Best Location/Place to get a House (within Metro only)

thanks sis! i will also look at moonwalk. my friend told me na ok daw sa better living pero kailangan humanap ng mataas na lugar nga para iwas floods. i find bf too expensive. imagine the houses go for 10m+ !  usually daw ang bungalow na brand new with a 100sqm sa paranaque is around 3m is that true? gusto ko kase single detached na 2storey. kumusta naman ang water pressure sis? hindi mahina or madalas mawalan?

^sis heads up lang regarding Moonwalk Paranaque...i have a friend who lives there, and lagi nyang complaint na madaling bahain ang area nila, even if hindi pa super-lakas ng ulan. madalas she has to wade in knee-high floodwater pag medyo tumagal lang ang ulan. their belongings (inside the house) were also totally destroyed because of Ondoy, kasi umabot sa ceiling yung water (good thing they were all out of the house at that time...to think their house is elevated pa from the street level ha!). sa BF naman, the perennial problem is water supply (or lack thereof ) - kaya ang daming trucks ng water delivery na booming ang business in BF e, kasi sobrang mahina ang pressure or walang water supply...

ayun din nga ang iniisip ko sis silverlilac yung water supply. napakahirap kase kapag hindi 24/7 ang water supply or yung magpapadeliver ka pa. until now problem pa din siya? kapag kukuha ka nang sarili mong water pump and tank solve na ba? we live in manila with my in-laws near tayuman and lahat na doon nakawater pump na may tank. so far 24/7 naman ang aming water pero kapag wala kang water pump and tank hirap ka.

i think ok na yata ang water supply sa BF kasi napasok na sila ng maynilad, unlike before na wala talaga kaya mahirap din ibenta ang mga bahay doon.

better living subd. but go for streets na okay. yung mga nag start sa A to J. yung iba kasi halo na.

binabaha sa moonwalk. kung pque - nakatira kami before sa sunvalley. okay yung lugar, tahimik malaki pa yung road. saka hindi naman super looban.

sa pasay - mas okay if you find houses near the cityhall (tahimik jan eh)

recently, my friend got a lot in betterliving pque. i'm also considering it, pero takot ako sa traffic and walang tubig.

confirmed ba na pahirapan tubig dun?

^sis, tama i'll advise sun valley din, pero i am living in one of their villages, not in the main subdivision. been living for 24 years. tahimik yung place and ndi siya binabaha. it's even close to SM bicutan. i think there are areas na rin with good water supply, sa village kasi namin ndi pa masyado, my oras lang.

sis may napapansin ka bang for sale dyan sa sunvalley?? pano ko malalaman kung alin ang nasa village and alin ang nasa main subdivision? tru sulit kase ako naghahanap. gusto ko sana duplex or single detached.

^i can see houses for sale, but more on townhouses like those in parkview homes and there are those which can be seen sa main road lang. the ones in subdivision have bigger houses, in addition, medyo bukana lang siya. it even has an exit to better living, so very accesible siya for both sun valley and better living roads. ours kasi is medyo nasa looban pa mismo ng bgy. sun valley, but very accessible kasi 24 hours yung trike and there's a taxi company in the vicinity, you can just easily call them if may available. there's even condo in sun valley, lions park residence.

hi sis, if you want a good neighborhood, bf homes paranaque is a good choice..  water is not a problem anymore because of maynilad

Merville is good too. Basta sa bandang executive area bandang dulo na yun bordering Better Living and Sun Valley. Yung area malapit kasi sa gates medyo maingay dahil dinadaanan ng eroplano. Water is no problem. If you want smaller lots, there are smaller villages inside Merville like Buena Vida (townhouses), Bella Vida (condos), Molave (house and/or lot),  and a couple more I forgot their names.

sa bf homes phase 1 kami nakatira..
regarding water.. ok na ang water..24/7 na ang supply..  tahimik and maraming daan papunta or palabas ng bf..
dami pang establishments.. may robinsons grocery, puregold, tropical hut. salons sobrang dami, restaurants and fast food chains.. laundry shops bawat kanto meron. bars ang dami din.
hinde rin kami binabaha...

meron malapit sa amin.. 6M daw binebenta..newly renovated bungalow. 1 master beroom with walk in closet and t/b..tapos 2 bedrooms na share sa 1 t/b, sala dining area, kitchen, 2 car garage, may water tank na ang maynilad connection.. may powder room sa sala..may maids/drivers quarters + t/b.
may area sa likod for laundry area..
zen type ang pagkakagawa nila.. maganda.. panay nga tingin ko kasi type ko sya. wala lang datung.. walking distance kami sa manresa school.

yung corner lot na binebenta sa tapat namin..was finally sold..2 flrs yun.. ganda din.. they were selling it for 19M yata noong una..tapos huling tanong ko nasa 12M na lang kasi ang tagal bago nabenta eh

@juicy - which specific street sis? Saudi kasi is a long street intersecting many other streets.
