my lo is 8 mos old, he's using cetaphil restoraderm lotion and body wash. pero nun naubusan kami sa bahay, Johnsons ginamit nya. okay naman di na rough skin nya, anyone experienced the same? iniisip ko kung babalik kami sa cetaphil or okay na to. thanks sisses

I use Dove's soap yung for extra sensitive skin na pang baby. ok naman saken. I tried it lang kasi namamahalan ako sa cetaphil bar and aveeno bar. Buti na lang nahiyang ko din sya. Mura pa.

Because of the change of weather, heto na naman ang skin asthma. Mustela helps but not 100%.

my baby suffered from eczema when she was around 6 months. our pedia recommended us to a pedia-derma, and that doctor recommended momate and cetaphil for eczema (body wash & lotion). nawala yung eczema ni baby within a week. after that, we stopped using momate na and just finished the bottle of body wash but we still use the lotion up to now (1 year old na si baby). we've only bought 2-3 bottles ng lotion, its quite expensive pero matagal naman bago maubos. though im thinking of changing it na since 1 year old na si nga si baby and she's had no signs of eczema ulit. she's been using mustela body wash for her daily bath since birth, which i plan to change na rin.

^ Thanks ! I check S&R but they only have the regular Cetaphil lotion, none for eczema. Will check Mercury

I have Elica Lotion for Skin Asthma, sa baby naman yung ointment. Sa lotion kasi minsan nahahapdian ako kaya for adults lang muna.

Has anyone tried Mustela Stelatopia vs. Physiogel AI?

i use mustela for my child with atopic.  so far his skin is better compared to cetaphil restoraderm which seems to add more to the irritation.  physiogel i use on my face naman.

We are using Mustela now, even tried Aveeno. It doesn't work for us.  I even applied Pawpaw but it didn't work too.  I will try Cetaphil for eczema next . Lush sana but it's too thick for our climate.

My daughter has eczema at 6 mos. Stressed na ako sobra kase bumabalik pag tinitigil ko ng steroid. Niresetahan siya dati ng desonide,pedia.
Nung 2 weeks ayaw maalis, nag pedia derma na kami.
Cutivate for face
Fucicort for chest and arms
Fucidin H for nappy area.
Wash and lotion is restoraderm. Pero pinalitan ko yung wash to dove baby sensitive. Sinubukan ko kase yung restoraderm wash ang hapdi sa mata.
2weeks ulit ganyan, pero bumalik nung 3rd day na tinigil namin.tapps napapraning pa ako kase syempre hindi rin daw maganda na naka corticosteroid ng matagal. Halos umiyak na ako kay derma pedia sabi ko yung restoraderm, resetahan na niya ako ng best na pwede na ireseta. Sabi nia physiogel ai cream.
Ngayon naka cutivate pa rin kami and fucicort. Sana mag ok na baby ko. I even joined eczema support group sa fb. Seems like most positive treatment is about diet. May pailan ilan pa din naman na hindi daw succesful sa kanila dairy-free, gluten-free, elimination diet, eczema diet, aip diet..pero compared sa topical moisturizers, mas mataas naman ang success rate nila. With moisturizer, mukang walang matatawag na "miracle cream" for eczema.

I forgot to update pala our experience. May ezema pa din si baby. Pero mga 1 month ko na tinigil sa corticosteroid. Layer ko  ng lush dream cream, earth mama diaper rash cream (or all good goop) - from healthy options then top with zinc oxide-calamine lotion aka calmoseptine.though gamit namin generic from watson lang. Mga first days naging parang weepy siya.medyo basa na pulang pula.. Good thing hindi nagkakamot si baby. After ng episode na yun, pula pula na lang. Parang dry. Nawala din yung sa ibang area like left chest niya.Medyo inooverhaul ko na din kitchen namin transition to gluten and dairy free.
Now observe ko, there are good days and bad days. Usually bad days if nakakain ako chicken na hindi free range. Breastfeeding kasi kami baka naipapasa  ko. Good days, parang rosy cheeks [textspeak!]. Ngayon hindi pa siya totally magaling sa eczema, okay na sakin to kesa forever mag corticosteroids. People love pa naman elica not knowing may masamang effect yun katagalan. I'm thinking if we have to apply creams forever, i'd rather do it without steroids.
Yung bath niya pala minsan nilalagyan ko ng epsom salt minsan apple cider. Konti lang. So i don't know which exactly sa routine ko ang nakaka tame ng eczema.

Is there a new thread for this topic? My daughter has skin asthma also. 3 months palang sya and ebf. Don't know what to do. Nakakaiyak sobra diko na alam nagtritrigger sa kanya.

^Usually pag mainit. My nephews may skin asthma and lage sila sa ac. Nung wala pa silang ac lageng nagfflare up talaga.

Diluted lavender essential oil is effective for my niece's skin asthma.
