IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) - is it effective?

after my 5th session, sad to say...tapos na pala ang IPL package na inavail ko sa DermStrata. In fairness, after 5 sessions, balahibong pusa na lang ang natira sa dating "gubat", hahaha :-P pero may mga natira pa, and I don't know which laser treatment I should get next para tuluyan nang mawala ang UA hair!

sisses, ano kayang maganda (at REASONABLY PRICED) na laser treatment para sa balahibong pusa sa UA?

or sabi ng iba nd:yag masakit nga lang sya pero it targets small hair or maninipis na hair.

pwede naman sis wag lifetime package kunin mo, meron naman per session nasa P1,500 or 2k++ per session.



ako naka 2 session palang ng IPL. so far effective sya, nag shed na yung mga hair.

For me it is effective kasi naka 4 sessions ako sa La Estetica and none to super minimal na yung underarm hair ko.

So happy about it.

OT: I am selling my voucer for underarm IPL sa SkinCentral. I don't need it anymore kasi nga no more hair na. PM me if interested. It is good for one year, unlimited use. Pwede sa for underarm, bikini or brazillian.

^yes sis tama ka. wag ka magpa threading, shave lang or mas better trim mo na lang.

just had my first IPL sa holy king clinic or ortiz medical clinic. Same lang sila 2 lang name.
3-5 clicks lang sya, malaki daw kasi yung machine nila. dati daw nakaka 10-20 clicks sila kasi maliit machine nila. don't know if its true hehe..

sana may effect. next time na ko magpa diode pag naka ipon na. mahal kasi eh, hehe.

hi sis, saang holy king ka nagpunta? sa cubao or sa caloocan? i saw a voucher online for IPL for the arms and legs. i want to try sana but i want to know kung okay yung services ng clinic. how was your experience? thanks!

Usually nagiging balahibong pusa up until 3 sessions. Check niyo 4 months after Ng session niyo if hnd magbalikan yung hair.

Have you tried having a diamond peel or some other whitening treatments in the middle of IPL sessions like after 1 week of your session? safe kaya un?

Same question with sis Sixteen, after the IPL session, is it ok to undergo underarm diamond peel?

Had my first IPL session with Mendez - SM Megamall yesterday. I availed yung package na P2,500, good for 1 year. 30 clicks per UA yung ginawa sakin. Since first time ko, okay ba yung 30 clicks per UA o tinipid nila? 

Babalik ako on March 31. Sana maging effective.

Any recommended place where to get IPL? ok sana body accents pero ang hirap kasi puntahan at iba na workplace ko.. nakaka 2 session palang ako pero almost half na ang ngshed..

i had 10 ipl sessions at skin rejuve. balahibong pusa na pero nung tinigil ko kumapal ulit! huhuhu so sad

ako nga din e. looking at diode or candela kasi yun daw ang best for laser. ang ipl daw kasi hindi naman talaga laser, strictly speaking. hindi ko pa lang maresearch kung anong clinic ang may best deals for diode or candela

You know, I initially had ipl din with my derma.  When I shifted to diode, I had to start from scratch.  Sad to say, I had like 13 sessions all in all. The end result is that I'm hair free, per napamahal talaga ako    If your skin is fair, Alexandrite is a good investment.  For semi morena, Diode is better pero look for a clinic that offers hospital grade, yung alam mong derma yung normally gumagamit as oppose to a machine that you see in nail and waxing salons.

I'm on my 2nd sess na of UA IPL. I think its working naman kasi nung 1st session ko after 1 week nag shed..tapos going 4th week na nung tumubo yung thick hairs sobrang konti lang tapos yung iba super nipis na. I bought it from a deal lang so I thought so so lang magiging result. Tsaka on my 1st session 5 clicks lang per ua. On my 2nd session 10-15clicks na per ua..

I was thinking of availing pa naman nung 2 year unli diode from SS kaya lang tapusin ko muna tong IPL na naavail ko for 5 sessions. If ever ba magshift ako to diode ano mangyayare? any experience sissies?

Hi all. I want to give an update on my case. After my disappointment with Mendez clinic, I decided to turn to diode for my face and neck. I had sessions before in LFI years ago. They used LightSheer Diode on me.
