Best Location/Place to get a House (within Metro only)

^ ah yes sis!  interesado kasi lagi everytime na mapapadaan kami dun kasi parang ang tahimik ng location.  yung entrance nya maliit lang na katabi ng metrobank, if im not mistaken.  parang gusto ko dun hahaha

^correct! maliit lang ang entrance, tapos may katabi na metrobank. marami din katabing indian and arab (yata?) restos pag lumabas ka ng village. for me, ideal location aside from makati.  yun nga lang konti lang ata mga stop lights sa UN Avenue dati tapos maraming dumadaan na container trucks. not sure nowadays, though.

We've actually scouted houses/lots around alabang. There's Alabang Hills, Pacific Malayan, Alabang 400, Hillsborough, Palms Point. Alabang Hills is the oldest subdivision there. It's huge in comparison to the other subdivisions. If you want less people/smaller subdivision, the rest of those I mentioned are smaller, the smallest being Pacific Malayan.

Check this link for lot sizes http://www.condominiumsmanila.com/Alabang-lots/hillsborough-alabang-lots.html. Prices in that link are old already. Everything in this area is going up monthly in anticipation of the skyway project. Palms Point is too expensive tho. I forgot how much but when I found out the price, I didn't even consider it.

The highest prices are Alabang Hills and Hillsborough, the lowest Alabang 400 and Pacific Malayan. If I had a choice between the first 2, I'd choose Hillsborough as the neighborhood is smaller (meaning there are less houses). Hillsborough lot prices go for 15-18k/ square meter. Usually, lot sizes are 400 sqm.

For the last 2, I prefer Pacific Malayan. It's a quaint subdivision and the houses there can be had for 8 -10M (not sure about prices now). Lots are cheaper too. I think 10-12k/square meter. Lot sizes are around 300 sqm.

Sa akin mas ok bandang gitna or somewhere south na lang, kasi mas madali pumunta sa airport, makati ortigas. Or somewhere in the middle. Hindi gaya namin na nasa North.... Hello traffic!

Layooo.... bata pa ako dreaded ko na ang mga sundo sa airport or mga lakad pa south. Not because ayoko pero kasi nalalayuan talaga ako. We're also looking for a place din bandang Paranaque naman or Laguna/Cavite to help ease my husband's travel time.

Kahit maliit lang sana and must be secure kasi may bahay na kami, so malamang dito pa din kami uuwi, pero can't really say for now since bread and butter now is husband's job, mahirap kasi big change talaga 'to if ever since taga dito kami talaga, family, everything else is here. Pine-prep na nga ako ng asawa ko for the transfer, i don't wanna let go of this house. Pero mukhang ganun ang mangyayari.

My MIL was saddened too when i told her, since this is their first house, sabi nya ibebenta na lang daw nya. Kasi medyo tumatanda na din sila and they also can't maintain another house. Sana kaya ko maintain pareho.

I bought my unit nung August, Ready -to-move-in.. I like the place bilang accessible and sa security nya. You  enter a gated subdivision  walking distance lang from high way . Then meron uli gate with guards before entering the premises of the condo.  Though di pa ako nakatira, meron ako nakausap na gt sis natin na satisfied naman sa purchase nya..

I'm thinking of south area din kasi nearer Makati, kaso natatakot ako sa price ng toll fee if magdrive ka to/from work sa Makati.
What about the areas of Las Pinas, Muntinlupa, any good villages/subdivisions there?
Parang malayo na kasi if Cavite, Laguna na eh.

Hi Sis Agape, Im also having the same problem, thinking of moving sa south area din (pque, sucat) kasi medyo malapit lang sa Makati and marami ibang daan (slex, sucat road then resortsworld, roxas). Problem lang din is yung baha pag medyo malakas na yung ulan. Another option ko din is Nuvali, Sta Rosa. Medyo mababa pa yung prices ng house and lot and tahimik, medyo mabigat nga lang ang toll fee!

For me San Juan or New Manila area, you are at the center of everything! Makati and Trinoma are 15 minutes away (if without traffic).

Western Bicutan, Taguig.  Sa may AFPHOVAI.  No problem with flood and very near C5, Fort Bonifacio, McKinley etc...
