IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) - is it effective?

Hello i have tried IPL effective sya after ilang treatment yung tubo ng hair ko sa underarm manipis na but ofcouse i use mosbeau underarm whitening from japan to help whiteny underarm so far ok yung result and i love it

There is an ongoing promo now in Ensogo for unlimited IPL hair removal at Mendez Clinic.  I am  interested.  Meron ba ditong naka-avail na ng IPL services sa Mendez?

Hi, I have just availed of the IPL hair removal service from Mendez Megamall this afternoon. I paid via Ensogo for their promo on 1 year unlimited IPL on my chin. I am actually an avid fan of diode laser for hair removal, and I had my underarms and whole legs done sa SkinStation. However, when I saw the promo on Ensogo, binili ko pa rin kahit IPL kasi sobrang mura.

So far ok naman yung service. When I went there last month to set an appointment, the receptionist was kind enough to inform me kung anong time ang recommended to do the session, kung kelan nandun yung resident dermatologist nila, para yung doctor mismo ang gagawa sau. So when I had my session this afternoon, yung derma mismo ang nagperform ng procedure sa akin instead na therapist lang. They used cream before and after the procedure. Kind yung mga therapist and the derma herself. I received around 10 shots on my chin, which is not bad considering na promo yung binayaran ko. Maganda yung machine nila, mararamdaman mo yung pitik ng heat on your hair follicles kada shot. I have had other IPL sessions before na portable machines lang ang gamit, at walang pitik na sensation, thereby resulting to very few hair loss. So far, I am happy with what I've seen. Can't wait for my next session.

Hi Sis, I also availed of the Unlimited sessions for 12 months of IPL + Whitening of Mendez I bought it in Ensogo. I  haven't inquired yet. Balitaan ko na lang kayo.. BTW, twing kelan daw andun ang derma?

I think they are talking about ipls effective for skin rejuve, not for hair removal. Godiva or skin station might have lessened the shots kasi puro sila discount with harmony db?

What type of ipl machine do you recommend na maganda? Have you tried GSD or honkon?

Hi, it is almost one week since my first IPL session in Mendez Megamall. Unfortunately, I am not seeing any significant changes on my lower chin hair. The difference between IPL and Diode Laser clearly shows. The first sessions of my underarm and whole legs diode laser treatment from SkinStation has produced some very significant results already. Like for instance, 40% of my leg hairs are gone, while it is almost 80% percent for my underarm hair. Oh well, they say that hair should shed for 1 to 2 weeks after treatment. I will wait for one more week to see if there are any changes at all. I will give IPL the benefit of the doubt for at least one more week before I pass my definitive judgement.

Ang alam ko nga din hindi ganun kabilis ang effect pag IPL. mga ilang sessions pa dapat at ang fine hair ay hindi kaya unlike yung sa diode at nd yag yata yun. I remember when I had my LHR sa LFI at shinigawa (both 1 session) talagang nawala ang UA  hairs ko to think na balbon ako at very course ang hair ko. siguro mga almost 1  year hindi tumubo... kung pnagpatuloy ko siguro to. wala na talaga akong hair now tee hee!
yung sister ko nag papa IPL din nakakailang sessions na sya wala pa din effect... ang tagal daw.

Sis nag shave ka ba before the session? or sila na magsshave sau?

Hi Sis, ako in my case, nagshave ako before I went there. But, they also do the shaving themselves when are there before they start the session. Actually there is guideline na dapat no shaving the day before the procedure whenever you do laser hair removal as per SkinStation's pamphlet.

magfo-4th session na ako ng IPL sa dermstrata. may package kasi sila na 6 sessions for 7k (dinagdagan ako nila ng plus 1 session), every 3-4 weeks ang pagitan. so far, nabawasan significantly ang UA hair ko. 4 sessions to go, sana by the 7th session totally wala na laha.t o kung meron pa man, plus 2 sessions na lang hair free na ang UA ko.

Ill be having my 2nd session palang tom ng ipl. My question is pede ba maagpawax after ng session? Kasi medyo may natitira pa after. D kasi comfy. Please help. TIA!

