Your WHAT IFs in life?

sometimes i just can't help but wonder.. what if i made different decisions on certain things.. how would my life be right now?

the "what if" thought that has been bugging me lately is..

"what if di ako maaga nag-boyfriend and nag-enjoy muna sa single life?" would i be happier? hmmmm...

What IF?

iba ang course ko? san kaya ako ngayon?

what if, sinunod ko yung parents ko noon?

what if, hindi ako mashadong naging ma-barkada?

what if i guard my heart? masasaktan pa ba ako?

i guess i only have 1 "what-if" in life...

what if i pursued advertising in college (my first choice), instead of comp. science? i know i may have a lower pay, but will i be miserable just as i am now with my career?

..hindi si bf ang naging boyfriend ko?nagtagal kaya kami?
..hindi ako nag-aral sa manila?nasan kaya ako ngayon?
..broken family kami,ano kaya ako ngayon?

i entered medicine school? mas masaya kaya ako?

What if studied well and finished BS Mathematics in UPB instead?
What if I pursued Duke?

Went through that What-If Phase once upon a Bad Time.  I  got Depressed;  and   gravitated towards collecting guns, and as my Achi puts it:  unfavorable colorful accommodating friends.

So there,  for me --  a What-If Phase is self-defeating IF you hook it to the Past.  (You cannot undo History -- though you sure can lie about it; but surely can learn from it.) 
What-If in tandem with the Future.. can be good.

Ejemplo:  I do not like my BF now, What If   pinili ko na lang sana sana sana the other guy courting me.. yung si Old Faithful tawag ko na pinagtawanan ko?   hehe
Parang better if... the personal dialogue goes:  What If I dump this unfaithful BF of mine?  What If I start looking around and meeting more people?
Something What-If like that.
(What-IF itong asawa kong ito eh... let us not go there, mahaba habang cuento pa yan)

Heh nahkoo!  If I were to What-If on the Past, I just might get around to hanging my pet.  Disaster.

Madami eh. So many that i wanna cry just thinking about it. 

What if i studies better?
What if i chose different course in my college years?
What if i saved more?
What if i got a job earlier?
What if i didnt marry my ex?

Siguro, i would have a better life. On the other hand, maybe i wouldnt also be as strong as i am now if i didnt experience the hard part. And maybe i wouldn't be as appreciative of what i have constantly in my life.

So, i always try not to dwell on the past. After all, i can never get it back. We can only move forward.

what if i chose the first job offer i got instead of my present job?

-what if i proceed to law school, mas masaya kaya ako?

in the end, di na talaga maibabalik ang past and kailngan nalang natin mag move forward. pero mahirap, nakaka depress na minsan.
