rin noon ng SM company and they were okay but yun mga present ay best hindi na ako mag-comment.  Itanong na lang ninyo sa mga kilala ninyong architects and city engineers about it.

mga sis, have u heard [textspeak!] bagong project ng smdc na green residences [textspeak!] sa may lasalle? may hubby is super interested with the project to the extent na ngbigay n siya ng post dated check for sept2011 as reservation fee kasi nasa letter of intent pa lang daw [textspeak!] project. ganun ba talaga ang process kung nasa letter of intent pa lang? sabi ng agent we have until sept2011 to decide if gusto namin to push through and if not, ibabalik daw sa amin yung check. anyone n nka-experience na ng ganun? nov2014 pa yata yung turn over ng unit if in case matuloy pagkuha namin.
