Best Location/Place to get a House (within Metro only)

I was living in QC when I worked in Makati, sobrang hassle ang biyahe. Although May FX at kung saan saang short cut dumadaan para maiwasan ang traffic sa EDSA, lantang gulay pa din ako umuuwi sa bahay.

Now I live in Paranaque, sobrang ginhawa ng biyahe. May FX sa SM Bicutan papuntang Makati, naka-Skyway pa. My travel time was cut down from 1.5 hours to just 15 minutes.

I think yung "malayo" na term depende sa tanong na "malayo saan?" If you are working in Makati, for me the best place to get a property is in Paranaque. Hindi naman kami lumubog nung Ondoy at wala kami fault line in case may earthquake. Plus the munisipyo here has way better service compared to QC.

I agree that during Ondoy nanood pa kami ng sine kasi parang walang nagyari samin sa Paranauqe. We had electricity, mobile signal, landline and internet. No interruption. If not for the postings in FB I wouldnt have realized how bad the situation is. Anyway, I grew up in Paranaque and I agree na mas madali pumunta sa Makati from Bicutan. If you are in a hurry you have skyway to save the day. At least may choice. One thing I also noticed is mas madali magdrive and di stressful since you pass by the hiway wala masyado intersections which means walang masyadong singitan. Cars simply follow the line most of the time especially when the traffic is bad.

Pero we had our worst times prior to skyway. It took me 2 hours to get to Makati that time and my full tank only lasts 4 days. But after skyway, sobrang ginhawa even if you dont take the skyway. I guess depende rin sa time of day but on a weekend, it takes me 15 mins to go to Makati and 30 mins to greenhills unless super traffic sa edsa. On weekdays, if you leave outside the rush hour, it takes 20 mins to go to Fort Bonifacio.

i couldn't agree with you more... garapal ang corruption masyado dyan sa QC. i have 2 officemates na 3weeks lang nila nakuha ang bldg permit nila nung nagpagawa sila ng bahay. may uncle ako from q.c. kinukuwento nya nung kumuha sya ng bldg permit, 4 months bago nya nakuha, may kasabayan pa raw sya sa pila sa munisipyo noon, nagkukuwento sa kanya, tapos na yung pinapagawang building yung, permit hindi pa naibibigay, 6months na! grabe!

Ako po...hihingi ng inputs...We are planning to buy a property. Actually gusto na namin mag start ng downpayment this coming september, kaya nagpapahanap ako sa mga kamag anak ko as soon as possible. Sabi ko sa asawa ko to have a property within metro and the most possible choice would be a townhouse. Then yung ibang kamag anak may sinusuggest sa paranaque na 3M ang price. Naghahanap sana ako ng quezon city kaso wala ako makita. Then meron din naman suggestion sa amin na sa san pedro laguna na lang daw or binan laguna or sta. rosa kasi meron naman na daw accessible ways para makapunta sa makati or ortigas which are the center of everything.

Sa mga nasa sta. rosa or san pedro laguna...accessible na po ba talaga papunta sa manila?sa mga nasa paranaque naman po(betterliving or sucat) ma traffic po ba papunta  like sa makati or sa manila area?

I need your help po...nahihirapan na kami kung alin ang pipiliin. Kung meron po kayo suggestion na mga property na RFO, makikishare na rin po. Thank you in advance.

Townhouses siya sa loob ng subdivision.. they have in pasig, cainta, marikina.... very good locations. try mo contact sila.... bago pa mga houses. meron RFO meron din yun ipapatayo.... magananda mga projects ng summerfield.

Pasig and Makati.. prime locations talaga.. syempre yung nasa sentro dapat ng Pasig and Makati.. malaki kasi both places e.

also consider yung hindi talaga binabaha.. meron kasing area sa dalawang lugar na yan konting ulan lang baha na.. yung ondoy naman, halos lahat binaha, halos walang nakaligtas e.

yun nga lang sobrang mahal ng house and lot sa pasig and makati.. tamang malaking property na sa malayong lugar.. pero convenience wise, ok talaga lalo na kapag sa makati or ortigas area ka lang work.

what we got is a town house sa Pasig area.. gustuhin ko man na hindi town house, worth 8M yung mga single firewall na bahay good luck naman sa loan kung maapproved.. so ok na townhouse as long as maganda gawa at location talaga is maganda.

nasa section two ako.. streets starting with letter Cs na countries (canada, chile, columbia, china, etc).. ang joke nga namin dito ay pag inabot kami ng baha, the rest of metro manila would be in deep deep flood water na..

ang gusto ko sa better living ay readily accessible yung mga shuttle going to makati and lawton..

sis raqjec06, i have an officemate na from san pedro laguna.. sabi nya within 1 hour daw nasa ayala makati na sya, kasi expressway ang daan ng shuttle service nila.

i think umaalis sya sa san pedro before 7am.. and she leaves ayala ave around 5-530pm in the afternoon.

Recently nakakuha ako ng acquired assets sa bank.since si mudra works in the bank super hotcake had my townhouse for more or less 3m++ kasi pinarepaint and pinagawa pa,285sqm and maganda.good deal kasi sa raya condo near samin 5m yung range.habol ko din talaga yung security kaya kung wala pang budget for a dream house get muna kayo sa bank,madami ang metrobank na mga properties

Paranaque is our home based too. Very convenient. As some our sisses mentioned here, we have not experienced any flooding too even during Ondoy. It's near makati, 15mins only, same with going to airports, also very close to Alabang. And Paranaque has no colour coding scheme so with Muntinlupa so no worries on coding days :-)

You may consider Woodsville Viverde Mansions Condominium, Robinsons Land ang developer. I have a unit there. Just along West Service Road, with own village mall, just 10 mins away to the airport.

Paranaque parin is the best place from me. Just have to check kung may Maynilad na yung place. MOstly naman ata ngayon meron na eh. Maganda sa Paranaque kase yung environment niya mas ok saken compared to other places.

For me, Marikina (the higher parts where there's no flooding, like Parang and Fortune) or Quezon City ( Cubao, New Manila, Bungad, Project 7)..

Marikina kasi feeling mo relaxing, pero nasa Metro Manila ka pa rin.

Quezon City kasi accessible to different parts of Metro Manila.


We live in Pasay now, and I sooo don't like it. Yung part namin, ang alikabok and ang dumi. Plus I don't think the people are friendly. Plus the jeeps take too long, kala mo may parada palagi. We're going to finish the lease lang tas move out na kami to Marikina, Pasig or QC next year.

there are some areas in pque that also have problem areas usually subdivisions along sucat road.  i live here all my life and yung bahay namin unfortuantely prone to flood, as in before sa harap ng house namin humihinto yung baha or sa street namain kami yung last house na binabaha the house right next to ours is "super dry"

you have to ask around the neighbors if binabaha and hanggang saan
