hello all!

meron ba dito nagggymnastics? i'm interested kasi, baka kasi may chance pa na maging flexible and agile ako ulit hehe.. i've tried yoga and i know it helps you become flexible, pero i'm looking for a more energetic sport (if yoga is considered a sport).

thanks!

Hey I'm a university cheerleader, and I take gymnastics at Club Gymnastica sa Kapitolyo in Pasig. Its really worth it, really fun, the coaches are mabiro and friendly. Mainit nga lang yung place and maejo mahihiya ka kasi sobrang gagaling nung little kids but wth national team nman sila. 350 per session you can just walk in and ask for a free coach.

More on floor. Cos unless you wanna train to be part of the phil team (which is mukahng di na pwede unless yer in your younger years), yer gonna learn the floor skills and trampoline skills.

are there any other gymnasiums other than club gymnastica and the dance studio? i already saw club gymnastica and it is really lacking of equipment and space.
well, i only want a gym that has special floor for practicing acrobatic skills to be on the safe side and of course, a larger space. it would be even better if they have a pommel horse and rings. ;D

there's no age requirement maem6304. but it's more difficult for adults (especially for beginners) to develop flexibility needed unlike the kids, who are more pliable.

Have you tried it yet? I believe it's P50 -entrance fee. And it's quite big, best place to do tricks.

May sked yung adult gymnastics sa rizal memorial I think its 50+ yung session fee..

club gymnastica sa pasig its 600 per session pag mag isa ka and 500 per session kung dalawa or more.. pero you can pick what time you want to go

a yes..there is also club gymnastica, but it's no good. The space is too small and over crowded. Just finding a space to practice all your tricks will eat up too much of your time.

sunstreaker, may i know the current sched for adult gymnastics in rizal memorial? and is it possible to train alone? I went there before and it was only on Saturdays.
it's 50 entrance fee, 100 per session (1 hour) if I remembered it right. I don't know if it has changed now.

So yeah, I'm in my late 20s, grew up in the province where carabaos roam freely. No one knows what Gymnastics is where I grew up. In other words, I have zero knowledge on the said sport but it has always been my number one frustration so I'm giving it a chance. Club Gymnastics is just near my place so might just as well head out there. Does anyone know the rates for the lessons?
