ako naman bad experience sa SM Jazz. in january they gave me a price estimate, about 1.9M for a 1-BR unit. tapos parang 9k/month lang, 29sqm (balcony included), fully furnished (bed, lcd tv, ref, sofa bed, dining table, etc). good deal right? plus, location, location, location. kahit na tabi ng sementeryo si jazz. at least barangay bel-air pa rin ang address, hahaha.
so when i visited the model unit at MOA, i left a check for the reservation fee na rin for both Jazz and Light. pero naliliitan ako dun sa unit. i read somewhere that a minimum habitable place should be about 30sqm.
come february, during the launch of jazz, nagbago na lahat. di na fully furnished, almost double na ang price, and looking at the floor plans for tower 2, mukhang 4 elevators lang. tower 2 is like 2 towers na pinagdikit. so imagine kung mostly 1 br units yun, kung gano katagal ang elevators aabot sa yo kung aapat lang, considering karamihan ng titira don mga working people.
yung sa light naman, i changed my mind kasi katabi nya ang EDSA: noise pollution, smog, etc. kahit sarado ang windows mo, siguradong pasok pa rin ang alikabok.
i once stayed in a boarding house along jp rizal in makati, walking distance from rockwell, malapit sa poblacion gym/fire station. and from there, naririnig ko pa ang MRT trains pag lumalabas ako ng balcony/roof deck. what more kung dun ka talaga sa train station? hayun, pull-out lahat ng checks. buti na lang magaling yung agent ko, naiurong nya pareho at no cost.
