I wanted to try Brazilian Blowout but I'm afraid to since the products are known to have formalin. I am very eager to manage my tresses but I don't want my health compromised just to have beautiful hair. I am very curious to try this out though but that is whats stopping me.

Hello sissies! I have a problem. I want to have BB/Keratin Treatment but it bothers me due to my nature of work. I'm a nurse and it requires na laging nakapusod [textspeak!] hair. Unmanageable na siya pag nilugay ko. Sobrang wavy na. Last rebond ko pa was last year June. Any tips/advice? Thanks!

^ Hi sis! Ang maganda sa BB/Keratin is unlike rebond na hindi pwede itali ang hair, sa bb pwede. Ako palagi ko pa rin pinopony yung hair ko after ko nag pa treatment. Sulfate-free dapat shampoo and palaging conditioner. Tas sakin ang ginagawa ko, and eto rin advice nung hairstylist ko, wag araw-araw shampoo. hehe. Mas tatagal yung bb pag ganon. Pwede wag basain or conditioner lang.

Nagpa-bb ako last july. Gusto ko na ulit magpa-brazilian ngayon kaso wala pa promo ang Great Cuts.

^kala ko before nakakaapekto sa effect ng BB ang pagtali sa buhok. Di naman pala. So i guess pang 1 month lang talaga ang BB saken. Kasi alaga naman sa absolut keratin hair ko pero ang bilis lang talaga ng effect ng BB.

Not really impressed with this bb.

First, masaket sa mata at ilong. Nakakaiyal sa hapdi.
Second, short term lang. Good for 1 month lang saken
Third, nagworsen lang hairfall ko at lalong nag dry after ng ilang buwan
Fourth, pwede itali pero nagbebewang din.

alam ko na kung bakit dapat keratin rebond  for damage hair. coz i tried milk rebond na may colored hait nasira lalo that's why dapat keratin na lang..

^ Hair color muna sis. Pag pinauna mo keratin di ka nila papayagan mag pa color hanggang mag 1 month.

for me hindi worth it ang BB. I've never tried it but have friends who did. After a month or two, wala na. Balik sa dati as in parang walang nangyari.

Had my keratin treatment and brazilian blowdry on last week of July. So 4mos na now and I must say na ok pa din sya. Parang milk/soft rebond ang effect sa hair ko, but with less harsh chemicals na ginamit. As expected, yung new growth near the roots lang yung medyo unruly now. Pero manageable naman with conditioner.

I used to go for milk/soft rebond once a year pero now that I've tried this keratin&BB, mukhang ganito na lang ipapagawa ko. Siguro important na magpagawa sa reputable salon para di ka ma-shortchange sa binayad mo. I had mine done sa Le Kuku Salon sa Dusit Hotel. Nakabili ako ng voucher sa cashcash or metrodeal yata yun so less than 3k lang binayad ko, given na long and thick ang hair ko. When I had rebonds dati, roughly nasa 10k-12k ang inaabot ko sa Piandre dahil sa kapal ng buhok ko, pinapa-trim ko pa yun sa may below the ear length lang. Added points pa na around 3hrs lang tong process, compared sa rebond na inaabot ako 6-7hrs dahil sa kapal ng buhok ko.

Had my iCure treatment last Friday and I like the results naman, my hair is softer kaya nawala yung pagka-fluffy. I was given a shampoo and conditioner too but I just feel na hinde aabot ng 1 month saken. Naisip ko magpa-keratin treatment every month para ma-repair ang damaged hair ko.

hi this is my first time to post an inquiry here. nag register pa talaga ako para makapag tanong.  gustong gusto ko na kasi mag pa ayos ng buhok, pero i'm having doubts on what to do with my hair. i have back-read almost all the posts here and sa rebond/hair straightening thread (which is close na).

i saw a metrodeal voucher sa david's salon (Red Salon Tomas Morato) worth 1499 for milk rebond or keratin brazilian treatment. hindi ko lang sure kung anong gamot ang gamit nila. wala rin akong mahanap na relevant reviews regarding the salon. may mga nakapag pagawa na ba doon? and which is better for thick, frizzy and wavy hair? i've heard a lot of good reviews sa bb pero ang downside sandali lang siya. while sa milk rebond, parang rebond lang din with volume? enlighten me sana mga sis.

there's also another deal sa heaven's glow for milk rebond din kaso wala rin akong mahanap na relevant reviews. help po sana in choosing what treatment and/or salon po. thanks 

edit: btw, currently "virgin" na yun hair ko. had my digiperm 1 1/2 years ago at T&J (loreal xtenso). na experience ko na din magpa rebond and relax. so basically nagawa na lahat sa buhok ko except hair color.

Nabasa ko internet. If you have dry hair never ever try this keratin.

Based on my experience. Nagtry ako ng icure keratin. Nung una super thankful ako sa keratin na to. After one month issumpa mo na to. Promise po yan. Super dry ng hair ko ngayon dami pa tangles. Alaga ko to sa organic shampoo at cond yung walang sls at parabens.

I asked david salon yesterday kasi sabi ko super dry hair ko after magpakeratin at sabi nun receptionist hindi daw yun maganda kasi may formaldehyde.

Just saying lang po. I hope di nyo maexperince ang naeexperience ko right now.

Hi mga sis. Just had my brazillian blowout at Azta salon. Finally, I can say that its worth a try! Lalo na sa hair ko na dry dahil sa bleach and perm before. Naging alive ang hair ko ang ang gaan sa feeling. but napakamahal lang ng nagastos ko pero pinaghandaan ko naman para maayos na talaga and nagpacolor din ako hihi, pagod na kasi ako mg plantsa tas kulot pagpapasok. on my 2nd week now, my hair is still alive. although not as lively after talaga ng treatment pero happy pa din ako. Received a lot of compliments!

Researched about brazillian, and may formaldehyde nga to. Thats one thing kaya ayoko magtry neto kasi nakakatakot, pero ayoko na din kasi talaga ng dry hair.

True enough, 1 month lang ang effect ng keratin treatment saken even with the continued use pf the shampoo and conditioner. 2k every month is a little bit too steep for maintenance.

Update po. Ikatlong araw dapat ngayon na wag babasain ang hair ko kaso hindi ko na keri kaya naligo na ko hahaha

Gamit kong shampoo yung kasama sa package which is icure shampoo. Nung nagshampoo ako hindi ako nakaexperience ng matigas or mahirap sukalayin yun hair. Super lambot ng hair ko nun nagsshampoo ako. Then nagconditioner ako icure din. After ko maligo hinayaan ko lang matuyo hair ko sa hangin.

Ang lambot lambot ng hair ko mga sis. First ever experience ko na after banlawan yun hair ang lambot pa rin. Unpike nun nagparebond ako grabe tigas ng buhok ko nun nabanlawan parang wire haha tapos sunof sunog pa yung laylayan. Ngayon wala akonf ganung experience. Ang lambot talaga at straight pa rin pero not so super straight. Worth it mga sis. Hindi ako nag expecg ng sobra dito sa keratin pero super ganda ng output. Grabe love ko na tong keratin. Parang katumbas neto yung vita cement ng kerastase sa davids which costs you 3k and will only last 2 weeks. Approved tom hindi ko mapagkasya yung tuwa ko dito haha love ko na rin yung bading na nagservice sa hair ko.
