chelline, I've been meaning to have this brazilian blowout treatment to add volume for my otherwise flat and thin hair.  I'm just concerned that the chemicals might do more damage than good.

di ko makita yang brand na yan sa sm makati nor sm southmall.kaya yun Organix na Brazilian Keratin shampoo and conditioner na lang binili ko.I'll be having a Keratin Treatment Blowout on monday sa Essensuals Toni&Guy.im hoping it would last on my really damaged hair.

sis san mo nabili yung organix brazillian keratin shampoo? sa sm department store ba o sa watsons? i would appreciate your help. thanks.

since mukhang matatapos na yung keratin treatment ko from LKP, nag iisip ako if paparebond ba ko or brazilian blowout nalang.. kaso too expensive.. sana pala kinuha ko uli yung deal sa dealgrocer :(

im using keratin complex... ok naman sya and nag less hair fall ako kaso nagka dandruff ako eh :(

I had this done kanina eventhough i know it MAY be toxic.  Use at your own risk ba. Anyway it is really effective in taking away the frizz. My hair was really buhaghag na and had big curls becoz of the frizz. I have wavy hair lang when it grows past my shoulders.  Nawala ang frizzy hair and mukhang ni rebond pa yung hair ko but not pinstraight ha. And it is oh so shiny.  But am having second thoughts of having it again, eh kc masakit  sa mata nung pinalantsa na. Mabango siya pero nakakaubo naman so talagang may chemical.  i read somewhere that the formaldehyde escapes to the air during the heating process kaya siguro ako pinag suot ng mask and glasses.  nagmukha akong welder.  it is toxic if you inhale the fumes.  mas nakakaawa ang mga stylists kc mas exposed sila dun than the customers.  I'd probably have this ulit after 6 months if i get sick of my hair ulit.  The bb treatment usually lasts up to 3months daw pero still depends on your hair.  Matagal [textspeak!] humaba ang hair ko eh so it would probably take me about 6 months or even a year bago mag repeat.  I only paid 1500 petot for this. I have chin length hair. The only reason why Im having second thoughts is that i feel guilty for the stylist. Kawawa [textspeak!] sila baka magkasakit.

I recently had this done a second time.  The first time I wasn't so satisfied, so before I dismiss it altogether, I decided to give it another go.  If you're expecting something like a rebond (hair straight and almost maintenance free), I don't think this is for for you.

Keratin Treatment maintains your hair's body.  So if your hair's wavy, it will still be a bit wavy although a lot more manageable.  It cuts blowdry time by a lot, but more or less you'd still have to blowdry.  Also, you have to maintain it with SLS/ALS/sodium chloride-free shampoo so you need to buy special shampoo for keratin treated hair. :)  And, you have to ask what you're getting coz I think there are two kinds -- one that lasts for around 4-6 weeks, and another that lasts around 4-5 months.

This is just my opinion and you have to take into account that I have really thick hair which a tendency to be poufy, but even after the second time I've had this done, I'd have to say it's nothing mind blowing.  :) But that's just me. I'd love to hear from others as well.

i just had this a while ago in galleria.According to the stylist, wala daw formaldehyde. So i thought they will use the new formulation. But nung inaaply na,medyo mahapdi nga sa mata and they were using masks.Medyo familiar sa kin ang smell ng formalin because we use it in the laboratory during my med school days.So I guess meron nga sya.Well,I just hope walang reaction sya reaction sa hair ko.My cousin had this for 4 times na and wala naman nangyayari sa buhok nya.Keeping my fingers crossed.

I'm tempted to try this. Thing is, I don't know kung nakaka straight ba talaga ito.
