recently, my friend got a lot in betterliving pque. i'm also considering it, pero takot ako sa traffic and walang tubig.

confirmed ba na pahirapan tubig dun?

marami ng areas dito na pinasok na ng Maynilad, yung sa amin maynilad na... hindi na kami nagbubukas ng motor para umakyat at magpuno sa tank... sa madaling araw umaapaw sya dahil umaakyat ang tubig on its own =)

sis pillows, phase 3 din kami.. northwest, near lopez.. hindi naman bumabaha dito lalo na nung ondoy.. hindi nga rin namin dama na ganun na pala katindi yung baha nung time na yun kung hindi lang namin napanood sa news eh.. anyway, last year kami nakabitan ng water supply.. just check with the owner kung pinakabitan ba nila kasi parang nangyari optional yung pagpapakabit eh, though ni-require syempre ng association na magpakabit lahat.. may neighbor kami dito na hindi nagpakabit, ayun, nagpaparasyon pa rin sila ng water sa tank.. hassle diba.. last year lang kasi ginawa lahat so might as well check talaga if nagpakabit sila ng water supply.. hth

Taga-Better din ako and di kami binaha nung Ondoy! (Although yung street papunta sa amin baha but sa aming street mismo hindi :-)).  Our tubig though is still deep well, and okay lang din naman kasi hindi nawawalan (kahit magkaproblema sa MWSS haha) kaya lang kelangan ng motor talaga. But I also recommend Better Living, choose lang yung areas na medyo mataas (iwas kayo sa malapit sa creek) para sure na di bahain. I like it in Better kasi quiet lang and convenient din (malapit sa Alabang, Serendra, Makati) and hindi masyadong hustle and bustle ang atmosphere.

Better Living is ok (in some areas) - there is no water shortage in the area I live in. a little over 37 years na kami nakatira dyan.  But lots are very expensive now, 10-12K ang good areas.  I was hunting for almost 1 year last year. Depressing really.  We finally bought one sa DBV kasi cheaper nga.

@dell - sabi nung house sa tapat namin, alanganin daw oras nung water?  I think mataas kasi yung street, and bago lang nga Maynilad dyan. Tapos na ba Villamor substation? They said mas ok na daw supply when they complete the Villamor substation.  Sana mag improve naman ang water supply, kala ko kasi when we bought the lot ok na water. I have small kids pa naman who take a bath at least 3x a day.

Mga sis, baka may mair-recommend / refer kayo, looking for a single detached H&L din kami near airport, flood free & di madyado problema ang water supply. 2-3 br sana with carport. Mga how much kaya ang dapat na budget, please pm me if may alam kaya. Or may kakilala kayo na owner or neighbor na nagbebenta. Mas mahal ata kasi pag may broker pa. Ok lang samin yung ingay ng mga planes sa airport, near airport talaga ang kailangan namin.

I am also checking classified ads online & on broadsheet. Baka lang may mai-refer kayo mga sis.

^I think 5M up ang single detached sa Better Living. Ang mga townhouse kasi sa Better 2M ang starting.  Meron newly built house na for sale sa may bandang Saudi Arabia St. sa Better according to mother dear. Dunno yung number though but kung magikot ikot village kayo you can drive through dun sa street na yun siguro :-)

There are so many subdivisions in the Paranaque area. Along the west service road alone, ang daming villages na and smaller villages within those villages where the prices of properties may be cheaper. Sa East service road naman there are about 5 or 6 subdivisions. You may want to check out Makati South Hills along the East service road for townhouses. May condo units din dun. Then you have BF Homes and Tahanan Village in Sucat. Meron din Mon El subd. along Sucat road.

Ang alam ko, meron din residential areas very near the airport. I'm not sure lang if it's a subdivision. It's called Baltao. Ok I just checked the map and yes it's called Baltao Subdivision. Meron din Airlane Village and Rivera Village. Di ko lang alam kung okay ang mga areas na yan. I'm not too familiar with that part of Paranaque kasi.

^^^Sis pumapayag naman ang mga guards, iwan mo lang license then balik nila paglabas nyo, better yet tanong nyo sa guards sa village entrance kung merong avail. na for sale :-) Matutuwa yun sila, kasi usually ang arrangement is pag yung guards makapagrefer ng buyer may small incentive sila sa owner :-) Hehe, that's how we sold our old car, village guards ang nagrefer ng client, so don't be shy about asking them kung may for sale sa villages. Let's revive this thread. I also keep on checking on foreclosure listings. Saw one in BDO before, QC Proj. 6 kaso naunahan ako. Now I saw one near Frisco-Proj. 7, lot with improvisation kaso andun pa yung owner, may kaso pa ng annulment of foreclosure (nailit ng RCBC) so syempre since As Is Where Is, medyo mahirap on my end. 

I am looking for a townhouse (one for me, one for my sister) or lot na 200sqm. QC area ang preferred namin, maka-Norte kasi kami. May families from Valenzuela & Bulacan so para easy access sa kanila.

I would recommend Kapitolyo Pasig. No flood and very accessible to Makati, Mandaluyong  and QC area. Going north or south you can either use EDSA or C 5.

sa poll ng thread dito nangunguna ang Taguig.  san po banda sa Taguig?  i'm also from Taguig malapit dito sa Lower Bicutan.  Honestly nalalayuan ako sa lugar namin going to and from work.  4 rides ako lagi.  and yes binabaha din kami.  ngayon gusto ko maghanap ng malilipatan.  sana yung accessible sa Makati, The Fort and Ortigas.

Sis have you considered Mandaluyong? Either sa New Zaniga or Plainview area. Wag lang yung malapit sa Mandaluyong circle. In between pa siya ng Ortigas and Makati. Sa Paranaque kasi masyado mahal tumira dun. Gas pa lang saka toll everyday magkano na. Not too mention yung travel time napaka tagal. We used to live kasi in Sun Valley eh. Kapitolyo Pasig is okay din naman.

Sabi ko sa asawa ko to have a property within metro and the most possible choice would be a townhouse. Then yung ibang kamag anak may sinusuggest sa paranaque na 3M ang price. Naghahanap sana ako ng quezon city kaso wala ako makita. Then meron din naman suggestion sa amin na sa san pedro laguna na lang daw or binan laguna or sta. rosa kasi meron naman na daw accessible ways para makapunta sa makati or ortigas which are the center of everything.

Sa mga nasa sta. rosa or san pedro laguna...accessible na po ba talaga papunta sa manila?sa mga nasa paranaque naman po(betterliving or sucat) ma traffic po ba papunta  like sa makati or sa manila area?
