I brought my 3 year old niece kay Dra. Loverna Suratos yesterday at Asian. I empathize with my niece kase growing up I had no idea na may eczema ako. Those nights when I wake up super itchy, nakakaiyak kase wala ako idea.

She was diagnosed with skin asthma,medicine was virlix syrup, hydrocortisone cream, physiogel cream and aveeno lotion. At least 1950 lahat pero i know its worth it kase hindi pa bumabalik ang akin since my last attack.

Tiyaga lang sa regimen and within two weeks makita na result. Managaement and maintenance nalang ng lotion afterwards.

mommies help naman, i dont know if this is alarming my 8mos old daughter has this dry pinkish skin patch sa back & arms niya hindi naman siya itchy coz i never notice her scratching it. I asked her pedia abt it sabi lang baka daw skin asthma & she keep on asking us kung may history kami ng asthma, e wala naman. nagpapapalit ako ng milk baka hindi hiyang sa milk, ayaw naman niya she referred us sa allergist. hindi pa lang ako maka sched ng leave sa office para masamahan ko si baby sa allergist. lapit na kasi mag summer, panget naman tingnan kung may skin rash si baby.

^sis, it was during around that time nung magkaron ng same rashes si baby. Circular form ang rashes pero hindi naman makati kasi hindi nga din nya kinakamot.. Our pedia advised us to moisturize baby's skin. It might help if you'll change your baby's soap/shampoo.. What are you using now?

    Hello po. I can relate dito kasi i have skin asthma. Nag try na ako ng cetaphil, oatmeal soap, etc. Nag lalagay din ako ng cream galing sa derma ko kaso inistop ko kasi may steroid. Tsaka sa mga nababasa ko naman parang forever na yata ang condition na ito.. Kaya what i do na lang pag may flare up ako, nilalagyan ko na lang ng sebo de macho. Pero last week ko lang nadiskubre yung sa aloevera. Naglagay ako sa skin ko and wala pa 1 week nag dry n agad!im sooo happy with aloe vera kasi libre lang, naaalis pa ang kati. And feeling ko di pa magpepeklat kasi nalighten na agad. Kaya mga mommies try nyo sa baby nyo ang aloevera sure pang safe kasi wala chemicals. Kaya now balik safeguard ako kasi mura lang heheh..kasi kahit naka mild soap ako, pag sobra init, lamig o stressed, may allergy pa rin. Aloevera na lang pag inaatake ng allergy :D

since birth cetaphil na siya then nag try ako ng baby dove & aveeno after few months naging dry naman skin niya mas naging prominent yung mga rashes so sabi ni pedia ibalik ko sa cetaphil, so up to now naka cetaphil cleanser & moisturizer cream/lotion si baby. Ni recommend ng officemate ko Physiogel lotion, so nag try na rin kami day2 na today parang ganun pa rin.

      hello SIS Happy_Angel sorry di ako maka send or reply ng personal message..bakit kaya?? bago pa lang kasi ako dito kaya di ko pa masyado alam heheeh..
      anyway, yung aloe vera, plant talaga. di ko alam kung san nakakabili nito eh. baka po meron sa mga palengke. meron kasi tanim lola ko hehehhe. inaapply ko lang sya sa rashes before ako matulog, tsaka bago din ako maligo.. nilalagay ko din sya sa face bago  matulog 
      putol ka lang ng mga 2 inches na aloevera tapos i-peel mo  yung balat nya para di ka matusok tapos i-rub mo na sa skin mo.

^try mo sis ang aloe vera as recommended by our sis din dito... mahirap lang ata maghanap ng aloe vera pero it might help.. niresearch ko ito as soon as i've read her post and ang daming article na nagrerecommend ng aloe vera.. i hope this will help solve your baby's skin problem.. gastos din kasi paiba iba ng toiletries

Mga sis! May binigay sa kin sample size ng CETAPHIL RESTORADERM moisturizer specially formulated for management of eczema and atopic dermatitis ang dermatologist ng son ko.. may nakapagtry na ba nito? TIA!!! 

may skin asthma yung son ko, cetaphil lotion gamit niya. after taking a bath yung pahid, so ok naman siya pero this year, parang nagkakaroon pa rin siya sa batok kahit naglolotion kami so nireseta ng pedia itong cetaphil restoraderm, kalula ang presyo kala ko same lang sa cetaphil. almost P1400 siya sa mercury. pero mas effective nga siya, wala rashes yung anak ko. ayaw ko kasi lumala na need ko magpahid ng ointment. triamcinolone lotion ang pinahid ko pag meron siya, yung ang reseta ng derma niya.

        Tama ka yapeegirl ang hirap ng trial and error. Kasi ang treatment na pwede sa isa, di naman hiyang sa isa. Not to mention ang mamahal ng mga hypo allergenic products. Kaya personally, ang saya ko sa effect ng aloe vera. 
        Nakakatakot din kasi uminom ng antihistamine almost everyday. Kaya allergic rhinitis na lang iniisip ko ngayon...may natural remedy ba for this mga sis?

may skin asthma din ako.. nadetect ito when i was 4th yr. high school.. Iterax lang take ko noon and floucinonide cream (chinese cream worth 10.00) for almost 8 yrs. ito ginagamit qo if inaatake aqo ng sakit qo.. ok naman siya
pero dis oct.2011 hindi na kinaya ng mga gamot  na ginagamit ko.been to 2 dermatologist already.. kaso parang walang effect mga gamot na bgay nila (anthamin & vitamin-centrum), soaps (oatmeal soap), and lotions.. sinunod ko na rin [textspeak!] mga advice na iwasan kumain ng malalansa,,marami n aqong nagagastos..nung una sa kamay lang..ngaun halos buong katawan na.. 5 mos n aqong ngsusuffer..
I must admit bumaba ang self-confidence ko..kasi kahit ang init naka blazer ako or naka long sleeves.. nahihiya na rin ako dito sa office..  :-[madalas umiiyak n lang ako..
natry qo na nga ring magpaalbularyo kc un gusto ng lola ko.. pero wala pa rin.. ang sabi nakulam... my mga changes naman nung sinunod ko sinabi  pero bumabalik pa rin..

Thank God my son has been skin asthma free for 2 months Magandang vitamins ang scott's emulsion it has vitamin c and d, it has codliver oil na maganda sa balat. Sa soap naman ang dami ko natry from oilatum to cetaphil but nothing works. Then one day nauubusan kami ng soap bought nalang what was available sa drugstore nagiisa nalang na lactacyd toddlertubs. THANK GOD! Eto lang ang sabon na di siya nangati!! Maganda ang skin niya ngayon even when it's super hot, moist pa rin never nagddry
