Sis, I think better na ipatingin mo na lang either sa pedia or sa derma yang baby mo. Mahirap mag-self-medicate, lalo na very tender pa ang skin ng baby. Only a professional can give you sound advice.

skin asthma is not really a medical term...

eczema is usually the recurring atopic dermatitis, brought about by an allergic history (asthma is an allergy)...for mild eczema/skin asthma, constant application has done wonders for my eczema (in the right middle finger, as in yung spot na yun lang!)

and I now see a good allergologist  to help me manage my allergies...our allergies pala kasi my son too

anong clobetasol cream ang gamit mo and where sya nabibili? i had this before, effective talaga...sa derma galing. pero yun gamot sa kanya lang nabibili. i want to know kung may equivalent na nabibili sa drugstores.

Hi mga sis, ive had skin asthma all my life mag 26 years na :'( i really hate it and it triggers pag dusty then mainit plus pawis ,also from too much balahibo + init and pawis. Iv'e tried lots of topical meds already lahat naman worked but eventually naiimune din yung skin sa gamot kaya kailangan mag change. Ang hirap specially with my work, magaling lang talaga ako maghide and nasanay na ko not to scratch it if it starts to itch. Maputi na ko kaya im thingking if ill try the IVG saka diba bawala na ba yun ngayon?nakakasubside ng kati niya now for me is diprolene na gamit ko na dince high school and oil na pinapahid ko as lotion. Ang hirap ng may skin asthma  :'(. If may mga suggestions kayo mga sis or doctors that really can help please pm me. TIA!

Hi sis..try mo magpacheck up kay Dra. Corcoran..magaling siya..i had severe skin asthma before..as in ang pangit ng skin ko sa arms..pero nawala..kala ko nga hopeless na e..pero as in nawala talaga yun mga butlig..ngayon scars na lang pero eventually mawawala na rin to..every wednesday 2-7pm siya sa tophealth sm centerpoint. binigay niya sa kin vanicream, robathol oil, oatmeal soap, hydrocort cream for my face, saka matrix 5000 at prednisone tabs and cetirizine..imagine 3 days pa lang may improvement na skin ko..ngayon kahit mainitan at maalikabukan ako..hindi ako nangangati..tapos ngayon nagtatake ako ng evening primrose oil..smooth na skin ko..im happy na..nakakawala kase ng confidence at self esteem pag may skin asthma e..especially if exposed yun area..pero at least ngayon ok na.. 8)

Hello po mga sis!  I have an eczema for almost 12 years now, lumabas siya nung nag-18 ako, now that I'm 30 meron pa rin. eczema runs in my family, my mom does have it as well as her deceased father and her older sister. I went to different dermatologists na rin even to Dra. As of the moment, I've been using Dr. Kaufmann's Sulfur soap, effective naman siya sa akin. sorry for the long story :)

^sis you might wanna try Dra. Peachy Paz-Lao. She's really great. Sya nag treat sa skin asthma ng hubby ko and brother. Kahit malala na iyong condition in 3 days time malaki na difference. PM ko sayo her contact number if you want. Her clinic is at Makati Med. She's there from Monday-Saturday 10am-4pm. She prescribed to them Aerius to be taken once a day before bedtime for 7 days and a mixture of ointment which to be made by a pharmacist at Mercury. HTH

This concoction worked for my baby: After bath, Oasis Soothing Oil and Aveeno lotion (green variant).
I don't want to use ointments with steroids as much as possible. Natatakot ako.

My derma recommended that I eat a lot of vegetables and tomatoes too. And also she gave me this vitamin supplement for skin, hair and nails - Matrix 5000. I take it once a day and together with the vanicream lotion and robathol bath oil, awa ng Dyos, skin asthma free na ako. The supplements I think are safe naman for breastfeeding moms. You can ask your OB or your baby's pedia.

Hi sis! Ask ko lang, meron din bang clinic si dra. corcoran sa QC area? Tsaka where can I get the matrix 5000 and robathol? Please PM me na rin her contact #.. Thanks thanks so much in advance! ;D
