At least, now will be a good time for the 2 of you to set aside some funds. For whatever it is you want to do in the future...pang out of town trips, mga ganoon. Baka pwede pa ma revive iyun relationship niyo.

it's weird that previous gt posts here also broken up with someone after 3 years. in my case, 3 years and 1 month was the recent time with my new ex, and my ex way back, 3 years ++ din kami.

my new ex was hard to get by. it's been a month. i don't know why... he made promises about getting back with me someday, if there is a chance. things were great between us. but we chose to break up so we can deserve each other someday. i dont know... i guess i should forget about it now and move on. if getting back together will happen, then it will.

the fact that guys can move on easily? that's not possible kung matino ang guy. well, they seemed like moving on... but they are more fragile, that's why they choose na may kapalit agad. only to realize na they still love the person they left.

anyhoo.. case to case basis. basta, i believe that women can handle breakups better. ;)

If a relationship breaks up before marriage, consider yourself lucky.
Sure it is a heartbreak, but less of a disaster than a broken marriage.

IMO, it isn't the number of years that is the major heartbreak.
It is the "cost" of the relationship that is the underlying issue of break-ups:   what you gave up, how far you compromised yourself, how you changed yourself... to keep that relationship going.

People who lose themselves, and have difficulty "recognizing" themselves after some time in a relationship (a month, a year, 50 years.. whatever...)  ... those who decreased their options/self empowerment in so many ways while in the relationship/marriage ... these have the bigger heartbreak, the harder time moving-on when the sh1t hits the fan.

You're not married to him and he left?
Look at it this way:  you can always find better.

He left, before or after marriage -- look at it this way:  You can always be happier.

so inspiring!

Ako, i broke up with my 3yrs and 7mos relationship....
pero walang third party. it just that sobrang nagsawa na ko sa pagiging introvert niya and some other things... pero after 1 month and di siya masyado nagpaparamdam sakin... Im missing him so much... pero i need na pigilin [textspeak!] feelings ko...

for sure we all know whats the best for our life kaya lang we are so blinded sa love natin sa tao....

well, my pain is still here... and still i miss him and wanted to kiss him... hehe.... pero gusto ko na mag move on... ayoko na kumuha ng new bf na sakit lang sa ulo...

Im getting old, and Im preparing myself for a happy married life...

I do believe mr. right will come in the right time....

sis Aiah, i am so bless sa mga nageencourage sakin sa thread to move on... cos this is my first time makipagbreak sa taong mahal ko ng walang kapalit...
before i used to na dapat may kapalit para hindi masyado masakit...
pero it always end up choosing the wrong guy....

and now, i realize na should give myself first to the Lord and ask the right man for me...

This is difficult but time heals all wound... I thank God for keeping me until now...

we've been together for 3 years too, the last few months were really difficult for both of us (frequent arguments, blaming the other party etc) to the point that were no longer happy. He wanted space, he wanted to 'enjoy' life - he wanted a 'single' life. He got what he wanted. I still love him but after that I never exerted an effort to reconnect with him, puro sya lang tong hi! Hello! sa fb ko pero puro ganon lang. It's been a year since our official break-up - pareho pa rin kaming single. If you will ask me, I know we're both better people now than more than a year ago. A lot has happened. If given a chance, I still want to be with him in the end if it's meant to be.

sis, confirmed naman na he's still single kasi close din naman sakin mga cousins nya and yun din nakaindicate sa FB info nya. Right now, I really have no idea what's in store for us. I can just pray and hope for the best.

Ok lang yan sis chuvaeklavu, what's important is finding the right man for you. Advance Merry Xmas to you and sa mga sisters natin dito! : )