Nakakainis yung sa Mendrez, sa megamall ako nagpagawa eh. Unlimited IPL for a year with whitening

Una munang gagwin sayo is whitening. Nilagyan lang nila ng parang salt scrub tapos ayun na yun
1st time ko kasi mag pa IPL (before talaga Diode ako) so hindi ako nagshave para maassess nila yung hair ko.. So I thought ishashave nila. Hindi shinave. Hindi man lang ako nilagyan ng cover sa mata. basta bigla na lang nag shot mga 5 shot lang sa isang underarm.
I asked kung pede ako bumalik next week hindi daw pede kasi 4 weeks daw ang interval. Sabi ko naman IPL lang naman yun bakit 4 weeks kasi yun daw talga  yung rule nila. SO sabi ko nalang... eh di hindi pala unlimited yun...  I told the attendant that My sister nag pa IPL din sya sa Dermalosophy(pero regular price  yun) pag 1st daw dapat 1 week pede kang bumalik then susunod is every other week na. Sabi nung girl mabuburn daw yun.

Nakakainis lang.. unlimited IPL for a year pero every 4 weeks ang interval? badtrip mode on. Buti nalang nagpasched agad ako.. kung pnatagal ko pa baka 11x lang ako makapag IPL

I had my 2nd IPL session on Mendez yesterday. So far Ok naman. I was actually expecting to receive only 10 shots by I received more than 20 on my lower chin. Unfortunately, I really feel that IPL won't do me any big changes. Pinapaubos ko na lang talaga yung mga IPL vouchers na nabili ko. I am now really into diode, in fact I just bought the brazillian unli promo of SkinStation.

Anyway, I posted again because I would like to ask a second opinion. Nirecommend kasi sa akin ng Derma na ipathreading ko daw yung hair ko sa chin. Now from what I understand, threading pulls the hair  out from the follicle - like tweezing or waxing. Is this really recommended? Kasi what would happen is that even the hairs that are not burnt successfully by the laser will be pulled out. So sa next session ko, imbis na maburn sila, wala na tuloy sila kasi binunot na sila. Please give me your insights.

^yes sis tama ka. wag ka magpa threading, shave lang or mas better trim mo na lang.

just had my first IPL sa holy king clinic or ortiz medical clinic. Same lang sila 2 lang name.
3-5 clicks lang sya, malaki daw kasi yung machine nila. dati daw nakaka 10-20 clicks sila kasi maliit machine nila. don't know if its true hehe..

sana may effect. next time na ko magpa diode pag naka ipon na. mahal kasi eh, hehe.

Di talaga maganda service sa Mendez.  I bought gluta shots.  Pababalik-balikin ka. Kesyo walang stock, walang butterfly, walang dr. hay nakakaloka.   Tapos iba-ibang brand pa ng gluta ang gagamitin.  I was tempted to buy yang ipl.whitening deal nila buti na lang hindi ako bumili.

nov 28 yung 4th (out of 7) IPL session ko with dermstrata. Aside from a few stubborn strands and some balahibong pusa, relatively hair-free na UA ko. hoping na by my 7th session, wala na talaga. :-)

sana makuha sa 3 more sessions ng IPL para di na uli gumastos...kasi pag meron pa rin, baka magcheapest diode promo na lang ako somewhere kung konti na lang naman ang tatrabahuhin.

Update update! After my second session sa mendez IPL, mukhang nakita ko naman na results.. Di nagsshed off [textspeak!] hair nung na IPL ako, sabi nga din ipa threading ko nga din..pero ang ginawa ko, pluck lang hair kasi un lang naman [textspeak!] ginagawa ko dati pa.. so far, after ko mag pluck 10 days na, wala parin tumutubo na UA hair.. kasi usually pag nagppluck ako, ilang araw palang meron na uli tutubo e.. so feeling ko okay naman [textspeak!] IPL ko...hopefully nga maging effective [textspeak!] sya.

Di po ba bawal magpluck pag nagIPL kasi yung hair roots target ng IPL?
